:IntroductioN:
This is by far my favorite team to use on the standard ladder. Before I started on shoddy I played wifi, but I never knew what a huge difference playing shoddy would make for me. I made this team for the smogon shoddy server right when it came out, it was very fun to use and got me loads of wins. That being said I dedicate this team to the server that has helped me grow into a better battler.

:In deptH:
Yanmega (F) @ Focus Sash
Ability: Speed Boost
EVs: 4 HP/2 Atk/252 Spd/252 SAtk
Modest nature (+SAtk, -Atk)
- Bug Buzz
- Air Slash
- Hidden Power [Ground]
- Hypnosis
-Why I choose Yanmega to lead-
This pokemon is only walled completely by 3 ou pokemon: zapdos, blissey and skarmory. Offensive teams that start by using stealth rock suicide leads get there stealth rock up, but soon realize they are going to be killed the next turn. I didn't even bother giving him protect because most leads don't try and attack me first turn so I can hit them instead of going for a free speedboost. Hypnosis is an awesome move to have, even though it finds a way to miss most of the time. When pokemon that get 3hkoed come in and can do some decent damage I just for for the hypnosis and they have to sit there waiting to wake up. Hidden power ground is for the once reliable yanmega counters: heatran and magnazone. Some versions of heatran still manage to live the attack, but my focus sash is there to save me, but the most used versions of these two pokemon get ohkoed. If a blissey comes in I put it to sleep and go to either garchomp or lucario.

Heatran (F) @ Leftovers
Ability: Flash Fire
EVs: 252 HP/16 SAtk/240 SDef
Modest nature (+SAtk, -Atk)
- Earth Power
- Overheat
- Will-o-wisp
- Stealth Rock
-Why I choose Heatran as my supporter-
As we all know heatran is a great sweeper with an amazing special attack stat. What you might not know is that heatran gives amazing support. With 91 base hp and 106 defense/ sp.defense, heatran can take any non super effective kind hit you want to throw at him, and even then he can take most super special attacks. With celebi on this team heatran has all of his weaknesses covered with my other support. This allows then to leech seed/burn stall. Will-o-wisp is set garchomp, salamence and gyarados back a couple steps, then celebi can come in and tak them out easily.
Thanks go to aldaron for making this amazing set!
---
Gyarados (F) @ Life Orb
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 76 HP/252 Atk/180 Spd/2 SAtk
Adamant nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Waterfall
- Ice Fang
- Dragon Dance
- Stone Edge
-Why I choose gyarados as my first sweeper-
I use this gyarados to lure out walls and at least soften some of the hardest walls for garchomp to get through. I picked stone edge and ice fang so I could hit celebi hard with ice fang and zapdos hard with stone edge. Things that are weak to earthquake usually don't come out right away fearing being koed by a super effective blow. The first thing my opponant thinks to do when it sees I have stone edge is to switch in something that would normally be killed by ice fang, but they don't expect that.
---
Celebi @ Leftovers
Ability: Natural Cure
EVs: 252 HP/220 Def/36 Spd
Bold nature (+Def, -Atk)
- Grass Knot
- Leech Seed
- Recover
- Hidden Power [Ice]
-Why I choose Celebi as my 2nd supporter-
Celebi is used to take status that could throw my team off pace. It also messes stall teams up by leech seeding them. Hidden power ice and grass knot for gyarados and dragons. Grass knot also helps me with starmie, who gives my team some trouble without a powerful stab grass move. Celebi also helps me with suicune, who is a problem.
---
Lucario (F) @ Life Orb
Ability: Inner Focus
EVs: 252 Atk/252 Spd/6 SAtk
Naive nature (+Spd, -SDef)
- Bullet Punch
- Close Combat
- Stone Edge (Thankyou faint)
- Hidden Power [Ice]
-Why I use lucario the way I do-
At first I had been using the swords dance set, but I soon realized that lucario gave me a huge opportunity to take out some of garchomps counters. Hidden power ice is used for salamence, zapdos and gliscor. When the battles comes to an end I don't want to see anyone stand in front of garchomp that has any chance in hell at beating it. Bullet punch helps with gengars and killing pokemon that stay alive with a low amount of hp. I picked crunch so I can catch ghosts and psychics coming in to resist my close combat. The nature, hasty, is used so I can outrun neutral salamence. It will also help me with some lucario speed ties, beating jolly mamoswines and hitting harder with hidden power ice.
---
Garchomp (F) @ Yache Berry
Ability: Sand Veil
EVs: 6 HP/252 Atk/252 Spd
Jolly nature (+Spd, -SAtk)
- Dragon Claw
- Swords Dance
- Earthquake
- Fire Fang
-Why I choose Garchomp to be the main event-
As you all know this pokemon is a beast. I don't need to explain what he does, because of you have ever played on a standard shoddy, you have experianced facing one of them. He has so little counters as it is, yache berry will make that amount even lower. After I take out walls with my other pokemon garchomp comes in with his odd speed stat and takes out the remaining pokemon.

IMPORTANT INFO!
This team is not deoxys-e weak! I have never been swept by one the whole entire time I used this team.
If you read everything up to this point say, r3e.

Things that have caused me trouble in the past, but I manage to deal with are: starmie.
Things that I might change:
1. Gyarados's ice fang to return or bite.
2. Heatrans overheat to fire blast.
Interesting team facts:
1. I made every pokemon on the team female just incase a pokemon with attract comes along.
2. I named this team by holding down 1 so it would be on top of most my other files, and then clicked 3 random keys.
3. This team got me to 10 on the standard leaderboard.
4. Yanmega sweeps >25% of the teams that I face.
5. When I am in a good mood I play better with this team. 0_0
6. This wasn't really my first team I used on smogon shoddy server, it was the first one I made while being there.
