A possible issue with Gliscor

Was just looking at the Gliscor b/w build page, no mention of Gengar as a very capable counter to all sets if running sub-disable - the most strongly advised if the order is hierarchical (which i think it is).

Gengar represents a very strong reason for ice fang over facade in cases where one might opt for facade just so that any damage at all can be done- running ice fang might eliminate the threat, or at least lessen it.

Taunt could pose a problem but would mean allowing at least a substitute- I dont know about how easily Gengar could KO with either STAB shadow ball or a fairly rare HP Ice but I guess someone here might.

I gather Gengar is till OU so thought this might be relevant, just because the word "Gengar" isn't mentioned anywhere on the page.

As a side note, the Gengar page suggests Leftovers as a hold item, why not Black Sludge? It does the same but if it is tricked off by some cunning player then the theft will be to their disadvantage instead of the opposite.

I expect I will be told I should have written this elsewhere or differently, sorry, I don't like the excess of formalities and am only making a passing comment, if my point is decent, someone who cares more can take it up.
Also, while I'm here, how do I change my signature? It's there for banality but I would like something else now... I went to my account but there was no edit button next to it...

thanks for the site, I disapprove of many of your ways but you lot are undeniably on the proverbial ball!
:)

We're in the process of updating the counters section for the OU analyses. This probably should have gone in the stickied thread, but thanks for the info

Ah, fair enough on the updates bit- shoddy stopped working for my macbook a while ago so I only pop on here when my breeding works out, never sure how new things are!

yeah, with an average of 0.03 posts/day I'm not too up on whereabouts and the likes, thanks for understanding- another thing, I wonder why Timid Gengar is opted for over Modest because the 10% speed diff doesnt seem to really do anything about scarfed and boosted opponents and a 10% dmg diff is pretty useful- this is a less-thought-through observation which I expect may easily be shot down :)

should I move the whole thing to the checks and counters place?

It allows it to beat Terrakion to the punch, and it Speed ties Lati@s. And I think a mod might move it or something.
