I read some posts in the thread and I’m gonna be real here, I get where the newbies are coming from. I established adpl with the basis of giving complete nobodies a chance but I get why it’s not being done anymore. I don’t really disagree with managers and their drafts but atleast the undrafted rule is still there which definitely puts in 16 newbies onto teams if they haven’t gotten in.
I also read that stuff like mushi league etc are better for newer players which I agree with now. An advice to newer players, if you want to get drafted and also make a name, do well in individuals as those are real tours. Indivs matter more than anything and I’m sure if you get good runs you get noticed by managers automatically and then you constantly get drafted for everything. I wish I could be more involved in adpl like how I was before but sadly I just cannot do this anymore. I have moved forward in my life and Pokemon has become the least important thing in my life.
However, a note to all newer players, if you want honest advice and feedback , just feel free to reach out to me on cord, I may respond late but I can help clear doubts and help with advice.
Good luck to all teams in adpl this year and may this tour go well. S/O to the hosts for doing an incredible job with the auction and starting the tour. Let’s end this season well now.
