This Raging Bolt set serves as a potent wallbreaker and revenge killer, using its bulk, typing, and priority to deal with dangerous foes like Ogerpon-W, Cinderace, and Hisuian Samurott. Thunderclap threatens key targets like Enamorus and Tornadus-T and picks off numerous other faster foes like Darkrai, Deoxys-S, Iron Moth, and the aforementioned Cinderace and Ogerpon-W; it is also helpful for playing mind games against Kingambit's Sucker Punch, potentially stopping it from pulling off a late-game sweep. Dragon Pulse provides a consistent Dragon-type STAB option, while Draco Meteor takes solid chunks out of bulky foes like Ting-Lu, Clodsire, and Galarian Slowking; unlike Dragon Pulse, a Life Orb-boosted Draco Meteor under the sun also threatens to cleanly OHKO maximum HP Dragonite with Multiscale intact. Weather Ball provides a solid coverage option depending on which weather team Raging Bolt is used on; under the sun, Weather Ball scorches Steel-types like Gholdengo, Kingambit, and Scizor, and when boosted by a Life Orb, it has a favorable chance to 2HKO Clodsire. Meanwhile, the rain version of the move washes away Ground-type checks like Great Tusk, Gliscor, and Landorus-T. The move under both weather conditions also threatens Iron Treads, which otherwise handles Raging Bolt very well. Thunderbolt provides a reliable Electric-type STAB option to threaten bulky Water-types like Alomomola and Toxapex, ease the matchup against Encore users like Iron Valiant and Hisuian Samurott, and help prevent sweepers like Nasty Plot Gholdengo and Calm Mind variants of Enamorus and Primarina from using Raging Bolt as setup bait. Solar Beam allows Raging Bolt to blast apart common foes like Garganacl, Ting-Lu, and Great Tusk without relying on Draco Meteor and should exclusively be used on sun teams to avoid its two-turn drawback. Thunder provides a stronger Electric-type option over Thunderbolt and has similar consistency under the rain, letting Raging Bolt use the move without worrying about missing; after consuming Booster Energy, Thunder has a small chance to OHKO a fully invested Assault Vest Alomomola after Stealth Rock. If Raging Bolt is used on sun archetypes, Life Orb is recommended, as its boost stacks with Protosynthesis to make the most of Raging Bolt's wallbreaking capabilities. Outside of sun, Booster Energy provides a one-time power boost. Tera Flying is used to flip the matchup against annoying Ground-types like Great Tusk, Ting-Lu, Gliscor, Landorus-T, and Iron Treads. Tera Fairy gives Raging Bolt a solid defensive profile, making it immune to Dragon-type attacks from foes like Dragapult, Walking Wake, and opposing Raging Bolt and providing resistances to Kingambit's Sucker Punch and Zamazenta's Fighting-type STAB options. Tera Grass grants Raging Bolt a Ground resistance while maintaining a resistance to Ogerpon-W's STAB options; under the sun, it gives a Life Orb-boosted Solar Beam a favorable chance to OHKO a fully invested Ting-Lu after Stealth Rock. Tera Ghost lets Raging Bolt block Rapid Spin from Great Tusk and Iron Treads and check IronPress Zamazenta and Extreme Speed Dragonite in a pinch. On sun archetypes, Raging Bolt can opt for Tera Fire to amplify Weather Ball's damage output and flip its weaknesses to Ice and Fairy, improving its matchup against foes like Kyurem, Weavile, and Iron Valiant. Tera Dragon is another option, removing Raging Bolt's Ground weakness and giving its Life Orb-boosted Draco Meteor under the sun the highest possible chance to OHKO a fully invested Galarian Slowking and Clodsire. While a Modest nature is preferred to maximize Raging Bolt's damage output, it can also opt for a Timid nature to outpace Adamant Rillaboom and Dragonite at the cost of missing out on the aforementioned OHKOs. If Raging Bolt does not need to Speed tie with opposing Raging Bolt, it can reduce its Speed investment to 144 EVs to outspeed Adamant Tyranitar or 132 EVs to outpace Jolly Kingambit, investing the remaining EVs in its bulk.

