Usually, I wouldn't talk about my team unless on the server. But I'll make an exception for this case because I advise the next ADVPL hosts to include THE_CHUNGLER and JoJ as next year's managers if they wish to continue. Both of them had not only a powerful draft, but had some of the most unique team environments I've been on Smogon. Everyone had their personalities shine bright as the sun, and it felt like another strong friend group I could enjoy talking to daily. Which is why it's tragic to lose out in semis, because I wanted to continue for a week more of this good vibes from this team.
As for a bit more personal, I wish I were more active in the server, because I've had a lackluster activity in team tournaments in 2026 at the moment. I know I have an excuse because of the priorities of the university, but it saddens me a little that I cannot put in the effort. I've also been in playoffs/finals in all of these team tournaments I've been at, and have yet to win one. This is most likely my fault for listening to ABBA - The Winner Takes It All, for that song is addictively good, but a curse whenever I'm close to winning. Regardless, losing when we are close sucks when it happens in a row, especially in a team I enjoyed way too well. Only one more chance to win a team tournament for me, I'll say on that.
With that said, thanks to both managers again for respecting my demands and time. It could have gone wrong in the middle of the week, but thankfully, it didn't happen, so things went out smoothly with no problems. I loved everyone on the team server, but I'll have to give some extra credit to mayo Zcarlett LHF, and Spreek for making the whole journey a unique one. Wish you and everyone else on the team to get what you guys deserve eventually on this site<3
