With access to Desolate Land, Moltres becomes the legendary bird it was meant to be! Desolate Land lets Moltres check Primarina and Ogerpon-W while preventing Swampert, Empoleon, and Primarina from pivoting with Flip Turn. Weather Ball is quite strong in sun and nails Primordial Sea users like Zapdos. U-turn lets Moltres pivot out of bad matchups against Roaring Moon, Bulletproof Iron Treads, and Well-Baked Body Gholdengo to bring in Pokemon like Zamazenta and Roaring Moon to threaten them. Will-O-Wisp burns common switch-ins like Roaring Moon, Ogerpon-W, and RegenVest Iron Hands, while Solar Beam heavily threatens would-be checks like RegenVest Swampert and Manaphy. 16 Speed EVs let Moltres outspeed maximum Speed Primarina, while the rest of the EVs are invested in HP and Defense to let Moltres more easily check threats like Great Tusk, Cinderace, and Ogerpon-H. Moltres is preferred on balance or bulky offense teams that appreciate its defensive prowess. Swampert checks common Electric-type threats like Zapdos and Sandy Shocks for Moltres, while it checks Grass-types like Meowscarada, Ogerpon-W, and Ogerpon-H for Swampert.

Weather Ball 2HKOes common threats like Scream Tail and Zamazenta, while invalidating Primordial Sea Zapdos and 2HKOing it as well You could probably shorten this down to just mention that it's a good STAB option that can also hit PrimSea users, STAB moves should normally not be mentioned but I think the PrimSea interaction is important enough to bypass that. Roost lets Moltres check threats like Great Tusk, Iron Moth, and Primarina long-term I'd elaborate a bit more on the defensive utility that DesoLand offers you (being able to block Flip Turns and switching into prim as you mentioned) and maybe skip this, Roost is a fairly straightforward move. U-turn lets Moltres pivot out of bad matchups against Pokemon such as Roaring Moon, Bulletproof Iron Treads, and Well-Baked Body Gholdengo It can also help pivot in wallbreakers on special walls, important to mention. Will-O-Wisp burns common switch-ins like Roaring Moon, Ogerpon-W, and RegenVest Iron Hands, while Solar Beam heavily threatens would-be checks like RegenVest Swampert and Manaphy. 16 Speed EVs let Moltres outspeed maximum Speed Primarina, while the rest of the EVs are invested in HP and Defense to let Moltres more easily check physically offensive threats like Great Tusk, Cinderace, and Ogerpon-H. I'd also mention a physical wall it pairs well with, you often don't run Moltres as your only physical wall due.
