Sorry I was on a school choir camp =(

Go Max the Litwick and Grace the Mienfoo!

Okay Grace, use Fake Out on Treecko so he flinches when Max uses Fire Blast on him. Then Swords Dance and wait then Vital Throw Blade.

Max, Will-O-Wisp Blade after the Fire Blast, then finish up by Fire Blasting Blade, or Protcting if he attacks you

Alright, Blitz, take the fake out and immediately begin spamming grasswhistle! Your main focus is sleeping Max, but if you get him on the first action, aim for Grace with your next one. Blade, start by using Rok Polish while nobody is attacking you, then use faint attack to avoid will-o-wisp and hit Max. Finally, finish it up by taking the vital throw as best you can and retaliating with Psycho Cut! Don't worry, we'll get em next round.

Action 1:

The battle begins!!! First off, Max uses Fake Out on Blitz, which causes him to flinch, and he can't use Grasswhistle this turn! Then, when the others are caught up in the action, Blade uses Rock Polish to boost his speed to sky-high levels!!! Wow that guy is fast! Then, Max finishes up the round by launching a lethal all-consuming Fire Blast at Blitz, and he sizzles up and some ash falls of his leafy body, causing a burn! Boy does that hurt!

Blitz: Takes 4 damage from Fake Out, 29 damage from Fire Blast, 2 damage from 2nd degree burn. Total: 35 damage.
Blade: Takes no damage, but uses 7 energy for Rock Polish.

Max: 8 energy from Fire Blast.
Grace: 4 energy from Fake Out

Action 2:

Now, being very fast, Blade hits Max with a Faint Attack, and this allows him to dodge any attack that was coming his way. Treeko, who is now burned and very annoyed, begins to relax himself, and he plays on a whistle that is made from some of the unburnt leaves on his tail. The song from the Grasswhistle lulls Max into a light sleep, meaning that he will only sleep for the rest of this action and the next turn. Meanwhile, Grace uses Swords Dance, which boosts her attack to sky-high levels! Wow, that's scary stuff!

Blitz: 2 damage from 2nd degree burn. 5 energy from Grasswhistle.
Blade: 4 energy from Faint Attack.

Max: 16 damage from Faint Attack. Will wake up action after next.
Grace: 7 energy from Swords Dance.

Action 3:

With Blade still at a high speed, he comes in and hits Grace hard with a Psycho Cut. It's super effective, and boy oh boy does that one hurt. Blitz then follows up by launching a Grasswhistle at Grace, and he too falls asleep! Not just any kind of sleep, but an intense sleep that means that he is going to be out for three more actions!

Blitz: 2 damage from burn, 5 energy from Grasswhistle
Blade: 5 energy from Psycho Cut

Max: Will wake up next action
Grace: Will wake up in three more actions. 13 damage from Psycho Cut

Good work guys!

Alright Blitz, you're still high on energy. Let's keep up the annoyance tactics and since Max is gonna wake up next action, keep on Grasswhistling, as he'll put the biggest dents on the team for now. Do everything you can to keep him asleep. If Arceus is on our side and your grasswhistle sleeps him for the rest of the round (and leaves you with a free action), use screech to lower Blade's defense and activate his defiant ability! Chill for anything else to recuperate.

Blade
, your job is to set up Swords Dance and Rock Polish while the opponents are snoozing soundly and hitting Grace as hard as you can with a Super Effective +6 Psycho Cut!

Okay, bad position guys, but we can do it. Max, when you wake up, use Minimise. The first Grasswhistle should be while you're still sleeping, so you can't hear it (duh) or you might be awake and hope for the miss. Next, use Will-O-Wisp on Blade if you're still awake, and then Protect in front of Grace if you're still awake

I beg you RNG gods, do not fail me

Action 1:

So now, we begin this turn, and for some reason, RitterCat's team still seems to be sleeping on the job! How disappointing... Blitz takes advantage of this, and he fires off another Grasswhistle. He sure does love those tunes... But stupidly... the song goes again towards Max, but he is asleep, and he can't hear anything, except the sweetness of his dreams. Blade also takes the opportunity to do something while his opponents sleep, and he sets up a Swords Dance. He sure does look strong and... sharp right now. I'd be very scared... However, it seems that Max is stirring, and he wakes up, Minimising himself, and making him even smaller than the candle that he already is. It's gonna be hard to hit him now...

