24 Hour Bump Edit:
I wont lie... I write RMT's more to generate thought and discussion mostly for myself, but for other people as well than for my own team's self betterment (though it doesn't hurt). I feel that I am at the point of being able to make a fairly solid team and so I dont expect a ton of "Oh fix this" posts. I do ask one thing... If you view this post, just comment about something. I even tried to make this one pretty and eye grabbing, lol. Feedback is amazing if it helps, but to me, just the general discussion a RMT generates is invaluable to learning this game for everyone. I enjoyed educating and being educated through RMT's more than any other medium of learning the info needed to be competitive, and I'm sure other people do to as well. Some of the best information to be had about "tier tech" (pokes, ev's and/ or movesets effective in a tier whether or not commonly known... yes I just made that up on the spot, I know its corny) lies within older RMT's. So please just look for holes, be critical, and help me to think critically.
Hey guys,
The team Im about to show you is not particularly original. However, I wanted to do 2 things before Shaymin and Crobat leave UU tier
1) make a balanced team
2) make a team with both of them in it
I knew they had good synergy, so with what was little effort I threw together some pokes and tweaked it a little here and there. The team relies on prediction more than I'm used to, but then again offense doesn't come naturally to me... In testing I called this "Balanced Brokemons" simply because I enjoyed the paradox and I was running shaymin and crobat on the same team. Not too much more intro is necessary I figure. Again, this team was made basically because I had avoided using shaymin and crobat like the plague for a while and wanted to make a team with them before suspect voting. Also, while I really like the stall team I run, I get bored from using the same team over and over... Okay here we go:
CHANGES IN RED

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
THE LEAD
_________
__________
Crobat @ Leftovers
Jolly
252 Hp/ 40 Def./ 216 Spe.
Taunt
U-Turn
Roost
Brave Bird
- This Crobat ev set is my favorite of them all. Um... Not too much to say here. I had been running a MUCH bulkier Crobat, but I realized I didnt have a check on Espeon or Swellow as previously my Crobat could not outspeed them. I wanted a bulkier bat simply because its more helpful to this team with the extra Hp ev's. My physical wall isnt even a physical wall so I needed to cushion this problem, and this Crobat build goes a little way to help with physically oriented threats. He also counters Shaymin which the rest of my defensive core CAN NOT handle. The spe. ev's let me out speed every thing in UU minus max speed crobats and electrode, both of which I am not too troubled by. Giving U- Turn a go in an attempt to gain momentum. Toxic is nice, but Blaziken/ Milotic should be able to handle the common crobat switches just fine anyway.

Regirock @ Leftovers
Careful
252 Hp/ 106 Def./ 150 Sp. Def.
Stealth Rock
Thunder Wave
Stone Edge (kinda thinking of Rock Slide)
Earthquake
-This is my first out against the likes of Blaziken and Honchkrow. These Ev's allow me to never be 2HKO'd by any combination of attacks they have(crits not counting obviously). He is my answer to the opponents crobat as well and provides SR support... so needless to say he is very important to my team and is a cornerstone to my defensive core. Less of a physical wall and more of an all around sponge he can take several non boosted hits with relative ease, though he is not as much of a physical stop as I would like. Him surviving long enough to counter the threats he is meant to deal with often keeps me in the match. Thunderwave is essentially filler, as I really save regirock to deal with blaziken, honchkrow, and/or Crobat after I get up rocks but it looks good on paper. Steelix or Registeel seem to work better with Milotic defensivly, but Regirock got the nod since he is a check on Blaziken and can beat Crobat.
Milotic @ leftovers
Bold
252 Hp/ 220 Def./ 24 Spe./ 12 Sp. Def.
Rest
Sleep Talk
HP Electric
Surf
-this poke is simply amazing. She serves as the second sponge for this team. Physical waters dont pose too much of a threat. With this spread, without marvel scale, milotic takes about 43- 51 percent with focus punch from sub Azumarril. She can beat it, but she will not like me when shes finished. She was a rest talker, but then I was pretty vulnerable to CM missy and Espyjump. Hp electric helps with the water types that threaten Regirock. However, Gorebyss and Ludicolo are hard to stop... especially in the rain. Rain in general is not pleasant to combat with this team, but its not particularly common. The ev's allow me to outspeed the wall breaking version of blaziken as well as some other threats. Trying Sleep Talk again, after a conversation I had with someone... I came to realize haze is meh for me, and the immunity to toxic is welcomed as well as the Def. boost at a moments notice.

