Latios is here to drop a (Tinted Lens) Draco! Leveraging a solid Speed tier, high Special Attack, and the sheer power of its Draco Meteor, Latios finds itself as among the tier's most threatening wallbreakers, speeding past and OHKOing common threats like Ceruledge, Sandy Shocks, and Terrakion. Tinted Lens lets Latios blow through would-be checks like Empoleon and Heatran and make Scream Tail trying to switch in question its life decisions. Special walls like Blissey and RegenVest Manaphy and Primarina loathe Psyshock hitting their weaker Defense, and Luster Purge is a powerful STAB move that doesn't drop its Special Attack. Flip Turn allows Latios to form a potent VoltTurn core with threats like Roaring Moon and Zapdos, while Trick cripples opposing walls like Deoxys-D and RegenVest users. Latios synergizes excellently with wallbreakers like Garchomp and Iron Boulder, as Latios easily forces out physical walls like Pecharunt and Gholdengo while they shred through its checks like Hisuian Goodra and Scream Tail. Latios is relatively frail and entry hazard weak, so sturdy pivots and hazard removal like Empoleon and Corviknight are much appreciated.
