I've played lots of pokemon, and I know how angry and salty I can get when things don't go my way and/or when my opponent is being mean. I've also played a little bit of chess on sites with similar functions to this one, and many chess sites incorporate a "zen mode" feature where all chat is hidden, the opponent's name is hidden, and also the rating of both players. I feel like something like this would fit in on showdown since showdown is similar to other sites.

- this would hide the name of the opponent or change it to something generic like "opponent"
- The text that scrolls on the right side of the screen would change the name of the opponent to "opponent"
- This would mute all chats and lobbies.
- The text that appears at the end of the game that tells you the ladder and rating changes would change to something like "ladder hidden; use "/zm off" to show the ladder.