Blitz: 5 energy from Grasswhistle, 2 damage from 2nd degree burn
Blade: 7 energy from Swords Dance

Max: 7 energy from Minimize; +2 evasion
Grace: Asleep for 2 more turns

Action 2:

And now, the second action commences it seems, and Blitz gets things moving again by firing yet another Grasswhistle towards Max, and despite having only a 33% chance to hit it, it seems that Arceus is on Blitz's side once again... However, Max only goes to sleep for one more turn. At the same time, Blade once again sits in a corner, and does his stat boosting moves, this time choosing to Polish some Rocks that he found nearby, raising his speed by two more levels. Wow, this guys is really fast now!

Blitz: 5 energy from Grasswhistle, 2 damage from 2nd degree burn
Blade: 7 energy from Rock Polish

Max: Asleep for one more turn...
Grace: See above

Action 3:

And now, the final action of this turn begins. Blitz gets things rolling by doing a seemingly strange move... He emits a very high pitched Screech at the waiting Blitz, but it misses! Blade however, seems undistracted by this and he comes in, and hits the sleeping Grace hard with another Psycho Cut! This hurts even more than the last one! Wow!

Blitz: Screech 6 energy, 2 damage from 2nd degree burn
Blade: Psycho Cut 5 energy

Max: Awake next turn
Grace: See above, 18 damage from Psycho Cut

Lets do this.

P.S. RitterCat, the RNG Gods failed you.

Farkin' hell, 33% chance? Really? Guh.

Anywayzez, Max, start by getting off a Will-O-Wisp to dent Blade's attacking prowess, while Grace goes for the Vital Throw on Blade. Then use Fire Blast on Blade and Flamethrower on Blade. Also, if he tries any Psycho Cuts on Grace, Protect her. Grace, finish off your actions with Swords Dance and Vital Throw

I like how Grasswhistle hits a minimized Litwick but my Screech doesn't hit my own Pokemon. :P Also, I though wake up next action meant that they'd have 3, not 2 actions... ;-;

Anyway! Good work guys! Let's finally push up on the offensive pressure. Blitz, your priority is to once again pull sleep off. If need be, use all three actions for it, but on Grace. If you have 1 free action left, Crunch Max, and if you have two, Swords Dance and then Crunch. Blade, use Faint Attack to dodge the incoming Will-o-Wisp and strike at Max, which should be easy with your speed boost. Then, use Sucker Punch on Max for your second action (i.e. while Grace Swords Dances) and use Faint Attack again to dodge that boosted Vital Throw if Grace is still awake and strike back if possible. If she slumbers soundly, pound Max with a Faint Attack instead.

Sorry for posting out of turn, but you cannot dodge with an attack and hit with it. I made this mistake as a ref recently, so just pointing it out

Action 1:

So, we start of the third turn of what is so far an interesting battle indeed. With Blade at +2 speed, it starts of the action with a Faint Attack, and it vanishes into the air! Blitz, still feeling ok comes in and blows yet another Grasswhistle towards Grace. Grace is still asleep though, and the stupid Blitz just sits back and watches his attack do nothing... Now however, Grace begins to stir and as she wakes up, she uses Vital Throw! Unfortunately, her target - Blade - is nowhere to be seen as she completes the throw, and she ends up throwing herself into the concrete wall of the arena. Ouch, that hurts! Finally, Max wakes up, after yet another slumber. Just as Blade reappears, Max fires off a Will-o-Wisp, and the for once, it seems that the RNG is on RitterCat's side, as it hits, giving Blade a second degree burn.

Blitz: 5 energy from Grasswhistle, 2 damage from 2nd degree burn.
Blade: 4 energy from Faint Attack, 2 damage from 2nd degree burn.

