*All For One And One For All*
Hello Smogon. This is my first RMT, and it is a theme team I created based on The Three Musketeers. Of course using the Pokémon based on the Three Musketeers, The Fighting trio of Unova.
The idea was formed when I decided I wanted to test Terrakion, but also wanted to continue using Virizion. So I added Cobalion and attempted to cover weaknesses as best I could.

Richelieu (Dragonite) (M) @ Leftovers
Trait: Multi-Scale
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd
Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Hurricane
- Fire Blast
- Roost
- Draco Meteor
After testing this team, I noticed my lack of fire moves was hurting me a lot, and I was getting beat by other strong fighting types such as Conkeldurr and Toxicroak in the rain, Hurricane checks these pokemon, Especially if I face a Drizzle team. Fire Blast helps with Drought teams and helps agains Steel types such as Bronzong and Jirachi. Draco Meteor is my hardest hitting STAB move which maims other Dragons as they break my Multi Scale, Roost and Lefties help me keep my Multi Scale in tact. I just made this Dragonite and gave it Timid nature, it should probably be changed to Modest.
Rochefort (Scizor) (M) @ Choice Band
Trait: Technician
EVs: 236 HP / 252 Atk / 20 Spd
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Bullet Punch
- Pursuit
- U-turn
- Superpower
As I was making this team, I was scared of Reuniclus and the Lati@'s. So I decided to add CB Scizor to sponge some hits and KO them. Standard CB Scizor acts as a main glue for my team, sponging hits and making pivot switches, as well as scouting with U-turn. Bullet Punch helps against opposing Terrakion and revenge kills faster, frail threats. Pursuit is for trapping Ghost and Psychic types threatning my team and Superpower is for coverage.
Milady (Latias) (F) @ Leftovers
Trait: Levitate
EVs: 252 HP / 4 SAtk / 252 Spd
Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Calm Mind
- Dragon Pulse
- Recover
- Roar
I love this set. It sweeps so often as others decided to stat up with it, before being Roared out and I sweep from there. It disposes of Renuiclus as it tries to set up. I don't have much to say, but it provides a great Ground immunity which is all it needs to start boosting. I can also outspeed any Lati@'s I suspect are running Hidden Power Fire because of their 30 speed IV and either boost or KO with Dragon Pulse. It has a problem with Steel types, but I can either Roar them away or try and KO them before boosting.
Athos (Cobalion) @ Leftovers
Trait: Justice Heart
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Substitute
- Close Combat
- Stone Edge
- Iron Head
This is an interesting Substitute 3-attack set. I use both STAB attacks and Stone Edge for coverage. It is my best match against HaxRachi, as it requires multiple IronHead or Body Slam's to break a single Substitute, the only problem is getting it in safely without getting Para'd. This also allows me to scout the first switch in opponents have to Fighting Types safely. Adamant nature to do as much damage to Jirachi as possible, because it's one of my team's biggest threats.
Aramis (Virizion) @ Leftovers
Trait: Justice Heart
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd
Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Calm Mind
- Giga Drain
- Focus Blast
- Hidden Power [Ice]
Virizion takes on Rain and Sand very well. It is a great check to both weathers and has excellent special bulk. HP Ice hits flying types which think they can take on Virizion and KO with a 4x effective move. Virizion often KO's Gliscors assuming it is Physically oriented.
Porthos (Terrakion) @ Balloon
Trait: Justice Heart
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
Jolly Nature (+Spd, -SAtk)
- Swords Dance
- Rock Polish
- Close Combat
- Stone Edge
Double boosting Terrakion is my late game sweeper. It checks Excadrill well. Team preview let's me see if I should go for Rock Polish or Swords Dance, sometime I can get both. Great sweeper. Balloon let's me switch in on Excadrill, and then RP as it bursts balloon before Close Combating to KO. Don't really know what else to say.
Threats and Annoyances.
Some threats I have found are:
Specially defensive Jirachi. It can take Nite's Fire Blasts and just cause annoyance to everything.
Skarmoury. It is really bulky and can set up on the Pokémon it walls. I usually have to Focus Blast with Virizion and revenge after Brave Bird kills it, if Nite is dead.
Volcarona. It can scare out pokemon like Virizion and set up, once it has set up it is a major threat as even my phazer is weak to it, and my priority can't do much.
All comments appriciated. Thanks for any help.Hello Smogon. This is my first RMT, and it is a theme team I created based on The Three Musketeers. Of course using the Pokémon based on the Three Musketeers, The Fighting trio of Unova.