This Raging Bolt variant is a solid choice for sun and rain teams, which enable Weather Ball as a powerful coverage option. On sun archetypes, pairing Raging Bolt with Ninetales or Torkoal is mandatory, as either can set sun to activate Protosynthesis, allowing Raging Bolt to run Life Orb and bombard opposing teams with its boosted attacks. Ninetales also provides crucial support with Encore to disrupt passive foes and Healing Wish to grant Raging Bolt a second chance at finishing the game, while Torkoal sets up Stealth Rock and keeps opposing entry hazards off the field with Rapid Spin. Walking Wake goes hand-in-hand with Raging Bolt, as their combined offensive firepower can enable either to clean up. Additionally, it blows through troublesome answers like Ting-Lu and Clodsire and provides Raging Bolt with a free switch through Flip Turn. Raging Bolt's wallbreaking gives Walking Wake room to opt for a Speed Protosynthesis set and serve as a late-game cleaner against fast offensive teams. Walking Wake can even forgo Choice Specs in favor of items like Mystic Water or Wise Glasses, allowing it to freely switch between moves. Sun sweepers like Ceruledge and Venusaur also become deadly cleaners once Raging Bolt weakens the opposing team early-game. Great Tusk and Hatterene are also beneficial for Raging Bolt, utilizing Rapid Spin and Magic Bounce, respectively, to ensure that hazards stay off the field. Great Tusk also helps soften shared answers like Landorus-T and opposing Great Tusk and sets up Stealth Rock to help Raging Bolt secure KOs against foes like Ting-Lu. Meanwhile, Hatterene uses an Eject Button to take an attack and bring Raging Bolt in safely while also providing Healing Wish to rejuvenate it. In return, Raging Bolt deals with foes like Dondozo, Corviknight, and Skarmory for Great Tusk while handling Gholdengo for Hatterene. Utility Cresselia is another noteworthy teammate for Raging Bolt, as it can reliably switch into Ground-type attacks from foes like Great Tusk, Landorus-T, and Dragonite and threaten them with Ice Beam. It can also completely revitalize Raging Bolt with Lunar Dance and spread paralysis with Thunder Wave to cripple otherwise faster foes like Dragapult, Walking Wake, and Iron Valiant. On rain archetypes, Pelipper is a mandatory teammate, as Drizzle lets Raging Bolt use Thunder without worrying about missing and turns Weather Ball into a Water-type coverage option. Pelipper can also utilize a slow U-turn to bring Raging Bolt in unscathed. Raging Bolt then provides a solid answer to Ogerpon-W and Zapdos, both of which are very annoying for rain teams to deal with. Swift Swim users like Barraskewda and Overqwil form a deadly offensive core with Raging Bolt on rain archetypes, helping Raging Bolt overwhelm fast offensive checks like Zamazenta, Dragapult, and Iron Valiant. Barraskewda can also draw in bulky Water-type answers like Alomomola, Toxapex, and Tera Water Gliscor and pivot out with Flip Turn, letting Raging Bolt pressure them. Meanwhile, Overqwil provides extra security against Kingambit and Rillaboom, both of which pose a major threat to the rain archetype. Hazard support from Iron Treads helps Raging Bolt secure crucial KOs against foes like Assault Vest Alomomola; Iron Treads also removes opposing hazards with Rapid Spin and provides pivot support with Volt Switch, giving Raging Bolt more opportunities to wreak havoc. Kingambit is another important partner for Raging Bolt, breaking past special walls like Blissey, forming a dangerous double priority duo with Raging Bolt to overcome fast-paced teams, and benefiting from Raging Bolt's wallbreaking to clean up late-game. In return, Raging Bolt deals with physically bulky foes that trouble Kingambit like Dondozo and Corviknight.

