About the Threat List

I´ve seen the threat list that everybody uses in the RMTs: Tyranitar, Gyarados, Infernape, Azelf, Rhyperior, Electivire, Heracross, Salamence, Togekiss, Gengar, Garchomp, Raikou, Lucario, Rampardos, Tauros, Starmie, Weavile, Dugtrio, Alakazam, PorygonZ, Medicham, Staraptor, Slowbro, Jolteon, Aerodactyl, Snorlax, Zapdos, Blissey, Suicune, Sceptile, Slaking, Ninjask, Metagross, Celebi, Jirachi, Manaphy

But I think you´re forgeting a lot of very used defensive Pokemon (Cresselia, Milotic, Skarmory, Gliscor, Bronzorg, Swampert, Dusknoir).

What do you think about the actual threat list? Is some Pokemon missed like Dusknoir?

PD: Now that Pearl and Diamond are in USA, can a Tier List be well done?

The games just came out. Some people haven't even gotten through the Elite Four, and many are probably building teams right now. A Tier list is incredibly premature at the moment.

Defensive pokemon arent listed because they arent really threats.

The point of the threat list is to stop people posting teams that would be easily swept by standard pokemon. Since the pokemon you listed are extremely unlikely to sweep even if your opponent has no specific counters to them, there is no need for them to be on the list.

And as for a tier list, the metagame is still too new.. I have never used any dp pokemon at all, so I dont see how I could call anything overused.

Have a nice day.
