ALTPL was a lot of fun, going 5-2 and winning the tour. built a few new teams with
Stox which I wanna share:
W2 vs Larry

We didn't think Larry was very familiar with this tier, and so wouldn't bring anything too crazy. We wanted to do the same and bring a pretty standard double water + para team. Octillery is an awesome double water lead, and starts para off. Sub Wail is something gaining popularity which can claim multiple kills once the opps grass is weakened / para'd (which Octillery should ensure). Bellossom + Metang as a defensive core covers most major stuff, and CM Chime + BU Chan are both insane wincons especially with some para around. Game plays out p much as expected with Octillery breaking Rose + Wail, then cleaning up later.
Semis vs Mint Yerb

The scout for this game was lacking grounds and made Plusle look insanely good. I wanted to tun Plusle + Magnet Haunter as these two would be able to break through the spdef walls used to check electrics rather than ground types. The scout was more Roselia heavy than Bellossom, but in game ended up facing Bello which was harder to break. SubToxic Haunter with Leftovers would have been a good option to break this mon and I would probably run that > Magnet. Torkoal also looked really nice into their scout with several key targets like Flareon, and Toxic paired well with Protect Chimecho. Metang was feeling almost mandatory at this point and ended up being really important this game vs CB Pidge and Golbat. Wanted Dewgong as a faster water with no para on this team and no priority either, and fast Encore (along with Plusle Encore) slowing down opposing Chimecho
Finals vs Oathkeeper

Having stalled Oath W1 I knew I couldn't bring it again (as tempting as it was) since DDJoe would be prepping well enough against it. Looking at my own scout we hadn't touched a single bird all tournament, so it felt like this was a good time to go for it. I went through a few versions of this, and CB Murk + Lickitung is another option here over Pidge and Kecleon. The basic approach was to start with CB Pidge + Curse Golbat + Spikes Cac, as the pressure from these three should overwhelm Metang / Sableye. From there we needed to handle Electrics and Haunter, as well as checking waters and opposing birds / rat. Metang + Kecleon covers most of this while also giving a good Sleep absorber. Waters are still a little scary, especially Octillery, so I wanted to lead bulky Plusle to not give up any room to them. SubPass into Cacturne or Golbat is also powerful early game to either get Spikes or just start breaking. Team plays pretty simply - get spikes, break with golbat, win with Pidgeot. The game played out pretty much as expected as well.
Other stuff were just small edits to existing teams so not gonna post and claim as our own.
I enjoyed ADV NU a lot this tour, and definitely found building more interesting now post-Glalie. The spikers are all kind of bad, so you have to make an actual tradeoff to use Spikes which is good since they are crazy broken. Using Cacturne or Roselia means you can't run Bellossom which just checks so much by itself, and Pineco / Omanyte are really really underwhelming. This makes building a lot more interesting and also makes Spikes weaks mons much more reliable. SpDef walls can switch into Haunter much more easily and Metang / Sab can more consistently handle the normals / birds. It's nice to see the tier developing further and looking forward to ADVPL!
