a GA Pickup forum

hey. I've done a few Give Aways in the Wifi forum, and I've noticed that once it comes to picking up the pokemon, it usualy gets a bit hectic. I was wondering if there could be a forum for people to pick up pokemon that they won in give aways. What we would do would be start another forum where people who run Give aways will post a thread for their GiveAways. They would post a link to it in their orriginal give away thread, and then have the orriginal thread locked. The high points of having one would be

1) no reviving dead GAs with "I still need this" posts

2) that you can shut down the GAs as soon as they're over and therefore no more people will try to get one.

3) people don't have to clog their trading threads with posts about the GA


It might just be me wanting this, but I think it'd be a good idea.

Although this would be a good idea, I'm not sure how this is better than PM/VM. It was be unnecessary clutter to be honest.

I don't really think there is a need for yet another forum. Just use PMs/Visitor Messages to arrange trades.

The solution to the reviving dead GA's with "I want" posts is for the giveaway host to follow this tidbit, which is in the giveaway forum rules:

- Make sure you guys contact us when a Giveaway is over so we can close it. Thanks.
