5 Legends and a Bug [OU RMT]

Since I Broke my Arm and can't do much I suddenly play on Shoddy Non-Stop. I was trying to get a good team and was building for two days till I finally had this team. Most of my pokemon have a moveset that people don't expect. They are all really common pokes that can sweep and take some hits..

So This is the team Line-Up. Rotom is Rotom-S. Now let's go to my squad indept.

A closer look at the team

jirachi.png

Jirachi @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Serene Grace
EVs: 80 HP/252 Atk/176 Spd
Jolly nature (+Spd, -SAtk)
Steel - Iron Head
Psychic - Trick
Bug - U-turn
Rock - Stealth Rock

- I never used a Jirachi Lead nor a TrickScarf lead before but I got to admit it works like a charm. I use Iron Head mostly to kill of the sleep inducing leads like Roserade and Smeargle. Even faced some gengar leads with Hypnosis. If I face an Azelf lead I use U-Turn and switch out to Latias or Heatran to take the Flash Fire boost. Most of the time I switch out to come in later when I know the oppenents team and then trick my scarf to a wall or another pokemon that can afford to be locked into one move. Then set up SR and try to kill a few pokemon with Iron Head
zapdos.png

Zapdos @ Leftovers
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 248 HP/228 Def/32 Spd
Bold nature (+Def, -Atk)
Electric - Thunderbolt
Flying - Roost
Fire - Heat Wave
Normal - Roar

- This Zapdos is my counter to some threats. I chose the physical defensive over the Special defensive to take a hit an KO a +1 DD gyara and KO Scizor even if I lost some health. Roost is to restore myself and Roar to phaze some pokemon that like to set-up.

rotomspin.png

Rotom-s @ Leftovers
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 HP/216 Spd/40 SAtk
Modest nature (+SAtk, -Atk)
Electric - Thunderbolt
Electric - Thunder Wave
Air Slash - Air Slash
Ghost - Shadow Ball

Many People will think why Rotom-S over Rotom-H.Well because in my opinion it fits the team better. T-Wave is to paralyze some pokemon to make it somewhat easier to sweep for my other pokemon. Thunderbolt and Shadow Ball for STAB. Air Slash is a good combo with T-Wave and makes this an annoying pokemon

heatran.png

Heatran (M) @ Shuca Berry
Ability: Flash Fire
EVs: 4 Atk/252 Spd/252 SAtk
Naive nature (+Spd, -SDef)
Fire - Fire Blast
Dragon - Dragon Pulse
Normal - Explosion
Ground - Earth Power

At first I had a Choice Scarf Heatran but I didn't really like it. Fire Blast is for STAB and after an FF boost it can KO So many pokemon. Dragon to serously damage some dragons that think they can set up while im locked into Fire Blast. Earth Power is to kill other Heatran. Thanks to the Shucca Berry I Can survive I can survive their Earth Power and OHKO them back.

latias.png

Latias (F) @ Leftovers
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 128 HP/252 Spd/128 SAtk
Timid nature (+Spd, -Atk)
Psychic - Calm Mind
Dragon - Dragon Pulse
Normal - Recover
Normal - Refresh

People will think that this is a strange set. To have only one attacking move that is resisted by a common type like Steel. Well with Refresh and Recover my Latias can set up against Blissey and other Status inducers that think they can outstall my Latias. If I get 6 Calm Minds (Wich I will get against Blissey) I can even sweep Blissey and don't have to fear the rest of the oppenents team. I need to make sure tough that Scizor is dead already. Timid Nature to outspeed as much as possible.
scizor.png

Scizor (M) @ Life Orb
Ability: Technician
EVs: 200 HP/252 Atk/56 Def
Adamant nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
Normal - Swords Dance
Fight - Superpower
Flying - Roost
Steel - Bullet Punch

Now my oppenent will think this is a Choice Band scizor. And that gives me the time to set up on the oppenent. With BP I try to sweep as much as possible and with Superpower to kill the steels that resist it. Roost to heal off damage. Swords dance to set up.

Aftertalk

Well This is the team. Most Pokemon cover each others weaknesses.
As You can see my only choiced pokemon is Jirachi and he almost always loses his Scarf. That's because I don't like to be locked into one move. Also my team is more Special based than Physical (4/6 are special) because I think there are more physical walls than special walls and the only real special wall is Blissey wich I like to switch in to with Latias

Common Leads

376.gif
Metagross: Just use U-Turn to Zapdos. It will set up the Rocks but that doesn't matter much for my team

482.gif
Azelf: U-Turn to Rotom-S I think. Didn't faced it yet

385.gif
Jirachi: Set up the rocks and switch. Most of the other Jirachi's will try to trick

248.gif
Tyranitar: Iron Head is a 2KO and with the flinch I won't get hit

260.gif
Swampert: Didn't faced it yet. I think trick the scarf and let it get locked into SR

407.gif
Roserade: Iron Head to prevent it from putting me to sleep. It's a 2KO
235.gif
Smeargle: Same as Roserade

Defensive threat list

242.gif
Blissey: I have 2 options. Switch to a counter that can kill it immidiately or switch to Latias to set up
227.gif
Skarmory: Heatran and Zapdos OHKO it. Latias can set up

437.gif
Bronzong: Didn't faced yet. Heatran I think

260.gif
Swampert: This is a pain in the ass for my team. I'm considering HP Grass over Dragon Pulse on Heatran

245.gif
Suicune: Thunderbolt with Zapdos or Rotom-S. if it sets up roar away.

