A UU/NU Team to be used against OU.RMT

OU is becoming ever so bland and I figured I'd try to handicap myself a bit and run a weaker tiered pokemon team. This is a WI-FI team FYI.

Lets Get this underway.

Lopunny@Flame Orb 252 HP 252 Sp Timid

~Agility
~Baton Pass
~Switcheroo
~Magic Coat(Or maybe Substitute?)

Description:

My lead, I plan on using agility on anything I think will stealth rock then baton passing out to a pokemon who can either take the next attack very well or sweep the opponets lead in one hit. Switcheroo cripples Physical attackers with flame orb and robbing them of there item at the same time.Klutz prevents me from using held items so I can choose when to use it.Magic coat is up in the air she can reflect a hypnosis or something along those lines anyways it would work well against a toxic running Blissey.

Glaceon@Leftovers 252 SpA 252 Sp Modest

~Ice Beam

~Hidden Power(Fighting)

~Wish

~Fake Tears

Description:

Boasting 393 SpA My glaceon boasts a rather high SpA while retaining some bulk.My General plan is to switch him into something he kills and fake tears the Pokemon coming in setting them up for me to kill them. Ice beam and Hidden Power fighting have a rather good type coverage. And wish is always nice. With an agility or two I can pretty much sweep the opposing team, only concerns are bullet punch users and Blissey.

Gardevoir@Light Clay 252 Hp 252 SpA Calm

~Reflect
~Light screen
~Healing Wish
~ Psychic

Description:

My pride and joy.Gardevoir is obviously meant to set up a wall and then the other she can come in on fighting types espcially lucario and either do a bit of damage or force a switch giving me a chance to set a wall up.Healing wish is on here for late game when my attackers are on there last leg and are still useful.Trace allows we a way to heal her against Heatran,Jolteon, and Vaporeon.

Quagsire@Leftovers 252 Hp 252 Def Relaxed

~Earthquake

~Stone Edge

~Protect

~Toxic

Description:

My Defensive wall.He can switch in on a thunder or water attack with no damage what so ever.I'm very iffy about his move set while he can effectively kill anything with toxic I think I need a better move coverage.Any Suggestions?

Swellow@Toxic Orb 252 Atk 252 Spe

~Brave Bird
~Facade
~U-Turn
~Protect

Description:

A standard Toxic orb'd Swellow.Works pretty well with guts activated I'm effectively running 538 attack and 383 speed. He is a force to reckon with.Again all I really fear here is an ice shard.Damn those priority moves lolz.Anyways protect allows toxic to go off so that they can't status me otherwise or kill me.U-Turn is great. It allows me more survivability while still doing damage since toxic gradually builds up damage.Brave bird can OHKO many things at a pretty big cost.Gardevoir usually heals my swellow with Healing Wish.

Registeel@Leftovers(Maybe Expert Belt?) Impish 252 Hp 252 SpD

~Earthquake
~Explosion
~Ice Punch
~Stealth Rock

Description:

Usually switchs into something that it can resist and sets up stealth rock. Explosion is used to tackle a pretty hefty target I could not kill otherwise.Ice Punch is for a salamence/gyrados trying to come in and set up on me.Earthquake is always a good choich but maybe I should go with something else? This is my general wall he can pretty much come in on anything but a max attack Infernape's fire blitz or close combat.

I'm still new to this team and haven't learned the ins and outs yet any advice on movesets and replacements for pokemon I already have are welcomed.I currently have 3 of my pokemon weak to fighting type attacks which isn't good. Please rate!

There is absolutely no point to this, if you battle in OU make a team that can actually compete in it, if you're making an UU team, compete in UU, stop wasting our time.

If you were to post a list of OU threats and how this team deals with them, then this RMT would be more convincing. However, take it from someone who has tried to do the same thing, you absolutely need to have at least one OU/BL pokemon in there.

Sure, there are UU pokemon that work well in OU, but the variety in those UU pokemon is actually less than the variety in OU.

When I used Quagsire on my UU team I found that Curse was a really good way to go for him. Not sure if it would work as well in OU but I know that I pulled off some great sweeps with it. Just an idea.

Well my overall point is I do not want to use the same pomemon as everyone else because then it becomes pretty much the same few people every fight. And I also want to punish the people using these pokemon and pretty much having no imagination what so ever.

I know where you're coming from, I just posted a RMT with a similar intention. I like the team, it certainly has some potential to punish people who spam Scarfran and Scizor and the like.

Scizor 6-0's you, Lucario 6-0's you, Salamence 6-0's you, you can't handle a Rotom forme etc etc etc

RMT Rules said:
15. As a site dedicated to competitive battling, we request that your team is as competitive as possible within its given metagame. In-game teams, gimmick teams and teams that demonstrate a lack of understanding of the metagame will be closed. Battle Tower teams are permitted. "Theme Teams" are also OK as long as they demonstrate an understanding of the competitive metagame they are to be used in. This is completely up to the discretion of the mods.

Locked!

*hint* you're on the wrong website *hint*
