A Quick Comeback - My First (OU) Warstory

pretty cool story man. The comeback really was quick. I also like the idea of showing the opponents team at the bottom

I actually used SubPetayaEmpoleon once,and Scizor stopped my sweep every time. But personal expierences aside, it was a great warstory.

Scizor | Move | Quick Attack | 7.6

very few carry it, and if Empoleon has ONLY taken damage from SR + 3 Subs for the Petaya Boost, Max Attack CB BP cant KO from there, wheras QA from same Scizor will. So maybe its time to break out your old Empy again, since it should be easier for you since It doesnt seem like many Scizor can stop it anymore, although other Priority users like Lucario and stuff could. Oh, and thanks for the compliment :)

No, most of the time BP stopped my sweep. If you ever read that one story with Legacy Raider and the Empoleon sweep, you''l see that Empoleon can survive most EQ's. Even ones from Ttar and Swampert, but with only about 5% left. I think you know what happens next.

Empoleon only survived Tyranitar's EQ because it was Jolly without a Choice Band. From my experience it can't survive a Swampert's Earthquake because of STAB. Empoleon takes under 17% from a Scizor's Bullet Punch if I remember correctly.

This was a pretty good warstory. Your opponent definately seemed to overpredict a lot. Not the best battled but good comments made it fun to read!

Correst on that Emp only survived because the T-Tar was Jolly no boosting item, which only really ever happens on DDTars,

as we can see here, there are much more Adamant T-Tars then Jolly where Adamant would OHKO Emp. Also, if your going to bring out Empoleon to setup on a T-Tar like TvboyCanti did, you better be damn sure your opponants scizor is dead, or will die to SR + Spikes if any on the field when he comes in, because otherwise its really just not good at all.

Like i mentioned in the story, 12 Hp/12 Def Empoleon only takes >17% max from Scizors CB BP, which is not enough to KO after Empy has switched into SR once and subbed 3 times for Petaya, wheras in that same situation, QA will almost always KO.


Anyways, thanks for the comment Metanite, i agree with you that the battle wasnt the best, but i did put my full effort into the comments and its nice to get compliments on it :)
