S rank:

All pretty clearly defining Pokemon in the tier, though Haunter was on the precipice of A+. Hitmonchan unanimously was voted to S, pretty easy to see why with how versatile and consistent it is, and teams typically need at least two checks to it to feel safe. Chimecho and Bellossom are cornerstone defensive pieces in the metagame, with Chimecho doubling as arguably the best sweeper and Bellossom basically taking Glalie's role of the "I will end your special attackers' hopes and dreams" Pokemon.
birds:

Basically their rankings were based on their defensive utility in large part. Golbat is a great Hitmonchan check and also switches into other Poison-types + Bellossom quite well. Pidgeot is at least immune to Hidden Power Ghost and can check Chimecho in a pinch, but arguably its best trait relative to its competition is its base 91 Speed. It gets the jump on quite a few key attackers, which means a lot. Murkrow comes in last but blanks Chimecho's Psychic entirely and cannot be put to sleep. It also has the most spammable STAB move of them all in Drill Peck and similarly has a slightly better Speed tier than Golbat. But, it's really fucking frail and most vulnerable to priority out of any of them.

Raticate isn't a bird but fuck it I'll mention it here. Raticate offers about nothing defensively, and in a tier that has slowed down a bit its speed advantage is no longer that huge of a benefit. It is still great at owning some blanket physical walls like Pelipper and Chimecho with its strong Choice Band Double-Edge, but the birds are not much far behind it in that role. It's still a fine option but far from defining.
spikers:

Spikes in ADV are amazing even when the setters are poverty, but in this early VR update, there's still some disagreement on just how highly to rate them. Cacturne is pretty clearly the best of the worst, with its strong offenses being a major reason why. It mogs Hitmonchan with HP Flying and can tech HP Psychic if it so pleases to troll the Poison-types. Pineco and Roselia were tiered pretty similarly, though Pineco got more favorable votes overall. Basically it just amounted to compressing spin + removal into one and it using defensive Metang as Spikes fodder. Roselia meanwhile just remains The Best Spiker In ADV NU despite what this VR tells you (please don't make me update the analysis), and it's just generally a fine Pokemon to use. The biggest indictment against it is probably the direct competition with Bellossom, which limits its overall use cases. Omanyte is dreadful and only got ranked as highly as it did because of Spikes. It's ok at getting layers against the birds, but frankly you get caught by HP Ground once and you're fried for the rest of the battle.
trapping:

You may notice Trapinch went from UR to B! In a slower metagame, Trapinch's more reliable trapping of bulky foes like Torkoal and Metang plus retaining the Flareon KO is pretty real. Diglett's speed remains relevant because Pikachu can be annoying, but the gap between them is no longer that large.
waters:

Dewgong and Wailord are pretty clearly the two best Water-types because they blend offensive and defensive capabilities better than the others. Dewgong remains a bit awkward to build with but has a very high offensive ceiling as a trade-off--STAB Ice Beam is just really good especially with Bellossom dominating. Octillery continues being a great offensive option with some decent bulk and utility via Thunder Wave, and Bellossom's rise in some ways helps it because 1) Fire Blast is actually kind of annoying especially with Spikes + paralysis being in play, and 2) Bellossom can be an Octillery teammate and make up for its lacking defensive traits. Pelipper is still good especially in a Hitmonchan-centric tier, but its falloff has continued and probably worsened post-Glalie, since Glalie was actually a pretty free matchup for Substitute sets. Huntail is frankly a bit bad now. Rain Dance is still a spooky late-game sweeper and it's maybe the most straightforward sweeper to support in the metagame, but Bellossom > Glalie makes it harder because you can't just Pump through it.
new additions:

idt there were any other new ones? Shedinja is just a bit more viable with Spikes not being on literally every team now, and Wartortle is a very real stall pick with Rapid Spin.
removals:

The BP-based removals are pretty obvious. Abra is one that just hasn't been used successfully recently, being limited to Psychic "spam". Magby was like half ok in the Glalie metagame and lost its biggest niche. Mightyena is honestly a surprising one to me, but frankly no one uses it outside of like two people. It's a good Chimecho + Haunter check tho and Heal Bell is nice. Shelgon is ass. Togetic got her lunch stolen by Dunsparce.
