- Aegislash enters the field in its Shield form, which means it preemptively opens with its offensive stats being inverted and its Defense and Special Defense at a base stat of 140. This is important as it allows Aegislash to safely switch in and check offensive Pokemon like Clefable, Conkeldurr, and Rotom-C before dishing out any damage in its Blade form.