Tera Ghost lets Raging Bolt block Rapid Spin from Great Tusk and Iron Treads and check IronPress Zamazenta and Extreme Speed Dragonite in a pinch. Something worth noting is that in Sun, Life Orb Weather Ball outright 2HKOes Clodsire. On a similar note, Tera Fire can be used to further boost Weather Ball, while flipping Raging Bolt's Ice and Fairy weaknesses. If you could find a place to mention either of those, that would be great.

Walking Wake goes hand-in-hand with Raging Bolt, combining their offensive firepower for the other to clean up; additionally, it blows through troublesome answers like Ting-Lu and Clodsire and provides Raging Bolt a free entry with Flip Turn. Something else worth noting about Walking Wake is that Raging Bolt acting as a pure wallbreaker means that Walking Wake can opt for less explosive options like a Speed Protosynthesis boost or even items like Mystic Water and Wise Glasses instead of Choice Specs. Not sure if it is possible to mention this but it is worth considering Sweepers found on these sun archetypes like Ceruledge and Venusaur also become incredibly deadly cleaners once Raging Bolt weakens the opposing team early-game. Great Tusk and Hatterene are also beneficial for Raging Bolt, utilizing Rapid Spin and Magic Bounce, respectively, to ensure that hazards stay off the field. Great Tusk also helps soften shared answers like Landorus-T and opposing Great Tusk, while Hatterene uses an Eject Button to pivot into an attack to bring Raging Bolt in safely along with providing Healing Wish to rejuvenate it. Hazard support from Iron Treads is useful for Raging Bolt to secure crucial KOs against foes like Assault Vest Alomomola; Iron Treads also removes opposing hazards with Rapid Spin and provides pivot support with Volt Switch, giving Raging Bolt an easier time sticking around to wreak havoc. Kingambit is another important partner for Raging Bolt, breaking past special walls like Blissey, forming a dangerous double priority duo with Raging Bolt to overcome fast-paced teams, and benefiting from Raging Bolt's wallbreaking to clean up late-game. In return, Raging Bolt deals with physically bulky foes that trouble Kingambit like Dondozo, Corviknight, and IronPress Zamazenta. Might be a bit of a stretch. Fine by me but I would specify this is with help of Tera, or remove it completely. Your call, but in any case Dondozo + Corviknight is plenty.

I would add Ogerpon-W and Zapdos as Pokemon that rain struggles with and which Raging Bolt helps against, not sure exactly where though.

