Good morning Smogon, here I present what I feel is one of the best teams I've created, as it is able to utilize a number of strategies against the opposition, be it trapping, set-up, or good old-fashioned bulky offense.
These team is built around a core of lures and trappers who pin the enemy in a helpless position by removing their would-be counters to my Pokemon, then attacking with those Pokemon. I've been using this team on and off for about two weeks, and every other team I've tried has paled in comparison.
It all started when I revisited one of my forgotten teams and updated it accordingly. So far the result has proven to be more than successful, but it still has some areas that could be better.
Some fun facts:
-3 resist Stealth Rock, 1 weak, 2 neutral
-0 weak to Pursuit
-4 immune to Sandstorm
-5 immune to Toxic Spikes
-3 immune to Spikes

Gyarados, @Lum Berry

-Dragon Dance
-Taunt
BulkyDos, except here he sees use as a lead. His goal is to Taunt slower leads such as Swampert and Hippowdon, and lure in stuff like Starmie or Gengar for Pursuiting. Intimidate and Taunt screw over Baton Pass leads, as well as stuff like Swampert. The Lum Berry gives me one time relief to ever present sleep-inducing leads, but one is all it takes because I always Taunt the first turn against sleepers. From there, I can set up early or bring in Snorlax on the switch-in, who is usually weak to Pursuit. Gyarados usually stays alive a while, so he makes a good wall-breaker as the match goes on, and a good check to pesky stuff like Infernape.
Waterfall as it SRs and bring in Jirachi on the Explosion.
Most carry Ice Punch now, so it probably won't stay in. If it does, I Waterfall for the 3HKO. I will always get two Waterfalls off thanks to Lum.
Waterfall brings it to its Sash, then Flygon finishes with U-turn.
Taunt, bring in Gliscor because it will probably switch and I don't want to show Magnezone too early.
gets raped.
It probably wants to Trick, so I send in Flygon and they swap Scarves.
Waterfall.
Lum cures me of Sleep, I Taunt, it might stay in and dish out Leaf Storm so I bring Jirachi to be safe.
It's probably faster, so I 2HKO with Waterfall.
Have fun with Taunt and Intimidate.

-Thunder Punch
I played around with this slot for a while. I tried Gengar and Starmie, but using a revenge killer weak to Pursuit proved to be beyond retarded, as it would only get one kill, if that. Then Flygon dawned on me, and he has done very well. Outrage and Thunder Punch keep Dragon Dancers under control, but I've given some thought to using a Jolly Nature, as that could prove to be what prevents a Jolly DD'd Kingdra from raping me. Incidentally, however, BulkyDos will have an alarming chance to survive Thunder Punch because of the Atk drop, then continue to ravage my team. U-turn works great in conjuction with my trappers, since the most common Flygon counter these days is Skarmory.
Snorlax, @Choice Band

Of all the Pokemon who have come and gone over the years, Snorlax has stood the test of time. He was damn close to Uber those first two generations, and at the fourth he still stands as solid OU. Snorlax is truly a nightmare for a Scarfed revenger trying to KO my Gyarados. He also destroys all common Calm Minders I can think of, bar CroCune. Crunch hits the Pursuit bait that has already seen Pursuit and doesn't want to switch, but I've given thought to Fire Punch to nail incoming Scizors. 4 Spd EVs and I beat other Snorlax.
I've given thought to replacing Snorlax with Tyranitar, but I haven't becase the Sandstorm is very annoying for Gyarados, and a few people have been using those damn Aura Sphere Raikous. And Snorlax has a much easier time switching in on Starmie and Gengar.

"Dammit, my Gengar got Pursuited, I know, I'll stack Spikes against the bastard! Go Skarmory!" is the mindset behind this thing. In a metagame overflowing with Steels, Magnezone has become a staple of mine. Hidden Power Fire allows for a convenient OHKO on Forretress and Scizor, while Magnet Rise ruins Metagross and Bronzong. Skarmory has an easy time switching on Snorlax and Flygon, but a tough time switching out of Magnezone. If Heatran gets locked into a Hidden Power or Dragon Pulse, it's game too.
The EVs produce 239 Speed, one point dropped for Hidden Power Fire, which mean I tie with an Adamant 252 Spd Metagross, however few enough run that much Speed so I'll be safe. It also helps against other Magnezone, who has gained a lot of popularity ever since that damn issue of "The Smog" came out.

Jirachi is a double threat as a special wall and special set-up. I usually have good luck when I use Calm Minders, and this thing has been no exception. With all the SubSplit Gengars and Celebis running amok, Jirachi handily sets up on them and manages a few KOs. It's pretty funny when a Magnezone tries to trap me and becomes set-up fodder.
Grass Knot is an odd choice for a second attack, but I have Magnezone and Flygon dishing out Electric attacks and diddly shit to hit Swampert, so Grass Knot seems the superior option.
The EVs soften special hits just enough so that Jirachi can switch in on solid special attacks and start safely Calm Minding.
Gliscor, @Leftovers

Gliscor is the best (only?) Lucario counter in OU, as well as a buffer against all Fightings not packing Ice Punch. Stealth Rock is an asset to every team, and Gliscor's typing is a lure to bulky Waters, on which Jirachi will set-up. Gliscor also draws in special sweepers for Snorlax to Pursuit, and serves as general physical wall for the odd AgiliGross or DD'd Tyranitar.

And that's my team. I've gone through hell and back writing this; just about everything you have read was written two or three times because my computer's a piece of junk. Anyway, let me know any ways you can think that would make this team more effective.Thanks. Rate, hate, and steal.
