[SET COMMENTS]
Specs Latios is a great offensive breaker which is able to switch into a lot of defensive Pokemon such as Ting-Lu, Iron Defense Skarmory and some defensive Gliscor sets and pressure them for huge damage. Thanks to its good speed tier, array of high-powered options, and solid coverage, it can hit potential checks like Ting-Lu, Slowking-Galar, Kingambit and Gholdengo for huge damage. Scarf Latios is a great revenger killer which can easily take down common threats such as Dragapult, Protosynthesis Speed Walking Wake, Darkrai and Zamazenta and also makes for a good endgame cleaner with its STABs. STAB Draco Meteor and Luster Purge hit many meta threats such as Ogerpon-Wellspring, Zamazenta, Walking Wake and Iron Valiant and threaten to pick up kills on weakened Pokemon too. Aura Sphere is a crucial coverage move used to hit its most common enemies in Ting-Lu, Darkrai and Kingambit and also hits Steel types such as Heatran and Iron Treads. Psychic Noise is a nice move to have over Luster Purge if you are looking to break through stall. Flip Turn is a great pivoting move to have to get out of tough situations and avoid its major checks like Kingambit and Ting-Lu. Trick can be run over Flip Turn to stop setup sweepers in their tracks. Max SpAtk on Specs Latios allows it to OHKO many offensive Pokemon such as Iron Valiant and Zamazenta with its STABs and coverage Aura Sphere to OHKO Pokemon like and Kingambit and Samurott-Hisui. Max Speed on Scarf allows it to out run faster threats such as Zamazenta, Dragapult, Roaring Moon and Weavile, in which the latter three can threaten to OHKO non-scarf Latios with their STABs. Tera Dragon is a great option to boost Draco Meteors through the roof allowing you to chunk defensive walls who take the move well like Skarmory and Ting-Lu while Tera Fighting is also a great option to resist common Dark types like Kingambit and Weavile and easily revenge kill them with boosted Aura Sphere. Tera Fire and Steel are nice other defensive tera options to resist Ice and Fairy types like Iron Valiant and Weavile.

Choice Specs Latios is a powerful asset on bulky offense and balance builds for its powerful wallbreaking capabilities. This set is also great in offense teams who lack a definitive hazard removal slot thanks to its immunity to spikes which lets it stay healthy long enough pressure a lot of walls which the team does not appreciate and punish attackers like Ogerpon-Wellspring and Zamazenta. Specs Latios can also help teammates like Darkrai and Raging Bolt by weakening Pokemon like TIng-Lu, allowing then to set up and sweep late game. Choice Scarf is useful for outspeeding major speedy threats such as Dragapult, Zamazenta and Weavile, which teammates like Darkrai, Raging Bolt and Gouging Fire love gone, allowing them to wreak havoc later in the game. Unfortunately, as the powerful monster as it is, common offensive Pokemon such as Scizor, Weavile and Kingambit can easily switch into its STABs and revenge kill it. Teammates like Gouging Fire and Zamazenta can force these Pokemon out thanks to their natural ability to check and remove them easily. Specially bulky Pokemon like Ting-Lu and Blissey also stop it in its tracks, but Pokemon like Mixed & Physical Valiant and Zamazenta are appreciated by Latios to be able to deal with these pokemon effectively. Defensive pivots such as Corviknight and Slowking-Galar are also execellent teammates who can deal with some aforementioned Pokemon such as Kingambit and Iron Valiant. Another niche check that Latios doesn't appreciate is Primarina, especially Assault Vest variants of them. Teammates like Ogerpon-Wellspring, Iron Moth, Rillaboom and Meowscarada can easily remove it to allow Latios to be even more of a threat. Scarf Latios is hindered by it's inability to instantly kill due to its slightly less power output but hazard setters like Samurott-Hisui, Glimmora and Ting-Lu can set up enough hazards to put a lot of Pokemon in range of being instantly removed by Latios' moves.

After discussing this with the QC team and OU C&C staff, we've agreed to reject your analysis at this time, and as such we'll be putting Choice Latios back up for reservation. The QC team had to work with you extensively enough just to get it out of WIP that anything more would border on a full-blown rewrite, which is far more than what QC's role in this whole process entails and indicates that you need a bit more experience using Scarf/Specs Latios before writing about it.

That said, you're still free to reserve future analyses when another slate opens up. You clearly have a lot of enthusiasm for this sort of stuff and I think with a bit more metagame knowledge (or a better ability to articulate things; writing this stuff can be tough too) you'd be able to write a damn good analysis. We just don't think this was ready yet is all.

If you have any questions and/or need some guidance for future analyses if you want to write more stuff for us, feel free to ask one of us and we can help out!
