A winners Uber team

Hey guys how's it going?

This is my ubers team that has worked so well for me. It has won 2 tournaments on Pokemon Online and has been in about 3 semi-finals.

Without furthir ado, here is the first look:

In-depth analysis for each Pokemon:

Omega (Arecus-Ghost) @ Spooky Plate
Ability: Multitype
Nature: Timid
EVs: 252 HP/ 4 SpA/ 252 Spe
- Magic Coat
- Judgment
- Will-O-Wisp
- Flamethower

Ok, before you say "OMG ARCEUS NOOB" I'm only using Arceus to counter other Arceus - especially ExtremeKillers. In addition this thing is a fantastic lead. Magic Coat is the secret weapon against Stealth Rock users such as Groudon and Deoxys. Will-O-Wisp is important for taking on physical sweeper such as Arceus, Groudon and Zekrom. Judgment is to nail Psychic types such as Mewtwo and Deoxys and finally Flamethrower turns the tables on Sun users and hits Nattorei for an easy OHKO outside of Rain. To show how effective this is as a lead, here are the matchups:

Deoxys-S: To easy. Magic Coat any entry hazards sent this way or better yet - Taunt. Then Judgment to finish it off with good prediction
Nattorei: Magic coat again to avoid entry hazards and Leech Seed or just use Flamethrower to kill it
Groudon: Groudon is useless against Omega. Magic Coat the rocks and Will-O-Wisp so it can't even touch Omega. Then attack it with Sun boosed Flamethowers
Mewtwo: A smart Mewtwo would either attack Arceus or switch out, so Omega is going to attack back with Judgment
Giratina/-O: Hopefully Magic Coat back that Will-O-Wisp or just Judgment it to hell
Arceus: It always, always, ALWAYS sets up, but then I can burn it with Will-O-Wisp. Then it will set up some more until it's +6 but that's stupid because I have a Ditto
Kyogre: Not much Omega can do, so I'll just switch to either Nattorei or Palkia

Those are the most common leads in Uber. There are some other like Zekrom but that's self-explanatory

Krusher (Kyogre) @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Drizzle
Nature: Timid
EVs: 4 HP/ 252 SpA/ 252 Spe
- Water Spout
- Surf
- Ice Beam
- Thunder

The king of ubers is one of the best revenge killers. Equipped with a Choice Scarf it becomes fast and powerful. Water Spout does a truck load on full HP and hurts anything except maybe Nattorei, Palkia or Zekrom; but that's where Ice Beam and Thunder comes in. Ice Beam hits Zekrom on the switch and Thunder with perfect accuracy is a great answer to Palkia and opposing Kyogre. Surf is for when Kyogre is at less than 45% HP. Maybe not as hard as Hydro Pump but still very hard. Kyogre also has the all-important Drizzle. Drizzle allows Kyogre it-self to become more powerful, make Palkia a deadly sweeper and allow Nattorei to take Fire attacks. Kyogre can also take a hit from Groudon's Earthquake meaning it can easily win the weather war.

Space Bals (Palkia) @ Haban Berry
Ability: Pressure
Nature: Timid
EVs: 4 HP/ 252 SpA/ 252 Spe
- Spacial Rend
- Surf
- Thunder
- Fire Blast

Probably the most fearsome sweeper on this team. The secret to Palkia's success is Haban Berry; it lets Palkia survive and non-boosted Dragon attack so that means it can take a Spacial Rend from opposion Palkia and hit back with it's own Spacial Rend. If Palkia spams Surf all day in the Rain the opponent will think Palkia is running a Choice set (due to no recoil from no Life Orb) so then they'll switch into Nattorei and then Palkia will surprise it with a Fire Blast. Thunder is mainly to hit opposing Kyogre and other water types like the rare Manaphy and Kabutops (the para-hax is also nice).

Time Wizrd (Dialga) @ Leftovers
Ability: Pressure
Nature: Careful
EVs: 252 HP/ 4 Atk/ 252 SpD
- Bulk Up
- Rest
- Sleep Talk
- Outrage

The minute the opponent thinks Chansey, Blissey or Forretress - Dialga time. After 1 or 2 Bulk Up's the opponent will realize what a tough nut this is to crack. Even Groudon can't handle it after 3 Bulk Ups (imagine if Arceus succeded in burning it?). Because it cannot be Burned (Rest) or stalled out with heavy Defence (Bulk Uped Outrage) the only real answer to this thing is phazing with either Roar or Dragon Tail. Lugia will probably do this most but Dialga won't be leaving without hurting it with Outrage. Short story: This thing works 70% of the time, all the time.

Nattorei (Ferrothorn) @ Leftovers
Ability: Iron Barbs
Nature: Sassy
EVs: 252 HP/ 48 Atk/ 208 SpD
- Stealth Rock
- Leech Seed
- Thunder Wave
- Power Whip

Nattorei is the answer to many things. Non-specs Kyogre, Palkia (in rain), Zekrom and even stupid Arceus. It also lays down Stealth Rock which is very handy. Why not Spikes you ask? Well because Rocks is more important for Lugia and Ho-Oh and we can't always rely on Arceus to bounce back the rocks. Spikes is hardly necessary half the time anyway. Leech Seed makes Nattorei the most annoying Pokemon ever (besides Whimsicott) because so many Pokemon in Uber (Groudon, Kyogre, Lugia, Arceus) have huge HP so Nattorei will restore 3x the amout of Leftovers usually. Thunder Wave generally makes things like Choice Scarf Palkia useless and is really fantastic if it lands a TWave on the Mewtwo or Darkrai switch. Power Whip is just there to attack if Nattorei has nothing left to do.

