Hey it's Cosby here with an OU team that I think has pretty good potential. But it's just the small things that get this team like Scrafty. Now when I teambuild I dont have to worry about Excadril and Thundurus. I never really had a problem with thundurus but Excadril was a pain in my ASS. Now let's take a look at the team. This team does really well on the PO server that's why I think it has great potential. I really like steel pokemon and believe that they are the best in the OU tier and should always have atleast 2 on a team. I kind of would like to get rid of gliscor. Have any ideas?
Now let's take a look at the defensive combos.
DEFENSE
And
My two walls have a defensive combo which is GREAT. They cover eachother's weaknesses very well.
Offense
And
My two scouts who as you will later see have moves that can switch out. They cover eachother's weaknesses great and are GREAT scouts :).
Offense
Scizwhore (Scizor) (M) @ Choice Band
Trait: Technician
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- U-turn
- Pursuit
- Bullet Punch
- Superpower
I have had GREAT success with this set in the past. It is hands down the best revenge killer in the OU metagame and always will be until Chandera's DW ability is released. The U-turn is great for scouting purposes and just coming in when my choices are bleak. Bullet Punch is the main move and most commonly used to revenge kill. Pursuit is for those moments when a pokemon survives with a SLIVER of health and you scream WHAT THE FUCK WAS THAT? Pursuit finishes those off because people are expecting the bullet punch not the pursuit and that pokemon is usualy dead after that. Superpower is just for coverage and its a great powerful move to have that will get Heatran on the switch.
Wht The FUCK (Ferrothorn) (M) @ Leftovers
Trait: Iron Barbs
EVs: 252 HP / 28 Def / 228 SDef
Relaxed Nature (+Def, -Spd)
IVS: Spe 0
- Gyro Ball
- Leech Seed
- Stealth Rock
- Protect
Ferrothorn nuff said. Once again, I have had great success with this set. Gyro ball is an awesome stab move to have and actualy does respectable damage and really adds up with Leech Seed. leech seed is to force a switch or just to get health back. I always have atleast one entry hazard user because I'm kind of old school and remember the 4th gen when everybody lead with an SR user. Protect is usualy used to stall and get Leech seed recovery. Ferro is my def wall but has SpD investment because I find that he takes special hits A LOT. Plus his DEF is already pretty big and of course MAx Hp to maximize bulk.
Sexy (Jellicent) (F) @ Leftovers
Trait: Water Absorb
EVs: 240 HP / 176 Def / 92 Spd
Bold Nature (+Def, -Atk)
- Toxic
- Recover
- Scald
- Taunt
Jellicent this is gonna sound like a broken record by the end of this RMT :) but, I have had major success with this team. I was actualy reccomended this set on a different RMT and it works wonders as a Special wall and also can take hits too. Its scald can actualy do some damage on a pokemon switching in. She has a 85 base sp att which is pretty respectable for a wall. My point is it can give hits and take hits. Opposing walls do not like to take a toxic which is why I have it. Recover makes it able to survive longer and stall the opposing pokemon with a long slow painful toxic death. taunt is rarely used but mostly used on sweepers and opposing walls who come in and want to set up. She has some speed Evs to outspeed Ou's top walls and taunt them :).
Dragonite (M) @ Lum Berry
Trait: Multiscale
EVs: 252 HP / 44 Atk / 212 Spd
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Fire Punch
- Dragon Claw
- Roost
- Dragon Dance
I have used this set in the past. @ the guy who reccomended it I usualy ran lafties over Lum because after a sandstorm hit I would still have multi scale. But many sweeps would be cut short of status or just needed one more DD but was stopped by PAR. So far it has worked well but I feel like I have a hard time finding a place to switch it in. Now I have tw0 4X weakness to ice Gliscor and Dragonite and only 2 ice resistances.
Gliscor (M) @ Toxic Orb
Trait: Poison Heal
EVs: 255 HP / 184 Def / 68 Spd
Impish Nature (+Def, -SAtk)
- Earthquake
- Ice Fang
- Swords Dance
- Protect
I'm trying this set over the Metagross set. I'm using the swords dance over the sub becauseI think this team needs some offensive firepower. Most people reccomended a Gliscor so I used this set. I have had some success with this set in the past mainy used as a def wall.
Your Bitch (Rotom-W) @ Choice Scarf
Trait: Levitate
EVs: 252 SAtk / 252 Spd
Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Volt Switch
- Hydro Pump
- Hidden Power [Fire]
- Trick
Scizor is Rotom's bestfriend they go together like women and a washing machine they are just perfect matches. With U-turn and Volt switch they can really wreak some havoc HydroPump is for stab and when Im predicting a ground type to come in. But the main move of this set is Volt Change. Trick is to cripple a pokemon like Scrafty which this team has a big problem with basically a last line of defense if I'm getting swept. Sadly, rotom CANNOT take hits at all and is usualy 2hko'd by most neutral moves
Well thats the team I hope you enjoyed looking at my team and reading my bad jokes ;). Please do not give me a grammar lesson as I do not care if my grammar is incorrect. Thanks in advanced,
Cosby
