[SET COMMENTS]
Moves
========

* Aerial Ace is Aerodactyl's main attack that benefits from Tough Claws.
* Stone Edge is Aerodactyl's main powerful attack. It can deal alot of damage to anything that doesnt resist it.
* Ice Fang is Aerodactyl's main coverage move. It can deal with Grass and Ground types like Venusaur and Landorus-T that wall Aerodactyl.
* Aqua Tail benefits from Aerodactyl's ability Tough Claws boosting the power to boosting the bp to 120 from 90 bp. It should be used to take down Rock and Ground types, such as Tyranitar, Mamoswine and opposing Aerodactyl, that otherwise wall Aerodactyl.
* Earthquake is an also a powerful attack that should be used combined with Ice Fang as it can cover most of Aerodactyl's weaknesses . It can deal with Electric and Steel types, such Xurkitree, Tapu Koko and Magnezone that otherwise threat Aerodactyl.
* Fire Fang is a move that also benefits from Tough Claws and should be combined with Aqua Tail to cover Aerodactyl weaknesses. Its main use should be to take out Steel, Grass and Ice types, like Bisharp, Ferrothorn and Weavile that may trouble Aerodactyl and/or the rest of the team.
========

* 252 Evs in Speed and Jolly nature are needed in order so Aerodactyl can outspeed most of the pokemon it the tier.
* 252 Evs in Attack are used in order for Aerodactyl to make full use out of his physical Attack.

Usage Tips
========

* Mega Aerodactyl's main perpose is to sweep as many pokemon as possible in a small period of time.
* He is also a viable Chansey killer that otherwise may wall the rest of your team.
* He can take care of Ferrothorn and other physical bulky pokemon with ease.
* He should be used as a late game sweeper when Water, Electric, Rock and Ice types get taken care of.

Team Options
========

* Magnezone is a great teammate as he can trap opposing Steel types like Excadrill, Scizor and Ferrothorn and kill Water types such as Rotom-W and Slowbro, that otherwise threaten Aerodactyl.
* Defog and Rapid Spin users such as Excadrill and Latios/as really help with Aerodactyl's weakness to Stealth Rock.
* Grass types such as Venusaur and Seprerior also help take care of bulky Water and Ground types. Aerodactyl on the other hand can deal well with Alakazam, Buzzwole and Tornadus that threat Grass types.
* Ground types like Zygarde, Excadrill and Landorus-T can take care of Steel and Rock types that otherwise wall Aerodactyl.
* Entry Hazard users like Azelf really help wear down Aerodactyl opponents and make it easier for him to sweep.
[STRATEGY COMMENTS]
Other Options
=============

* A Hone Claws set can be used but Aerodactyl doesnt get many opportunities to set up with out taking alot of damage or switching out.
* A Pursuit trapping set is a viable set but it is generally not worth using as most Psychic types are not as common as they used to.
* A suicidal lead set with focus sash and stealth rock can be used but its mostly outclassed by Azelf and should only be used if you want a faster stealth rock setter.
* Iron Head can also be used to hit hard fairies like Clefable and the Tapus that otherwise wall Aerodactyl.
* Thunder Fang can also be used to counter Water types that otherwise take minimal damage from Aerodactyl.
* Crunch can be used as it benefits from Tough Claws but generally not worth as Aerodactyl loses alot of coverage.
Checks and Counters
===================

**Bulky Water Types**: Aerodactyl doesnt have anything to deal with Water types, while at the same time they can OHKO him with their STAB attack or they can set up on Aerodactyl.
**Bulky Ground Types**: Unless Aerodactyl runs Aqua Tail, Ground types can wall all of his attacks.
**Prankster**: Pokemon with the ability Prankster can cripple Aerodactyl's Speed/Attack with priority Will o Wisp/Thunder Wave.
**Priority Users**: Pokemon such as Weavile, Scizor and Azumarill can revenge kill Aerodactyl with their priority moves before Aerodactyl can hit them.
**Steel Types**: Unless Aerodactyl runs Earthquake/Fire Fang, Steel Types such as Excadrill, Ferrothorn and Scizor can switch into Aerodactyl's attacks and then OHKO him with their STAB attacks.
**Fast Choice Scarf Users**: Choice Scarf users such as Latios and Landorus-T can outspeed Aerodactyl and deal alot of damage to him with their coverage moves.
**Trick Room Users**: Pokemon that run a Trick Room set will hinder Aerodactyl's great Speed useless as they will be able to outspeed Aerodactyl for the next 5 turns.

Excuse me, but what exactly is the purpose of Whirlwind on a suicide lead that already has Taunt?

Double Edge baffles me too, especially when it's unstabbed, has terrible overall coverage, unecessarily breaks your Sash and leaves Aero completely walled by both Magic Bouncers. I get the whole spinblocking thing, but the only 2 relevant spinners in OU, Excadrill and Starmie, get 2HKOed by EQ and Stone Edge respectively. SR/Taunt/Stone Edge/Earthquake is the only set you should even consider on Sash Lead Aero (maybe Aqua Tail over EQ for Baloon Exca but that's it).