Boggart (Ditto) @ Choice Scarf
Abilty: Imposter
Nature: Who gives a f**
EVs: 252 HP....
- Transform

Nicknamed Boggart because this is the thing you should fear most. I cannot emphasize how great this revenge killer is. It immediatly turns the tables on any boosting sweeper such as Mewtwo, Darkrai or Arceus. Especially Arceus because Ditto is guaranteed to use ExtremeSpeed first thanks to the Choice Scarf and if there's no Giratina around then it can sweep away with ExtremeSpeed of it's own, normally killing the entire team if one Pokemon is already down (5 PP remember). Ditto's IVs are set to Hidden Power Ice so when it transforms into Shaymin is gets HP Ice. Why Ice? Because it's the most reliable Hidden Power.

That's it. Hope you enjoyed it. Please leave any feedback. Would be much appreciated

I wouldn't recommend having your ghostceus without recover as a lead AND an ekiller check as most of the time it probably won't be healthy enough to check ekiller. Change your ghostceus to a bulky cm sweeper as it can 2hko ekiller with focus blast and also clean up midlategame. Your dialga can then run SR since ferro with no spikes is is wasting his potential in ubers as there are not many things which can KO it without being pissed off by twave/leech seed.

Ghost Arceus / Scarf Kyogre / Ferrothorn / BU Dialga / Ditto / Haban Palkia

This team is weak to, in order of importance -

Offensive Groudon - Ghost Arceus has no reliable recovery and boosted Earthquakes do a shitload to everything else.

Toxic Spikes - no spinner, 2/3 of your team are vulnerable to them.

Spikes - same deal, except everyone is vulnerable.

Shaymin-S - only thing faster is OHKOed. BU Dialga will get Leech Seed stalled.

Rayquaza - Kyogre can't revenge it and Ghost Arceus with a little residual is OHKOed by Outrage or V-Create. Haban Palkia can't take boosted Outrage. You can revenge kill it with Ditto but any set with V-Create can threaten everything without boosting.

Excadrill - both offensive sand versions and substitute bulky (can set up on burned Ferrothorn or BU Dialga) deal heavy damage with Earthquake.

Mamoswine - Earthquake u_u; good thing it can only come in on Dialga on a double switch or choice-locked Thunder.

First off, a lot of your problems can be solved by using CM Ghost Arceus with Recover, anti-lead sets are cool for surprise value but the opportunity cost is too high since Arceus is so valuable as a pseudo-tank and sweeper. Also how you left Dialga out of your common leads is beyond me, it doesn't care that much about burn and can attack you or set up Stealth Rock in your face, and seeing as you have no recovery Draco Meteor is going to do at least an irreversible 55-60% from SUPPORT Dialga, offensive variants will do over 70%.

Ghost Arceus
move 1: Judgment
move 2: Focus Blast
move 3: Recover
move 4: Calm Mind
item: Spooky Plate
ability: Multitype
nature: Timid
evs: 252 HP / 92 Def / 164 Spe

The EVs let you outspeed Lati@s and some are placed in Defense to help weather Outrages and such. Offensive Groudon is still a bit of a problem if it gets lucky, but with Ditto you'll never be swept by it. Excadrill and Mamoswine become a non-issue, unless Toxic Spikes are down.

Dialga should be changed to a Stealth Rock support version, so Ferrothorn can make use of Spikes and Ghost Arceus can be utilized as a spinblocker. Also with Roar it can deal with Shaymin-S and with Fire Blast can 2HKO Ferrothorn even in the rain.

Dialga
move 1: Draco Meteor
move 2: Fire Blast
move 3: Roar
move 4: Stealth Rock
item: Leftovers
ability: Pressure
nature: Modest
evs: 252 HP / 56 SpA / 200 SpD

Run speed creep taken out of SpD at your own discretion, Fire Blast + Draco Meteor KOs or severely wounds other Dialga.

Now, this team is already fairly solid with these two small changes, however, to better deal with Toxic Spikes I would have to recommend Tentacruel > Ditto, make Kyogre RestTalk, and make Palkia Choice Scarf. With RestTalk Kyogre becomes your status absorber and Darkrai check, Tentacruel absorbs Toxic Spikes and lays your own, abusing Ghost Arceus' excellent spinblocking capabilities even more. Choice Scarf Palkia can still safely revenge Rayquaza and a multitude of other threats, and with Ferrothorn can check all variants of Kyogre. This leaves you weaker to SmashPass as that is one of the greatest perks of Choice Scarf Ditto but SmashPass is a lot less common then Spikes or Toxic Spikes.

Here are the sets if you choose to use them.

Tentacruel
move 1: Toxic Spikes
move 2: Ice Beam
move 3: Scald
move 4: Rapid Spin
item: Leftovers
ability: Rain Dish
nature: Calm
evs: 252 HP / 32 Def / 224 SpD

Palkia
move 1: Hydro Pump
move 2: Spacial Rend
move 3: Thunder
move 4: Fire Blast
item: Choice Scarf
ability: Pressure
nature: Timid
evs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe

Kyogre
move 1: Scald
move 2: Roar
move 3: Rest
move 4: Sleep Talk
item: Leftovers
ability: Drizzle
nature: Calm
evs: 252 HP / 240 Def / 16 SpD

Keep in mind the last three Pokemon are OPTIONAL changes because they compromise too much of the original team, but it is the best solution to dealing with the huge hazard weak this team suffers from.

Good luck, cool team.