Shaymin @ Life Orb
Timid
252 Sp. Atk./ 252 Spe./ 4 Hp.
Synthesis
Hp Ice
Earth power
Seed Flare
- This is THE special sweeper. It is one of the most dominant forces in all of UU. This set it a bit of a departure from the air slash/ Hp ground or fire or whatever the Hp it normally runs. So far I have never had an instance where a speed tie would have won me a match, but I have killed several crobat so it is completly worth it in my eyes. Synthesis seemed more appropriate for this Shaymin as I lack a spinner and it does not have to switch out to heal. I changed back to Hp ice after reverting back to rest talk Milotic.
Blaziken @ Life Orb
Mild
68 Atk./ 252 Sp. Atk./ 188 Spe.
Vacuum Wave
Hp Grass
Fire Blast
Super Power
- So this is the sweeping version of Blaziken. I was apprehensive in using this thing in other teams for reasons unkown even to myself, I just didn't want to like this thing... OH BUT I DO NOW! Nothing new about this filthy cock, just complete and total raw power. Few pokemon can take 2 hits from this poke and live. After faster threats have been fleshed out and k.o.'d and slower bulkier threats have been weakened then he can come in and finish off a team easily. Hes basically a back up plan should Shaymin fail me. Really not particularly needed, but since he can K.O. such a large portion of the metagame I couldnt help but include him. I wanted him over Honchkrow as Honchkrow is weak to SR and I lack a spinner as well as most teams simply rely on one at most two special sponges and the most common ones are still hit for super effective damage so hes also a back up to kill a special wall for shaymin if need be. Should outspeed most opponent Blazikens should I need it to.

Mismagius @ Choice Specs
Timid
252 Spe./ 252 Sp. Atk./ 4 Hp.
Trick
Thunderbolt
Shadowball
Hp Fighting
-This missy was my attempt at removing Chansey as a potential threat early... then I remembered Chansey cant touch the normal CM variant, however threats to CM missy dont like having a choice scarf one bit so she often cripples an opponent anyway. So, generally since shaymin does of very good job of bringing out an opposing Chansey, I can then go straight to missy and trick the switch. Its the perfect plan! (kinda) the most commonly used trick specs pokes(Espeon and Missy are both K.O.'d by a shadow ball. Choice band/ scarf users given choice specs generally screws them over just the same(there are some exceptions) AND I can cripple something better a little later. Missy for me is just better than the espeon that previously occupied this spot... Sure I lose power and speed, but I still have enough speed to outpace most threats AND I get all the sexy immunities she has to offer giving her more oppurtunites to come in on more common pokes and get a trick off.
Final Thoughts
Lets talk about synergy... You want it? this team has it. Using the combo of Shaymin and Crobat plus Missy I can usually open up a shaymin sweep quite easily. Also, Since Blaziken is such a sick nasty wall breaker/ sweeper he serves as a very solid plan b for this team. Milotic and Regirock aren't exactly the best defensive core ever, but they usually last long enough to get the job done. And both cover some pretty important threats this team is faced with. I dont have much of an answer for rain beyond not letting it get set up... other than that Rain Sp. Sweeper pretty much sweep this team. Overall it has done well considering I set out to use certain pokes and kind of built the team around them. Like I said before, I really only made the team because I wanted a balanced team that used Crobat and Shaymin together before they are both gone from UU as I want to work on my offensive game. Its record is amazing... and I feel its pretty solid so long as I dont have to fight Rain Dance.
There you have it... The one thing about RMT's I dont like is the information I give to the community about my personal team, lol. They seem to lose effectiveness once posted. I thought this was merely coincidence until I started having people tell me they read about my team while we were playing. I cant help it, RMT's are a guilty pleasure of mine. There is just something about pissing away 4 or 5 hours of your life, especially when no one comments on the thing... lol. I seem to have bad luck with feedback as it were. I could do war stories, but that just isnt my cup of tea.
-I'm really only posting it from boredom, and I enjoy writing rmt's as a pass time.-