Grace: 5 energy from Vital Throw, 5 damage from crashing into a wall.
Max: 7 energy from Will-o-Wisp

Action 2:

So Blade gets things moving with the next action, as he uses a Sucker Punch on Max. Thanks to the recently inflicted burn though, it doesn't seem to do much to the candle, even though it did score a critical hit. Blitz then uses Grasswhistle on Grace, and it misses again! Wow, I guess this is payback for all those times that a 55 accuracy move hit before. The RNG gods sure hate you now playforkeeps123! Grace then boosts her attack again with Swords Dance. It seems that the table have certainly turned on playforkeeps... Finally, Max powers up a Fire Blast to use on Blade, and that hurts a lot!

Blitz: 5 energy from Grasswhistle, 2 damage from 2nd degree burn.
Blade: 6 energy from Sucker Punch, 2 damage from 2nd degree burn, 23 damage from Fire Blast.

Grace: 7 energy from Swords Dance
Max: 18 damage from Sucker Punch, 8 energy from Fire Blast

Action 3:

Now this time round, it seems as though RitterCat has the upper hand, and I feel inclined to believe that. The round starts when Blade disappears once again, vanishing without a trace. Then, Blitz fires of his 3rd Grasswhistle, and finally it hits Grace, sending her into a Deep Sleep, lasting for two more actions. Max comes in to send off a Flamethrower, but it misses, as Blade is nowhere to be seen...

Blitz: 5 energy from Grasswhistle, 2 damage from burn
Blade: 4 energy from Faint Attack, 2 damage from burn

Grace: Asleep; will wake up action after next.
Max: 7 energy from Flamethrower

Thanks for understanding, ElDino! Let's get this back on track!

Alright Blade, you've gotten our greatest fear, a nasty burn. Use your remaining power to tank a hit and Swords Dance. Then, smash Max with a Sucker Punch if he attacks, or hit Grace with a Psycho Cut if he Protects. Once Grace wakes up, you should still outspeed, so hack and slash with Psycho Cut.

Now, Blitz, use Screech as many times as needed to hit Blade once and activate Defiant. Then, use Swords Dance yourself and Crunch Max. Skip Swords Dance if you need to use Screech twice.

Okay, Grace, when you wake up use Swords Dance, then Vitally Throw Bisharp.

Max, use Fire Blast on Blitz, then Minimise. We haven't attacked, and we haven't protected, so Blade will be in a right kerfuffle. Finally, Protect against that Crunch

Action 1:

So Blade starts things off here, and he boosts his attack up with Swords Dance. Blitz then follows up by Screeching at his own teammate, for some stupid reason, as Defiant doesn't work when your stats are lowered by a teammate!! Finally, with Grace still asleep, Max uses Fire Blast on Blitz, and that frazzles the green lizard. Ouch!

Blitz: 2 damage from burn, 25 damage from Fire Blast, 6 energy from Screech.
Blade: 2 damage from burn, 7 energy from Swords Dance. +2 attack, -2 defense, +1 speed.

Grace: Will wake up next turn.
Max: 7 energy from Fire Blast, +1 evasion.

Action 2:

So the next action begins, and Blade is struggling here, as he can't work out what to do!!! It seems that his trainers commands were very confusing for him, as Max is neither attacking or protecting! Blitz on the other hand is not messing around, as he too Dances with Swords, building up his attack like his teammate Blade! But now it seems that Mienfoo is waking up, and everyone is dancing at the moment, and it is no different for Grace, as he does another Swords Dance. Max is last to move, and he uses Minimise, further boosting his evasion.

Blitz: 2 damage from burn, 7 energy from Swords Dance. +2 attack.
Blade: 2 damage from burn. +2 attack, -2 defense, +1 speed.

Grace: 7 energy from Swords Dance. +4 attack.
Max: 7 energy from Minimize. +3 evasion.

Action 3:

The final action of this turn begins, and Blade hits Grace hard with a super effective Psycho Cut! Blitz is next, and he tries to Crunch down hard on Max, despite all the evasion boosts! Max is ready though, and he Protects against the attack! It's now Mienfoo's turn to retaliate though, and he hits back hard with a Vital Throw!

