I have primarily played Ubers UU, and had been in one or two team tours, where I haven't done super well. I'm trying to expand into different tiers, and UU seems interesting to me because there are alot of cool mons here as well as a metagame that interests me.

Tell us a little about your experience in competitive Pokemon (min. 3 sentences): I've been a VGC player for almost a decade, playing since the end of vgc 15 when i was a kid. I've never gone to an official event due to my living situation, tho I took part in my share of tournaments on smogon. I'm not very motivated to compete alone, but i love team tours and especially draft formats. While grinding vgc i've always used the DOU ladder as a fun alternative when the official format sucked, which lately has been almost always imo. The reason i want to learn more about DOU is that some of my friends play it and i'd like to compete with them in team tours.
While i tend to not try very hard in battles, i'm a building maniac, my favorite playstyle is using bulky pivots to continuously keep the momentum on my side.

Most of my time spent playing mons was during BW where I played most formats available on PO at the time on ladder. Since then I've played SM Battle Factory when that was current as well as more recently in the last year a smattering of SV formats on ladder. I'd like to learn how to properly play and build for a modern format instead of just laddering with samples or passed teams. I had fun laddering in AAA previously and a lot of my friends play so I feel it would make for a fun choice, but with all of the options feels difficult to get into at that level myself.

Tell us a little about your experience in competitive Pokemon (min. 3 sentences): im a frequent ladder player who recently started playing lc a few months ago. i find the meta really fun and have placed high on the ladder (as high as #5), and went 3-0 in my first ever lc teamtour being a discord teamtour named levis premier league (was on the scrubs team so i had to play every other week to give other undrafted players a chance to play). i want to become a more consistent player and better builder (rn i mostly just steal teams from my lpl manager’s teamdump) in preparation for the lc ladder tournament playoffs

When actively laddering I’m usually in top 25 if not top 10 of SV mono ladder, peak is #2. I’ve been engaging in roomtours more recently to get more experience in tournament play.

Tell us a little about your experience in competitive Pokemon (min. 3 sentences): I play a lot of sv ou, i’ve peaked #8 on ladder which was ALMOST 2000 elo but i haven’t hit that mark yet, i’ve played in many pls and gained wins over many notable players. i can also build and build for some of my teamates and friends for their games. but this year i wanna get drafted in scl and also hopefully qualify for olt so i figured getting a tutor may help, i know effort = results and i’m ready to put in effort

Ive played in the Natdex draft tournament, and quite a few leagues now since then. Have done pretty decently in the leagues and tournament I played so far so would like to get better and become consistent.

Since starting in BW, I was part of the winning team for BW Trios, almost made the last 16 in the BW Winter Seasonals, and peaked top 4 on BW ladder at almost 1,600 points.

I want to develop further by being able to build my own teams confidently, being able to assess midgame positions and identify when and how to utilise my win conditions.

I'm hoping to get enough skills and confidence to be a starter for BWPL and have a good run in BW Cup.

I think a tutor will help me better understand this new meta (Scarlet+Violet) and put me up to date with the teambuilding musts. I chose UU cuz I think is more fun than OU.

I started playing on PS in late gen 7, but i joined smogon and actual tours in late 2024. Ive had some success at beating strong players in discord tours, but again not in sv pu.

My most experience is with UU tiers and Monotype tiers, but I'm trying to crack into the big OU for once. In terms of BW OU, I've achieved 82% GXE and ~1550 on ladder. I'm currently in BW Cup R4. I'm mostly looking to improve my building ability, gain experience with the tier more in terms of tours and not farming ladder, and improving my play and accuracy in-game.

Started in 2022 playing doubles ubers, eventually going to natdex after wanting to use megas and new gen mons. Nowadays i’m a roomvoice for the national dex room and i’m mainly looking to reinforce my building skills, knowledge of the meta, and clicking. I played in every individual natdex tour since summer seasonal last year (not circuit :[) and the farthest i believe I’ve gotten is round 8 of winter seasonal this year, or if it counts i went 3-1 in majors before having to drop out.
