A challenge to raters.

Well you see, this is for a roleplay. I'll skip all the bull shit but basically I'm limited to fire/electric/ice/steel/dragon types with no legendaries. Atop of that, the character is using trick room. As a sort of footnote, I'd like to point out I don't like the move Trick room competitively but seeing as how this is NOT competitive that doesn't matter.

Buttt alas inb4notcompetitivewhymatter?

I would like to see suggestions, simple as that. Any pokes I forgot that could pose a threat or ways of balancing out the team. Yknow? So this isn't really anything important or special. I'm just wanting to have fun haha.

I tried using pokemon that are good normally, not just slow strong pokemon that suck because of their speed.

Bronzong @ Macho Brace
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 HP/152 Atk/8 Def/96 SDef
Relaxed nature (+Def, -Spd)
- Trick Room
- Gyro Ball
- Stealth Rock
- Earthquake

The lead. I typically set up trick room than gyro ball madness or switch to approriate pokemon. If I don't know what to do I'll stealth rock than switch. It takes a lot of hits and sets up many trick rooms no problem. Love him.

However a lot of the time I rarely use sr or eq and find that explode would probably be a better option. Suggestions?

---
Slowbro (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: Own Tempo
EVs: 212 HP/252 Def/44 SAtk
Relaxed nature (+Def, -Spd)
- Calm Mind
- Slack Off
- Trick Room
- Surf

Provides good resistances and can perform a one man sweep sometimes. Also survives long and is my only other trick roomer. Cool shit bro.

---
Mamoswine (M) @ Choice Band
Ability: Snow Cloak
EVs: 252 Atk/4 Def/252 Spd
Adamant nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Ice Shard
- Earthquake
- Stone Edge
- Superpower

My revenge killer numero uno. He packs a mean hit and can do some damage with a tr eq. He's not exactly the slowest but he's slow enough to use it. I did used to run a curse swine in this spot and I have a hard time figuring which would better fit.

yes I know by the time I'm done cursing tr is gone but the point is to curse on the switch and be able to strike at something that is attempting to ohko you as you set up.

---
Flygon (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 HP/176 Def/80 Spd
Timid nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Roost
- Toxic
- Earthquake
- Fire Blast

Most expendable member on team. Used only because of his resistances, I'd rather have something else.

---
Metagross @ Leftovers
Ability: Clear Body
EVs: 112 HP/252 Atk/12 Def/132 Spd
Adamant nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Earthquake
- Meteor Mash
- Agility
- Thunderpunch

Agiligross. Sounds stupid with tr but it usually works out oddly. Either flat out attack during tr then agility and continue sweeping or agility with no trick room and sweep. Gets rid of gyarados nice. =D

---
Gallade (M) @ Life Orb
Ability: Steadfast
EVs: 64 HP/252 Atk/192 Spd
Adamant nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Close Combat
- Swords Dance
- Shadow Sneak
- Psycho Cut

My second priority killer...barely. He doesn't pack a punch with his priority. He also isn't the fastest poke but he hits HARD. Great coverage and good special wall kind of. Sometimes too damn fragile and creates a thorn in my side

Any suggestions?

Ok so firstly explain the full rules to this team, because its got some strange ones.

On lead, SR is a given especially on bronzong and the like, EQ is a must to hit heatran/infernape/metagross, and personally i would use heatproof as:

a) gives you an extra turn, which is nice with trick room up
b) most leads that think they cant hit it with much will switch out anyway, not to mention the fire types that do stay in.

Also run Sassy as most attacks on bronzong will be Special attacks.

Honestly this team is lost, it has 2 trick roomers, and 2 people that can use it, and not effectly at all. Not to mention that everyone else in the team is fast.

Honestly this is im sure most battles would turn out, Heatran used SR, u TR, then you SR he uses fire blast u die, then you bring in slowbro and he explodes which will deal craploads of damage if not kill (cbf doing calcs). So now you are faced with 4 fast sweepers crippled by trick room.

I dont mean to be rude, but have you actually played with this team yet, and has it worked, EVER? Really you should rethink your whole team (or just slowbro and bronzong at least)

Been playing plenty against fellow people who are in similar restraints. Legendaries are not used so your heatran situation is null.

Bronzongs levitate I love for it's immunity switch from metagross.

Bronzong's eq has dealt with tentacruel before, I'd rather just switch out against a infernape considering what it will do back to me regardless of heatproof, and metagross doesn't feel a threat.

Alas, you're right.

It needs to be redone.

So with that.

I ask you.

SUGGESTIONS. Not team is fucked. You have a core third of the team with reliable trick room and a very malleable four other pokemon to switch around.

Rules are simple, I'm using only pokemon with ice steel psychic dragon or electrict types. Other factions have similar restraints (water steel fighting ground rock for example). No legendaries.

Oh and I hardly lose. Yet when I do, I lose hard.

In this team, Trick Room is pretty much only beneficial to 2 of your members - the Trick Roomers themselves. Examine your Pokemon - Agiligross, Gallade with 192 Speed, max speed Mamoswine, and Flygon (who's actually OKAY in terms of speed) - these rely on speed to function effectively. I would cancel Trick Room on both Pokemon, slap Trick on Bronzong so you could Trick that Macho Brace away, and put Ice Beam or Hp Electric on Slowbro. Also, you should watch out for Adamant SDLuke, who can take down Slowbro with Crunch, Mamoswine, Metagross, and Bronzong with Close Combat (SD Close Combat does 93% minimum to your type of Metagross, by the way),...you get the deal.

Good luck with the team!

You are breaching several rules with this RMT. I suggest you check out the RMT Rules, specifically 3 and 15, and PM me the corrected changes if you want your thread re-opened.
