Hello everyone and welcome to my exciting beginning into the world of UU!
I will admit I've done nothing but fight in OU and lately although I may have solid teams and deadly pokes, I've been losing interest in the standards lately. I use to post in OU all the time but now I *need a change. I've decided to try something fun that allows me to use some of my favorite pokemon that I wouldn't dare to use in OU. I've done a lot of consideration and sine my playstyle is highly offensive I hope to get some suggestions to get me ready to try the world of UU so let's go look at the team!

Ever since diamond and pearl came out torterra has been my favorite grass type of all time, a spot that competes only with the new ferrothorn. When I looked at the list of uu pokemon and saw torterra a light went off. I use ferro on my ou team why not use the tortoise on my uu team? For the evs I took a little away from speed for hp. The poor guy is slow and I'm ok with that so as a tank I want more health an worry about speed for my other team members. Leech seed and stealth rock are my fav entry hazards. Eq and wood hammer are excellent stab and I wanted some raw power to fight off electric types and wood hammer for milotic especially, I've always hate milotic, and just because I've changed tiers doesn't mean my hatred has changed.

Rapid spin
Ice beam

Roar
Blastoise was included because I wanted a rapid spinner an a phazer. Having blastoise around helps me check other entry hazard guys. Roar was added to rack up hazard damage and to stop setup mons that use swords dance and such. Ice beam lets me handle the inevitable birds that I've seen in this area and scald can give me burn assistance.

Even before I found my way to UU raikou has been my favorite electric legendary. I'm more of a cat person as well and the other two beasts that he forms a legendary trio with look like dogs, maybe entei is a lion? Either way when I used raikou for in game purposes I ran roar and thunderwave to use him for utility and phaze. But after reading so many articles and team builds I decided to use raikou the righty way. What I love best is that although this is a standard set raikou only needs one calm mind to start causing trouble. Hp ice comes natural I suppose but my intentions for it is so that if dugtrio comes sneaking around I won't be entirely helpless! Tbolt was considered with voltswitch for a short time simply because I love uturn effects buy I chose good stab and aura sphere now added for better coverage. I must add though I put the last Evs in defense rather than special defense. I'm thinking a lot of stab eq's and other physical fighters will be aiming to hurt the tiger so this is just my preference. I'm also considering modest over timid bc although I like speed I like raw power more.

V create
Brick break
Trick room
Fusion bolt
Victini was taken under advisement after I realized I did have quite a few slow pokes. This variant works like OU's trick room reuniclus, netting me some time to abuse my slow speed and adding more variety to the team. Especially since victini carries both brick break and fusion bolt for type coverage and v create I have heard is quite monstrous.
Leftovers
Timid

Hidden power fighting
Nasty plot
Substitute
Shadow ball
Now here is another chance for me to be excited about UU, mismagius! Along with torterra came a devlish little ghost that I fell in love with. However I've never used her in any competitive standing. But I know enough about her strengths to know if I'm going into UU I won't go without her! Her set has now changed to abuse uxies screens with np and substitute and now acts as my special sweeper!

After looking at my team I noticed i have a ton of speedy offense. At first this spot belonged to dugtrio. In ou I use pursuit a lot and I like being able to trap unsuspecting pokes. But I decided that the one thing I've always wanted to use in ou was a dual screener but just never found time for it. So now as I begin my adventure into UU I thought it was time to try it. This is a standard set that I like considering uturn is a favorite of mine. Reflect and light screen give me piece of mind to let my tanks and sweepers fight longer. Heal bell is now here for extra insurance agaisnt status problems which I do not want running rampant.

So there we have it, my first attempt at UU. I really like the fun factor in this format, I know I've always done ou but there's only so many times I can *see a tyranitar before I simply turn off my game and just give up. I feel that even if this team has some fixing to do, I've had more fun building in UU style than in ou. I'm really excited to start battling in this setting so I hope my first team will do well!
Threatlist
Moltres: I know he's top dog here so I need uxie to cut it's power and raikou to smash it.
Donphan: not lettin him spin away my hard work, go torterra!
Spiritomb: he's high on defense but I won't let him scare me. Need to be careful with mismagius and moltres.
Dugtrio: I've done my best to give the team hp ice, grass, and whatnot to punish him for trying to trap.
More threats to come as folks educate me about UU!