Oh, and I'm pretty sure Sash Lead Aero should be the second set, if it's included at all. There is ultimately very little reason to run it over Azelf

When I started writing the sets i started with the suicidal lead one and then wrote the offensive one. I will switch em and also change a few moves on the suicidal lead one

Pursuit, while surely being an OPTION on the attacker set, is in fact actually a completely different set on its own, usually in a dual-trapping core with Magneton or Magnezone, who also give great type coverage. So make sure you add that set too. If you're unsure about EVs etc., I can help you out

Pursuit doesn't really warrant it's own set since you could easily just run it on the offensive set instead of using the bulkier set, which really isn't that good anyways since you're not making use of its combination of speed and power to function as a revenge killer. Then you can just mention Magnezone in the team options regardless since its a good partner if FFang isn't ran (and for skarm).

Also Mega Aero's role isn't sweeping. It's more like cleaning up the weakened opposition, revenge killing, and using its speed to trap things like Latios and Torn-T if Pursuit is ran.

Edit: I am officially retarded and forgot to set the enemy pokemon level to 100 on the calculator. Ignore everything I said.

Well I did use Mega Aerodactyl for sweeping but most of the times it requires certain pokemon getting out of the way before being able to sweep a team. Also a trapping set is good when used correctly.

Also ready for QC and added 2 movesets

Not QC but I dunno about having Hone Claws and Suicide Lead be their own movesets; Hone Claws is fine, don't get me wrong, but it's not necessarilly all that great to where it needs its own moveset; fits fine in OO imo. Also Suicide Lead should also be put in OO as realistically the only reason you will ever use Aerodactyl as a suicide lead is to beat Lead Azelf which is Lead Aero's main niche, but otherwise you are almost always better off with Azelf considering there's nothing in the speed tier between Azelf and Aerodactyl that sets Rocks (off the top of my head, at least) that Aero can Taunt which makes it more worthwhile; having Explosion is a huge boon for Azelf in regards to momentum as Aerodactyl can only really use Double Edge to die to recoil for momentum which overall doesn't give it the justification for a full set in my eyes. You don't have to do what I say as you can wait for an official QC member to comment on this, just an observation. :)

Suicidal Lead Aerodactyl seems pretty pointless considering it's only role is "outspeeding Azelf," even then the person is probably better off using Azelf anyways since Azelf has access to Explosion. Like CrystalRam said, it may warrant some mention in OO but, it seems a bit too specific imo

Badass looking and really high speed.
edit-you shouldn't be talking about the design of the pokemon at all tbh, just focus on Aerodactyl's positives and negatives

Will combine the first 2 points and remove the "badass looking". About the suicidal lead, I asked yesterday on discord and they told me to leave it there so I will wait for qc if I will leave ot

There's no reason for Aerodactyl to have 4 sets. Lead and Hone Claws are OO material at best. Pursuit is also a lacking option when Latios and Tornadus-T are not nearly as common as they used to be in late ORAS. The first set should look something more like this (and should be the only set):

[SET]
name: All-Out Attacker
move 1: Aerial Ace
move 2: Stone Edge
move 3: Ice Fang / Aqua Tail
move 4: Earthquake / Fire Fang
item: Aerodactylite
ability: Unnerve
nature: Jolly
evs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe

Crunch really doesn't have much appeal because it offers little coverage compared to whatever slot you replace it with. The current slashing gives Aerodactyl a way to hit Ground-types and Steel-types, with each move covering some different targets. Generally, Ice Fang should be used with Earthquake and Aqua Tail should be used alongside with Fire Fang. Will take a second look at this after you implement this.

Fix up the move section, its riddled with errors. Ice Fang is not for grass types, aerial ace hits them harder. Aqua tail is mainly for hippowdon whioe still hitting lando. Fire Fang is not for ice types, stone edge hits them harder.

Dont just list the super effetive hits. Think about specific and relevant targets.

The rest of the analysis needs some help too. Try laddering with mega aero more. Also read its ORAS analysis.

Yeah you clearly have no experience with mega aero. The overview is extremely vague and fails to define its actual niche in the metagame. You just point out the obvious, like no shit it resists those types, but why is that important? Anyone with basic knowledge of mega aero will know all these things, but it is your job to educate the reader on what makes Aero a decent choice in the metagame and why these certain traits are important for its success.

But yeah this is probably going to get reassigned. The next time you decide to take an analysis make sure you actually play with it first or else you're just wasting our time and screwing over the people who actually have experience with it and want to write about it.

For the reasons that Gary already stated, this will be reassigned. For future reference, make sure you a good amount of metagame knowledge before writing an analysis. The reader should know what types are good against what already. The purpose of an analysis is educate the reader on how the Pokemon functions in the metagame, how to use it, etc. Almost everything presented here tells me nothing and lines like these "He is also a viable Chansey killer that otherwise may wall the rest of your team." don't tell the reader how to use the Pokemon at all and it also tells me you couldn't bother to calc the damage versus Chansey, because it doesn't come close to 2HKOing with Stone Edge.

Locking.
