Abbey Road

Changes in bold
Ok so once again I'm back with an RMT. This team has been rated before and polished and nitpicked till it shined. I made it centering around Tyranitar and how dangerous the Dragon Dance version is. So without further ado...

Up Close and Personal

@ Lum Berry *** Eleanor Rigby

Clear Body
252hp 240atk 18spd
Adamant nature (+atk -spA)
- Stealth Rock
- Meteor Mash
- Bullet Punch
- Explosion

Metagross has replaced Celebi. It's doing ok and getting rocks up every time. Considering replacing Lum with Occa.

121.png
@ Life Orb *** Hey Jude
Natural Cure
6hp 252spA 252spd
Timid nature (+spd -atk)
- Surf
- Thunderbolt
- Ice Beam
- Rapid Spin

Jude is a helpful spinner, status sponge, and sweeper. With his wonderful speed he can score KOs and spins. Starmie keeps my team going by removing hazards. Surf for STAB. Thunderbolt for coverage. Ice beam for coverage. Rapid spin for removing hazards.

@ Chesto Berry *** Yesterday

Swift Swim
144hp 162atk 164spd 40spD
Adamant nature (+atk -spA)
- Dragon Dance
- Rest
- Waterfall
- Outrage

Kingdra has replace gyarados and I'm not sad to see him gone. Rest-chesto set works beautifully getting at least 2 dds in every time.

@ Leftovers *** Let it Be
Sand Veil
6hp 252atk 252spd
Jolly nature (+spd -spA)
- Earthquake
- U-turn
- Toxic
- Roost

Standard wall breaking Gliscor except a little more dangerous. He really works well taking about blissey. And with sand going he's rather difficult to take down. Earthquake for STAB. U-turn for scouting. Toxic for status. Roost for recovery.

499.png
@ Choice Scarf *** Here Comes the Sun

Levitate
6hp 252spd 252spA
Timid nature (+spd -atk)
- Overheat
- Thunderbolt
- Hidden Power (Ice)
- Trick

Rotom-H has replaced Heatran. This is the replacement I'm most iffy about. Trick is a great way to cripple threats though.

248.png
@ Lum Berry *** Come Together
Sandstream
6hp 252atk 252spd
Jolly nature (+spd -spA)
- Dragon Dance
- Crunch
- Stone Edge
- Earthquake

Tyranitar is name after, in my opinion, the best song the Beatles made. My team came together under tyranitar. With his great attack and nice defenses he is a force to be reckoned with. A tyranitar with a dragon dance under his belt is very difficult to stop. After my opponents team is all damaged and hurt from the earlier pokes tyranitar comes along to pick up the pieces. Lum berry allows me to set up on status pokes or add longevity to my sweep. Dragon dance for set up. Crunch for STAB. Stone edge for STAB. Earthquake for coverage.

That's all folks. Please rate and comment.

Threats
Dragon Dance Gyarados
Dragon Dance Dragonite
Dragon Dance Kingdra
Offensive Suicune
Life Orb Shaymin
Mixed Flygon/Mixed Dragonite
Lack of a Rock-resist (CB tar and all other versions will be very troublesome)
Lead machamp (to an extent)

Hey, it looks like you've got Stall covered real well between Starmie+Gliscor+Gyarados, but the problem is Offense, that commonly runs the listed threats. Dragon dancers in general will find set up opportunities on Heatran and Celebi after Leaf Storm's recoil. Although Gliscor does carry Taunt, Kingdra and Gyarados could threaten it with Waterfall causing you to switch allow them a boost. Offensive Suicune and Shaymin can come in on resisted hits, or after a teammate of their's goes down, and wreck havoc with Calm Minded Ice Beams (which Celebi can't even take thanks to -Sdef nature) Hidden Power electric and Hydro Pump, while the latter can hit every member very hard between Seed Flare/HP Ice/Earth Power, though you could revenge with Heatran, you must predict very well to not come in on an Earth Power. Mixed Flygon/Nite can also be hard to face by coming in on Heatran's Earth power, or Gliscor's earthquake. From there they could fire off threatening Draco meteor, Super Power, Earthquake, and Fire Blast. Finally the gapping Rock weakness will mean Tyranitar can just continually fire Stone Edge, denting something incredibly hard, or even netting a kill in the process. Lead Machamps can also be troubling, causing you to reveal half of your team to the opponent just to kill off a lead

Currently I think Heatran is the weakest link to the team, and I have a better revenge killer in mind. Heatran basically invites the aforementioned threats to set up, while it can't always revenge them when it comes back. I think Scarf Rotom-W will handle a lot of your problems; The common dragon dancers will be handled between Thunderbolt+Trick+Hidden Power Ice (Kingdra with trick). Scarf Rotom also gives you something to fall back on when when facing Shaymin, and you could give it Overheat for that. Try a simple 252 Satk/4 HP/252 Spe set with Thunderbolt/Trick/Overheat/Hidden power Ice and a Choice scarf. Tyranitar may be able to handle Rotom, but then if it does successfully Pursuit it death, then it will open up an ample opportunity for your own Tyranitar to set up and sweep. Besides Gliscor and Gyarados (not on a stone edge) can handle Tyranitar locked into Earthquake or Pursuit reasonably well, now for Stone Edge tyranitar, Lead Champ, Dragon Resist and Rock resist. Try a standard Lum berry Metagross over Celebi. This handles all of the problems listed; gives you a solid switch in to Stone Edge, Dragon attacks, beats machamps leads, and handles Stone Edge Tyranitar very well and scares it away with Meteor Mash. Try a simple 252 HP/240 Atk/12 Spe, Adamant Nature Meteor Mash|Bullet Punch|Explosion|Stealth Rock with a lum berry. This will give you a much better way to dealing with Outraging Kingdra/Flygon/Dragonite better than Heatran, because of Metagross' superior defensive bulk, and HP Investment (I think Heatran is 2HKOed by +1 outrage from Dragonite and Kingdra after SR).

Also, scarfing Rotom-A doesn't quite mean it can switch into Suicune's boosted Ice Beam or Hydro Pump. So it may be wise to test out Chesto Rest Kingdra found here. I think Gyarados' bulk is unneeded now, since all the threats it checks, are already checked by other members (Lucario by Gliscor, Infernape by Starmie), also Kingdra is a great way to handle Bulky teams fine, just as Gyarados did with taunt+ DD. Kingdra on the other hand uses its invested bulky to set up on a number of bulky Pokemon, and Offensive +1 Suicune. You set up on its boosted Ice Beams, rest off the damage and sweep.

Solid Tyranitar team, and GL!
