As the title suggest, it's gonna be about the pokemon Absol.

Type:Dark
Stats: 65/130/60/75/60/75
Abilities:
Pressure: When this Pokémon is hit by a move, the opponent’s PP lowers by 2 rather than 1.
Super Luck: Raises the critical-hit ratio of moves. move, the opponent’s PP lowers by 2 rather than 1.
Hidden Ability:
Justified: Attack is raised by one stage when the Pokémon is hit by a Dark-type move

Overview:
While it's a bit too frail to function well in higher tiers, Absol has cemented itself as one of the best Dark-types and overall offensive Pokemon in RU, and it's not hard to see why. Absol is well-known for possessing what is bar none the most powerful priority move in the entire game in the form of its STAB Sucker Punch.

Absol @ Scope Lens
Ability: Super Luck
EVs: 252 Atk / 252 Spe / 4 HP
Nature: Jolly

Moves:
Night Slash
Psycho Cut
Sucker Punch
Stone Edge/Swords Dance

With Scope Lens increasing it's crit ratio by 1stage and having the ability Super Luck, using any moves with a +1 crit rate makes it a 100% critical hit. With a boasting 130 base attack stats and a STAB 100% crit rate Night Slash, it breaks through most walls if unresisted. Works well if sticky web is in play as Absol isn't the fastest mon and is easily check with a priority Mach Punch.

They belong in the same thread, and Absol is not viable. Mega Absol just has a small niche allowing its use in OU.
 
1. Normal Absol is not viable in the OU metagame.
2. Even if you were to create a thread about just normal Absol, it should be locked anyway. The first Absol thread covers both the mega and the normal.
 
I kinda like the idea of 100% crit. ratio. That's actually kinda good. Sadly, it's on Absol. Regular, non-mega Absol has no chance in OU. Its frailty, combined with below-average speed makes it nearly impossible to use. However, I would honestly like to try this in UU (since Absol was banned from RU. Please Smogon, ban the items, not the Pokemon.). It's probably gonna be terrible, but if this thread is still up by the time my testing is finished, I'll get back to you.
 
Should this be brought back up again since Absol now has access to the combination of Play Rough + Knock Off and Superpower? Seems a pretty decent gain.
