Rejected A tcg mode

So, i have been really obsessed with pokemon tcg. Its really simple to learn, and fun for most audiences, so I would really love it when people can make decks consisting of pokemon cards (from gens 4-9), with energy cards, trainer cards, etc. Then they use those decks in tcg formats. These formats can range from the extended formats, to restrictions to using cards from a specific gen, to even 4 player formats. Just remember that Not every card has to be added, only the more important ones from each generation (again, gens 4-9), just so the devs can have an easier time.

Regardless of how many cards are/aren't added, this would be a massive undertaking, and also hugely deviate from the standard battle system (that we've intentionally avoiding disassociating from, as evidenced by Pokemon Legends games).
There are other higher-priority projects, such as Rotation Battles, that are also stalled due to other issues/time constraints.

Ultimately, this idea would just add more to the already overwhelming amount of things PS developers already have to do (in free time, without being paid), and also adds more to do for those involved in formats and tiering policy to determine what should and shouldn't be allowed, restrictions, availability, and more.

It is true what mathy and ifwih said, but you can still play TCG “on” PS, heres how:

I have been working on a PTCG & Pocket Simulator, it is now open for beta testing and is playable through a room bot in TCG & Tabletop room on PS.
Due to it being just a bot game, it has a lot of limitations so it lacks animations and accessibility but it works really good and games do finish.

I tried to add almost every card that is available in PTCG Standard and Pocket formats.