This Raging Bolt set serves as a potent wallbreaker and revenge killer, using its bulk, typing, and priority to deal with dangerous foes like Ogerpon-W, Cinderace, and Hisuian Samurott. Thunderclap is Raging Bolt's primary method of threatening key targets like Enamorus and Tornadus-T, and picking off numerous other faster foes like Darkrai, Deoxys-S, Iron Moth, and the aforementioned Cinderace and non-Encore Ogerpon-W; (I understand why you are highlighting Encore here, but it feels a bit weird to call this out as not effective when it is effectively a mindgame just like Kingambit's sucker punch is as well.) it is also helpful for playing mind games against Kingambit's Sucker Punch, potentially stopping it from pulling off a late-game sweep. Dragon Pulse provides a consistent Dragon-type STAB option, while Draco Meteor takes solid chunks out of bulky foes like Ting-Lu, Clodsire, and Galarian Slowking. (Is it possible to quantify DPulse vs Draco with some Calcs? For example, things Draco Meteor OHKOs that Dragon Pulse does not?) Weather Ball provides a solid coverage option depending on which weather team Raging Bolt is used on; under the sun, Weather Ball scorches Steel-types like Gholdengo, Kingambit, and Scizor, and when boosted by a Life Orb, it has a favorable chance to 2HKO Clodsire. Meanwhile, the rain version of the move washes away Ground-type checks like Great Tusk, Gliscor, and Landorus-T. The move under both weather conditions also threatens Iron Treads, which otherwise handles Raging Bolt very well. (Could add a note about the minor extra utility Weather Ball has when Slowking-Galar sets Snow and/or Ttar sets sand, like OHKOing SpDef Gliscor. But this is very small and it's already slightly long, up to you.) Thunderbolt provides a reliable Electric-type STAB option to threaten bulky Water-types like Alomomola and Toxapex, ease the matchup against Encore users like Iron Valiant and Hisuian Samurott, and help prevent sweepers like Nasty Plot Gholdengo and Calm Mind variants of Enamorus and Primarina from using Raging Bolt as setup bait. Solar Beam allows Raging Bolt to blast apart common foes like Garganacl, Ting-Lu, and Great Tusk without relying on Draco Meteor and should exclusively be used on sun teams to remove the two-turn drawback. Tera Grass grants Raging Bolt a Ground resistance while maintaining a resistance against Ogerpon-W's STAB options; under the sun, it allows a Life Orb-boosted Solar Beam to have the favorable chance to OHKO a fully invested Ting-Lu after Stealth Rock. Tera Ghost lets Raging Bolt block Rapid Spin from Great Tusk and Iron Treads and check IronPress Zamazenta and Extreme Speed Dragonite in a pinch. (You already mention lots of Tera types, which is good, but could Tera Dragon be worth a text mention as well? Maybe it's just a Storm Zone idea, but powering up Dragon Pulse/Draco Meteor while removing the ground type weakness is perhaps OK.) On sun archetypes, Raging Bolt can opt for Tera Fire to amplify Weather Ball's damage output and flip its weaknesses to Ice and Fairy, improving its matchup against foes like Kyurem, Weavile, and Iron Valiant. (Are any other spreads or the Timid variant potentially worth mentioning? Maybe this set is less flexible than other ones, but Raging Bolt does sometimes like flexing bulk.)

Great Tusk also helps soften shared answers like Landorus-T and opposing Great Tusk, while Hatterene uses an Eject Button to pivot into an attack to bring Raging Bolt in safely along with providing Healing Wish to rejuvenate it. (Could mention somewhere here that Tusk can also set rocks, which are needed for some KOs like AV Mola and Ting as mentioned in the first paragraph.) In return, Raging Bolt deals with foes like Dondozo, Corviknight, and Skarmory for Great Tusk, and Gholdengo for Hatterene. Utility Cresselia is another noteworthy teammate for Raging Bolt, as it can reliably switch into Ground-type attacks from foes like Great Tusk, Landorus-T, and Dragonite and threaten them with Ice Beam. Swift Swim users like Barraskewda and Overqwil form a deadly offensive core with Raging Bolt on rain archetypes, helping it overwhelm Ground-types like Great Tusk, Landorus-T, and Ting-Lu. (I might focus more on how these teammates outspeed offensive checks to Raging Bolt like Zama, Pult, IVal, etc. Hitting grounds is nice, but under rain, Bolt can already do that via weather ball, so they're generally less annoying for Bolt to handle.) Barraskewda can also draw in bulky Water-type answers like Alomomola, Toxapex, and Tera Water Gliscor for Raging Bolt to pressure as it pivots with Flip Turn, while Overqwil provides extra security against Kingambit and Rillaboom, both of which pose a major threat to the rain archetype. Hazard support from Iron Treads is useful for helps Raging Bolt to secure crucial KOs against foes like Assault Vest Alomomola; Iron Treads also removes opposing hazards with Rapid Spin and provides pivot support with Volt Switch, giving Raging Bolt an easier time sticking around more opportunities to wreak havoc. Kingambit is another important partner for Raging Bolt, breaking past special walls like Blissey, forming a dangerous double priority duo with Raging Bolt to overcome fast-paced teams, and benefiting from Raging Bolt's wallbreaking to clean up late-game. In return, Raging Bolt deals with physically bulky foes that trouble Kingambit like Dondozo and Corviknight.

skype To address the question you left regarding Raging Bolt's Attack IVs, it is listed as 20 instead of 0 because Raging Bolt is coded to always have 20 IVs in all of its stats before it can be hyper trained.
