A Pokemon Fighting Game

No, not Type Wild.

This was a little side project I'd worked on on and off for the past few years. It was never going to see the light of day, but I was egged to sort of wrap it up and release it as, and it's a pretty complete if not prettily packaged experience at this point.

So a standard retro fighting game with Fighters. Why is it incomplete? Note the poverty of stages, sounds, a decent arcade or training mode, and the absence of Meloetta in an otherwise all Fighter-type roster.

not too shabby! just looking at the youtube video at the moment, and so far, it looks pretty neat. the sprites look decent, and i'm really liking how you implement the sounds that you do have an infernape's awesome cry. the ability to change the colours of the sprites is pretty awesome, too.

i have a question, though - why does it need to be only fighting types? charizard isn't my favourite, but a lot of people love him to death, and i can't help but wonder why he would be a poor fighter. on a similar note, pokemon like, say, pikachu and sceptile and yadda yadda yadda.

looks pretty awesome so far, though.

Only Fighting Types makes sense for a Fighting Game, as cool as it might be to have some other dudes.

Looks nice! Not as pretty as your CAP Fighter but pretty sweet.

You know Cartoons, if you add Meloetta and Fighting Type Arceus that'd fill in the empty squares in the character select. Althought that's only because Tyrogue features as the only not-fully-evolved mon...

well, yes, but... the whole idea of pokemon is that they're all capable of fighting. plus, some would be really... awkward, don't you think? like fighting arceus and cobalion?
