Axestrike comes in with a glint in his eye & immediately pummels Drogon with a powerful rampage, but Drogon kept his cool, creating 4 clones of himself. While Axestrike started pounding clones, the real Drogon pelted Axestrike with some powerful assaults, even landing a critical hit once! Eventually Axestrike came out of his rage & became tired & confused...

Double Team may have saved Drogon for now, but how long will it be before Axestrike finds the real Drogon & put him to bed once & for all, if at all? We shall see soon enough...

Hax continues to work in favour of Drogon it seems, with Axestrike hitting himself A1, then hitting another clone, while Drogon remains calm & battering Axestrike until he fell, with Speed Tie wins helping Drogon a lot...

The scores now stood at 5-4 deadfox081, but there was still a very long way to go. Hax may have saved Drogon now, but surely, Flamestrike will find a way to strike back. How? We're about to see...

Brandon recalled Axestrike and carefully considered who to send out next. He found himself regretting having lost Steelstrike and allowing Stonestrike to get low on HP; he realized that with what deadfox had left, the Rock/Ground types would have been immensely useful. There wasn't much he could do about it now, however. He couldn't afford to risk Stonestrike or Glacierstrike, so he decided to go with the Pokemon that would be least useful going forward. "Alright, you're up Leafstrike! This is a tough type matchup for you, but I'm afraid we don't have much choice! Enable Contrary, start with a Pursuit to eliminate that last clone, then hammer him with a Leaf Storm and a Giga Drain! If he tries to set up more Double Team clones or use Thunder Wave on you, put a stop to it with a Taunt!

Summary:
Enable Contrary
Pursuit -> Leaf Storm -> Giga Drain
If he uses Double Team A2 or A3 use Taunt and push actions back
If he uses Thunder Wave use Taunt and push actions back

"Okay Drogon, you've done amazingly well so far. This matchup might suit us but you're also quite tired. I think our best bet is to draw out that Taunt and use it to elongate your time in the match a little. This way it will take another round for him to get through us and we can return some of the trainers own favourite medicine in the mean time."

As Drogon baits the Taunt from Leafstrike, it does in fact, put deadfox081 in a great tactical position, even after Leafstrike killed the last of the clones, as Drogon pummels Leafstrike for sizeable damage.

Looks like Flamestrike is at a great disadvantage here, even if he gets the KO next round. Does he have an ace in the hole that could turn the tables back in his favour? We may see soon enough, right after Leafstrike (maybe) deals the final blow to Drogon...

"Okay Curl, I believe we might be able to deal with this. This is a little trick we don't often take advantage of but I'm beginning to think it might be one your have to employ often. I want you to start off by combining Pin Missile and Spikes to throw a multitude of projectiles at the foe. Both attacks involve the throwing of needles/spikes so I think you shouldn't have too much trouble combining them and circumventing that Taunt. After you've rested from that launch your Steamroller attack to take advantage of the arena's current dislike for Dark types. Of course if it is decided that your combination is illegal then just smack this thing in the face as hard as possible and be gone with it. Leave your Poison Point Enabled throughout, it won't be sticking around long enough for Toxic to make a difference."

Pin Missile + Spikes > Cooldown > Steamroller

the combination is deemed illegal THEN replace your actions with Steamroller > Poison Jab > Steamroller

As Leafstrike baits Curl into a rage, Curl sent a flurry of missile spikes which battered Leafstrike, but for not as much as expected. Not only that, but a whole bunch of Needle Spikes have scattered around Flamestrike's side! But these aren't ordinary spikes, though...Nevertheless, Leafstrike fires a seed at Curl which starts sapping health, while Curl does nothing. Lastly, Leafstrike fires a storm of leaves which batter Curl, & Curl rounds out the round by flattening Leafstrike!

So, Leafstrike dealt more damage, but these needle spikes look like they are not exactly going to be friendly! What will happen next round? Stay tuned.

*: Needle Spikes has the same properties of Regular Spikes, that is, it will deal fixed damage depending on the number of layers, but it will also deal +3 damage for each time a Pokemon is weak to Bug, or -3 damage for each time a Pokemon resists Bug. Any further use of Spikes will result in Needle Spikes while Needle Spikes is on the field.

"Great job Curl! We've all but evened up the hazard game for little cost to you. This arena change is going to make our choices a little bit tougher, but I think you can nut it out."

Poison Jab > Steamroller+Steamroller > Cooldown (Poison Jab)
IF
Servine has a Substitute when you come to attack on action two THEN forget the combo and replace your remaining actions with normal Steamroller attacks until the end of the round

Stats can only decay at most one stage per round, so my Special Attack should only go down by 1 stage. (Thank goodness the wording was finally fixed -_-). And how the hell is Steamroller so much stronger in ASB than it is in-game lol >.>

EDIT: Oh, Steamroller should be 1 less BP; Servine is SC 2 while Whirlipede is SC 3; 3-2=1, 9+1=10 :D

I would've had this done earlier, then I realised why you should NEVER directly type your reffings into Smogon without backing up. Also, technically, you have to say IF (x) uses Substitute A1 OR A2, AND it is still up come your action, THEN (y). I'll let you get away with that this time, but next time...Stupid? Yes.
