A breloom without Toxic Orb?

What you have there is the standard set before toxic orb was released, with Dynamic punch in place of seed bomb,

Well, but then again, Choice Band isn't all for loss on a Swellow, as a WoW or Toxic will still prove him worthy. He still gets the same bonus, but could possibly get more out of Guts, but then again you are prone to Thunder Wave. Sucks doesn't it? Sleep is no big deal with Sleep Talk anyways.

Well, the Breloom idea could work as an Anti-Staller, but it would still fell a bit niche since most of the time you won't see Toxic, and then proceed to get burned, paralyzed, poisoned, or even fall asleep. Blech... sleep.

There already is two good starter Breloom. One with Protect and Toxic Orb to prevent sleepers, and the other with a Focus Sash to "guarantee" a Spore.
 
No. If it's to counter poison, why not have a toxi orb anyway? It's the same, but ADDS an attack boost, and always heals, because you will not always be poisoned. The only reason to have no toxic orb is if you have effect spore, so you can have T-punch. don't do it
 
Poison Orb adds an attack boost to non-Guts Pokemon now?

Anyway, I used this a while ago and it was so effective because it kept people from using anything poison-related against me (so it actually was useless, but the idea was nice).
 
Theretically if you could predict a switch into a poison move you could have 18% recovery, but this would be difficult to do. Standard Breloom works like a charm on just about any team anyhow.
 
lol, I had this very thought it would also work in a double battle Toxicing your teamate however it is a very risky move should your opponent not use toxic/spikes and leaves him wide open for Sleep/Para and ESPECIALLY Burn
