That was me who provided the link--activity is NAI for TBZ in forum NOC. I've seen him jump into a game gungho and then get modkilled as doctor for noposting. Ime though you can get a lot from what he does do when he's around. In forum and in chat, when he's actually around he's prone to gamesmanship. Dropping a vote w/o much comment & then popping back in to make adjustments based on reactions isn't unusual for him (any more than hardclaiming faith seer with a wolf inspect only to retract next day & proceed based on reactions). It's the sort of thing you see when he cbf reading but doesn't want to do nothing.
Nothing's impossible, but out of our absentee slots he's the one I have the easiest time treating as town.
 
Btw you claimed by earlier card because you said you were doing the odds of what setup according the knowledge you know of your role, if you were town pr (or mafia) you would have far higher knowledge on which setup it is. So the maths you did was from a vt perspective obviously.
 
Btw the P(6VT) stuff in the bit I'm quoting from my shorthand should really be P(6VT given Me VT) but I didn't do that because it's my PM and I know what I'm doing.

Also I'm not quoting anything from you Nuxl, I'm repeating what I've said to you to my fellow players in a way that follows the rules.

Nuxl missed it in rules though, the regardless the reason is that you could do something like you just did with the "look I've been talking about being town all game in my role pm I'm town", also logs to proves neighbourhoods etc in other games.

Anyways idt it matters here much and as I said nick left it out in rules anyways so maybe he's not running it like such.

I appreciate the follow up/game retrospective, but it does kinda bum me a bit that you called it at p27 bc this is something I actually was kind of hinting at a couple posts back.
You keep addressing the form of the read & not the actual targets of the read.
It's not active/active, inactive/inactive - it's that Tommy ruled out the other players and, after narrowing down the votepool, went on to rule out possible pairings. TBZ's handful of interactions since entering the thread make him an unsuitable partner with you, and unless you think Caff & Whydon's interactions during the BP/Tracker checks were W/W theater, they're not really viable either
If I'm off-base abt any of that, Dusk can call me out - but that was the line of thinking I saw & idt there's anything terribly objectionable about the conclusion itself or how it was reached
 
I'm genuinely asking myself now if I believe caffeine had that in his role pm actually or spent the half an hour writing his will typing it up, both is probably possible

No. I'm on Former but that was a ping that snowballed into a vote because you iso'd Former and found what I would've looked for had I been bothered to do it myself.

lol, I called it at p27 because it seemed like the thread was really active but then as soon as I stopped everything died down. Big sad.

And I guess the reason I'm doing that is the form of the read is what's really making me go :blobastonished:, like I see it and I just instinctively don't like it.

Part of that is just I'm not a fan of making a pool that narrow before D1 is over. From my experience, the best evidence is people's relations to people who have flipped and part of me feels like if I accept the pool is that narrow, then I'm going to focus on those people and miss things from other players. I see the reason for stuff like TBZ and me, but also I don't think that's genuinely enough to say we couldn't be a pair. Like, what, TBZ posted a vote on me D1 and did nothing more, and that means we can't be partners? That's not really great logic there. Definitely enough logic to make a read sure. But no where near enough for me to be comfortable with pairings. (I'm just using TBZ and I as an example, I'd have to go back and relook at Caff and Whydon, nothing pinged me when re-reading).

Tl;dr, trying to narrow it down that early just makes me super paranoid because I don't think enough has been done at this point to make those pairs viable pairs.

Yeah sure. I was really busy yesterday and didn't have the time to really think about how my reaction would look. My vote was kind of the equivalent of this emoji
