A Bad Attempt at a Stall Team, so help me! lol

Ok well I've tried making a stall team, not the biggest expert in it so help would be appreciated.

hippowdon.png

@ Leftovers
Bold - Sandstorm
252 Hit Points - 252 Defense - 4 Special Defense
Stealth Rock
Slack Off
Stone Edge
Earthquake

Hippowdon is a great wall, and does 2 crucial things; sets up Stealth Rock and gets Sandstorm going. Max Hit Points and Defense make him a very good Physical Wall, allowing him to take a hit and Slack Off the damage. Stone Edge is to hit things like Gyardos/Mence and Earthquake is for STAB which helps since he isn't getting any EV's in Attack.

blissey.png

@ Leftovers
Bold - Natural Cure
252 Defense - 200 Special Attack - 56 Special Defense
Calm Mind
Fire Blast
Softboiled
Seismic Toss/[With Calm Mind, I'm considering maybe Ice Beam/Thunder, probably thunder for cune]

Well of course no max walled team is without the big white bitch known as Bliss lol. Takes special hits very well even with the EV set given and the special attack investment allows it to do MAJOR damage to things like Bronzong, Metagross, Weavile, Heracross, etc that like to switch in on poor little Blissey (some are OHKO's) via Fire Blast and Thunder hits those bulky waters really hard while Ice Beam would hit dragons, I'm leaning toward Thunder.

skarmory.png

@ Shed Shell
Impish - Keen Eye
156 Defense - 252 Hit Points - 100 Special Defense
Spikes
Whirlwind
Brave Bird
Roost

Skarmory is the 2nd Phazer of the team. Sets up Spikes like nothing else can and has Brave Bird to hurt things and Roost to do it more efficiently. Standard.

tentacruel.png

@ Leftovers
Calm - Liquid Ooze
204 Hit Points - 96 Special Attack - 172 Special Defense - 36 Speed
Surf
Ice Beam
Rapid Spin
Toxic Spikes

Sets up the Toxic Spikes, which is what really wins the games in a stall team. Rapid Spin is there because teams like this switch a lot and you don't want to get hit by (Toxic) Spikes/Stealth Rock and my Spin Blocker would appreciate it a lot too lol. Ice Beam/Surf is just for attacks to hurt things with. Also absorbs Toxic Spikes so I don't even have to spin to get those away.

spiritomb.png

@ Leftovers
Bold - Pressure
252 Hit Points - 252 Defense - 4 Special Attack
Dark Pulse
Calm Mind
Rest
Sleep Talk

Spin Blocker. This set also serves as an awesome status absorber. Another thing this set does is STALL like hell, letting Toxic Spikes (hopefully) do it's thing in killing the opponent. Then after that there's still the attack with a powerful Dark Pulse.

zapdos.png

@ Leftovers
Timid - Pressure
252 Hit Points - 160 Special Defense - 96 Speed
Roost
Substitute
Hidden Power - Ice
Thunderbolt

Stalls stuff out and also gives me an actualy counter to Skymin (which I really needed). Thunderbolt/HP Ice gives me BoltBeam coverage. Roost to live longer and Sub to hide from status/etc.

Well thanks for reading,
-Matt

Just a quick point, you open with hippowdon, yet seem to have not utilized the sand stream. Most of your pokes take damage from sand stream, and even with the lefties recovery, this puts a major impediment to your ability to wall pokes. Also, due to this said weakness, you have weak to Garchomp. Once Hippo and Skarm are reduced to 50-ish percent, SDchomp will have no trouble sweeping the rest of your team, especially with one SD under its belt.

On the Deoxys-E i've seen a new and surprisingly counter-active moveset for E.

Deoxys-E @ Life Orb
Pressure
Hasty
252 hp/252atk/6spe
-Superpower
-Thunderpunch
-Icepunch
-Zen Headbutt

I'll try it but why so little speed ev's? I mean I know it's fast but what if I come across a scarf'd poke where I'd need the speed? Also the origional has the advantage of not having to worry about the draw backs of superpower...

2 things:

1) Garchomp is banned
2) Sandstorm is to wear down opponents since I stall them out, it cancels THEIR leftovers too which is important

Ok so Hippowdon hasn't been doing hardly ANYTHING good for me, getting Sandstorm started isn't worth it, so who should I go with to set up Stealth Rock and lead?

Bronzong?
Jirachi?
Azelf?
What?

Just a few things I'd like to mention. On Hippowdon, Earthquake is a must. However, I find myself never using Roar, due to the fact that Skarmory does it better. In order to hit common leads like Gyarados and Gengar, I'd use Stone Edge in Roar's spot. Ice Fang isn't as necessary since Garchomp is gone, and Stone Edge hits virtually all of what Ice Fang hits super effective anyway.

Consider a Calm Mind Blissey as well, since SubSuicune gives this team major problems. I've personally never used Aromatherapy, and since you have a status absorber, seems kind of unnecessary.

Run Brave Bird on Skarmory for sure. It gives you the jump on Celebi's and other random stuff (like Taunt Gyarados).

Although Deoxys-s is the best closer in the game, consider a SubRoost Zapdos in the last slot. Helps with your Suicune weak, and also pressure stalls the opponent, letting your toxic spikes work to their full potential. Also beats most rapid spinners one on one, making it easier on Spiritomb.

Ok thanks and I made the appropiate changes. Thinking about Thunder on Bliss to hit some more stuff harder now that I'm using Calm Mind (which makes Seismic Toss kinda pointless). Um I still wanna replace the Hippowdon though, just not workign well.

Some options are:
Aerodactyl (not very bulky though =/)
Azelf
Bronzong
Celebi
Fortress
Gliscor
Jirachi
Swampert
Uxie

I'm actually really considering the Uxie:

uxie.png

@ Leftovers
Impish - Levitate
252 Hit Points - 252 Defense - 4 Special Defense
Stealth Rock
U-Turn
Yawn
Psychic/Thunderbolt (not sure which one)

Just Stealth Rock then Yawn, U-Turn on they're switch, good opening. Just an idea though.