Blitz: 2 damage from burn, 6 energy from Crunch. +2 attack.
Blade: 29 damage from Vital Throw, 2 damage from burn, 5 energy from Psycho Cut. +2 attack, -2 defense, +1 speed.

Grace: 15 damage from Psycho Cut, 4 energy from Vital Throw.
Max: 9 energy from Protect. +3 evasion.

Well actually, I just looked this up, and it says that in a double battle, you can't lower your partners stats to activate Defiant. Sorry! I'll edit it now...

EDIT: For reference, you can check here and I also confirmed this with the guys on IRC.

Grace, use Vital Throw on Blade, which should take it over the edge. If it doesn't, use Double Slap till it dies, and then direct the attacks to Blitz

Max, Ember should finish off Blitz. If it doesn't, keep using it then transfer all attacks to Blade

Alright, you guys have fought long and hard. Things are grim, but we may still be able to do it yet.

Blitz, use grasswhistle to sleep both your foes, starting with Grace! If needed, use all three actions to subdue her (provided you survive), and if you have any actions left, try to sleep Max. If you have reached some sleep limiter I'm not aware of, fire off a Leaf Storm at Grace, and if you're STILL alive, Crunch Max twice.

Blade, SUCKER PUNCH THAT MOFO (Max, I mean) 3x. KILL HIM.

Action 1:

So, it seems that the beginning of the end is upon us, and Blitz, who is on the verge of fainting, fires off most probably a final Grasswhistle! Unfortunately, it misses the target - Grace - and Grace proceeds to laugh at the poor Treeko. Blade is up next and he uses Sucker Punch, which heavily damages Max before Max himself makes an Ember, which KOs Blitz, putting him out of the match for good. Last but not least, Grace uses Vital Throw! This really puts Blade over the edge, and it faints him too!

Blitz: KOed
Blade: KOed

Grace: 4 energy from Vital Throw.
Max: 16 damage from Sucker Punch, 2 energy from Ember.

Ugh, those burns... Alright Edge, things seem grim, but we'll go down guns blazing!

Will-o-Wisp Grace for as long as you need to hit, then Calm Mind for your remaining actions! If Max uses Shadow Ball, immediately replace your action with Teleport once to dodge it.

A burn won't matter if we keep boosting...=)

Grace, Detect to troll it, then Swords Dance, then Stone Edge
Max, use Minimise, then Nightshade, then Minimise

Action 1:

Right, so with RitterCat in a great position here, playforkeeps sends out his last Pokemon, a Ralts with an attack boosting nature. Perhaps that will come in handy later, but I'm not sure about now! Edge goes out, and he attempts to use Will-O-Wisp on Grace, but luckily Grace Detects the attack, and he jumps out of the way just in time! Meanwhile, Max uses Minimize, making himself a bitch to hit.

Edge: 7 energy from Will-O-Wisp.

Grace: 7 energy from Detect. +2 attack.
Max: 7 energy from Minimize. +3 evasion.

Action 2:

Well, it seems like that was a waste of time for Edge, but Grace doesn't really care as she uses Swords Dance to boost up her attack once again! Wow, she looks really strong now! Edge decides to retaliate by using Will-O-Wisp once again, and it hits Grace dead on, giving her a second degree burn! Finally, Max is next, and he uses Night Shade on Edge, causing the little Ralts to become haunted and scared by the attack.

Edge: 10 damage from Night Shade, 10 energy from Will-O-Wisp.

Grace: 2 damage from second degree burn, 7 energy from Swords Dance. +4 attack.
Max: 6 energy from Night Shade. +3 evasion.

Action 3:

The final action begins, and Edge is almost doomed, as it can barely do anything to the two attackers that oppose him. Grace starts things off by attempting to smash Edge with a Stone Edge, but typically, it misses! Edge himself is up next, and he Calms his Mind to try and take some of the more special hits with more capability! Finally, Max is up once again, and being the cruel little fella that he is, he uses Minimize once again! Wow, that Max is soooo small, I can barely see him!

Edge: 6 energy from Calm Mind. +1 special attack, +1 special defense.

Grace: 2 damage from second degree burn, 8 energy from Stone Edge. +4 attack.
Max: 7 energy from Minimize. +5 evasion.