143.gif
Snorlax: I think I will set up with Scizor or Latias

Offensive Threat List

392.gif
Infernape: Heatran can OHKO it with Earth Power but needs to watch out for Close Combat. Otherwise Latias or Zapdos I think

212.gif
Scizor: Heatran and Zapdos

380.gif
Latias:Latias against Latias. Will be a speed tie or if the oppenent is scarfed I lose. Heatran with Dragon Pulse

485.gif
Heatran: My heatran always wins

248.gif
Tyranitar: Jirachi with Iron Head

130.gif
Gyarados: Zapdos or Rotom-S

373.gif
Salemence: Latias or scizor

448.gif
Lucario: Didn't faced yet. I think I need to sacrefice Heatran and finish with Zapdos or Rotom

121.gif
Starmie: Zapdos or Rotom

135.gif
Jolteon: Heatran is a clear OHKO

376.gif
Metagross: Zapdos, If it uses agility use roar otherwise with heat wave

Okay, I'm assuming you're goal is to sweep with scizor. Let's start with scizor. You'll want to switch those 56 def ev's to speed to outspeed skarm. Now, some people like to be slower than skarm to nail it with a SE fighting move when it roosts but I always preferred being faster. Brick break over superpower has also always been better to me, since at +6 SP doesn't get any extra ohko's that BB wouldn't and with roost you actually have survivabilty. And once you attack once no one will think you have CB, so if you really want to bluff CB, consider shed shell.

Now, speaking of zone, it's a huge problem for you. Not only does it trap and kill 2 of your mons with no regard, you can't do anything to penalize zone afterwards besides sending in heatran.

Now, zapdos and rotom have redundant coverage, so we'll drop one of them, let's drop zapdos since you're already quite gyarados weak, and make rotom more defensive. If you keep zapdos, try discharge if you still want paralysis or try twave on rachi. Also consider WoW, if only for ttar which destroys your team.

Now, you have an extra slot to work with. You also need a better switch in to heatran than latias which can only have a nve dp and leaves you open to pursuit. First, let's just try surf on that latias since you have no way of eliminating steels anyways.

Now, let's fit in swampert to the free slot. You can now beat tran who checks scizor more easily, gives you an electric immunity for zone, counters ttar who walks all over this team as is, gives you a straight switch in to blissey that isn't scizor bait or reveals your late game sweeper. Something like earthquake/ice beam/hydro pump/roar should work well.

The main problem with this team as is is that it's a trapper's dream. Zone + TTar alone traps and kills 5/6 of your team. With my changes, you can hit tar harder with WoW and cm surfs and you can hurt zone who traps you by cming or roaring.

EDIT: Heatran is not a heatran counter, not even with shucca. Besides, I was thinking more about something like scizor + infernape running through the team, I said heatran weak, but I really meant fire weak in general.

Jirachi, fine generic scarfrachi

I agree with switching your zapdos, your team seems to be kinda pointless and goes with the flow. There isn't any offensive/defensive strategy for it. Maybe add an offensive scouter so your scizor can sweep at the end. Scarf flygon works well.

Flygon @ Choice scarf
Moveset EVs 80 HP / 252 Atk / 176 Spe Adamant/Naughty
~ Earthquake
~ Outrage
~ Stone Edge / Draco Meteor / Fire Blast
~ U-turn

Adamant for stone edge, naughty if you wanna mixattack.

3 of your pokes also gets screwed over by enemy scizors, maybe a magnezone could work.

Maybe add a substitute instead of explosion on heatran. Heatran can cause a heck of a lot of switches, so don't be afraid to try out substitute.

That is a strange latias, but in theory it does seem quite effective against complete stall teams. Just watch out for weavile, it can outspeed and deal super-effective damage. SD scizor, becoming rare, but its effectiveness is unexpectedly good. You just need to focus around getting an effective scouter and counters to scizors counters so you can bring it out mid/late game to sweep.

@ Scofield - Shed Shell on Scizor I will do. I was thinking of Expert Belt but shed shell allows me to get away of magnezone. In case you dont know I use Heatran to kill other Heatran. It will survive Earth power thanks to shucca berry. So heatran is not a problem. I will try Swampert in the slot of Zapdos and Surf on Latias. It will cost me the easy Set-Up against SkarmBliss so I think that I will make a choice between the two when I tested surf. Thank you very much:D

@ Jonsterz - I know that this team looks pretty standard and that it looks like is has no goal but it has. If it wouldn't have I would still hang on the 800 CRE. I know have 1240 (Not much but it's still raising) I have win/loss ratio of 25-3 with it. The goal is to kill the counters of Latias and paralyze some threats. Then start killing. If Latias doesn't get the job done I still have Scizor at hands to set up and sweep. This seems like "going with the flow" But I don't use the common sets.
