All out offense (not that special anymore i know but still)

Offensive teams are everywhere in today's metagame which suites me because offense has always been my favorite playing style.
In the construction of this team, I wanted every member of it to be a threat to the opposing team, while maintaining enough checks on the biggest threats today.

gengar.png

Gengar@ Choice Scarf
Timid Nature (+Spe, -Atk)
EVs: 4 Hp/252 SpA/252 Spe
-Focus Blast
-Thuderbolt
-Shadow Ball
-Trick

ScarfGar lead. I wanted something that could hit hard and fast that could also stop set-up leads. With a scarf and Timid,
Gengar is faster than pretty much anything and can hit leads like Azelf hard with STAB Shadow Ball. Focus Blast for coverage
along with Shadow Ball and Thunderbolt to hit water types and especially to revenge kill DD Gyara if it sets up. Not too
sure about using Gengar as my lead, but for now it seems to be the best option.

gyarados.png

Gyarados@ Leftovers
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SpA)
EVs: 216 Hp/16 Atk/92 Def/184 Spe
-Stone Edge
-Waterfall
-Dragon Dance
-Taunt

Bulky Gyarados!! So this is my EV spread that I like to use for Bulky Gyara. 184 Speed Evs outspeeds base 115s like Azelf
after a DD and Max Speed Ttar before a DD. I love this thing, makes a great switch into physical attackers, Intimidates them
and DDs in their face. Taunt stops phazers and status and is just a great move in general. Waterfall for STAB and Stone
Edge for coverage, especially hitting other Gyarados is nice.

mamoswine.png

Mamoswine@ Life Orb
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SpA)
EVs: 24 Hp/252 Atk/232 Spe
-Earthquake
-Stone Edge
-Ice Shard
-Stealth Rock

Mamoswine is a force. Ice Shard coming off of Life orb and 394 Attack is amazing and deals with pesky dragons like DD Mence
and Scarf Flygon/Mence. Earthquake hurts anything that doesn't resist or fly, and Stone Edge is for flyers like Gyarados.
I needed Stealth Rock Somewhere on the team and Mamo has an open slot since Superpower/Ice Fang isn't by any means essential
so Mamo is setting up rocks for me. Overall a both a great check on many top threats as well as a powerful attacker.

heatran.png

Heatran@ Choice Scarf
Naive Nature (+Spe, -SpD)
EVs: 4 Hp/ 252 SpA/252 Spe
-Explosion
-Fire Blast
-Earth Power
-Hidden Power Ice

Scarf Heatran makes an amazing revenge killer and is everywhere by, for good reason. Fire Blast for STAB and threats like
Scizor and Lucario. Earth Power mainly for other Heatran but also for stuff that resists fire. HP Ice for dragons just in
case Mamo goes down earlier. Explosion is there when I can't deal with a certain threat or break a certain wall. Overall
Tran makes a great switch utilizing a good typing and good defenses and is an important part of the team.

salamence.png

Salamence@ Life Orb
Naive Nature (+Spe, -SpD)
EVs: 16 Atk/240 SpA/ 252 Spe
-Draco Meteor
-Outrage
-Earthquake
-Flamethrower

Mixmence, great at breaking walls and opening up the way for others to sweep. Draco Meteor is simply amazing knocking out
physical walls and just causing distruction. Outrage is risky due to getting locked in, but it can really do good damage
to special walls that come in on draco meteor. EQ and FT to hit steels on both sides of the spectrum. I went with Max Speed
to at least tie all other base 100s.

lucario.png

Lucario@ Life Orb
Adament Nature (+Atk, -SpA)
EVs: 4Hp/252 Atk/252 Spe
-Close Combat
-ExremeSpeed
-Bullet Punch
-Swords Dance

Lucario my late-game clean up man. After a SD Close Combat is just utter destruction. ExtremeSpeed to hit stuff like Ape
and Azelf that outspeed me and can KO. Bullet Punch to KO Gengar and other ghosts.

Changes I was thinking about:

Putting a suicide Azelf lead over Gengar
Using Scizor over Luke

There it is, please rate my team.

Very standard fare, especially if you go Azelf > Gengar and Scizor > Luke. Your only "unusual" addition is Mamoswine.

I am concerned about a few things. You don't have a good way to stop leads from throwing out Rocks (yes, you can trick them, but they still get Rocks up), and three of your members (Gyara, Mamo, Mence) are weak to it, so will take a fairly large hit every single time.
You are running two Stat-up Physical sweepers that all act very similar. Come in, try and set up a stat up move, attempt a sweep. Something like Scarf Rotom-h w/Tbolt and Overheat can effectively counter both of them effortlessly, while doing a number on Salamence if it packs HP Ice as well.
I would suggest dropping either Gyarados or Salamence for a CM or Nasty Plot Special Sweeper, which should bring some more balance to your team. Something like CM Celebi or CM Suicune perhaps?

First off, only Gyarados and Salamence are weak to SR (Mamo being part ground it is neutral) but I see your point regardless which is why i was considering Azelf with Taunt as my lead.

I can see CM Suicune possibly fitting in over Gyarados. While i enjoy the fighting resistance and intimidate (considering i have three pokes weak) I could see CM Suicune filling a similar role if I make it bulky and not the life orb variant.

Thanks for the help.

I honestly think that Gengar's leading days are long behind him. You want to hold onto that scarf as long as possible and that there isn't one common lead that gengar can ohko now.

Might sounds odd, but, I would suggest leading with Mamo. Ice shard 2hkos sashzelfs without much fanfare and can ohko ttar leads, which are getting more common again. Against anything else (even zong, who will always go for the SR first) you can SR first turn. The only lead that I can think of that will scare you off is infernape. Or you can go with gyarados, which stops ape and taunt screw over anything slower than it.

My problem with offensive teams is that you have absolutely nothing that can come in on a tbolt. This team has nothing that can switch in save mamo who is weak to hp grass (a common pairing). This means that Jolteon can easily sweep you (yes, even with the 2 scarfers) and zapdos completely walls this team. So, going with scarf trick Rotom (whatever form you think might help you best, either wash for tran insurance or lawnmower for pert, who also gives you a lot of troubles) might actually not be such a terrible idea. Cursepert with eq/waterfall/stone edge gives this team all sorts of problems.

I actually really like that scofield. Part of the reason Mamo is on there is because I did not have an electric resist. I guess I will add the lawnmower Rotom over Gengar as they fulfill similar purposes with Rotom having the added bonus of an electric resist. Lawnmower > Wash as I think I'm more worried about Pert than Tran.

As for the lead. I was considering Mamo, but I know many leads carry fire moves (Ttar, Azelf, Ape) and shashes and wasn't sure how well that would work.

I guess I will fiddle around with leading Mamo and Gyara and see what works best.

Thanks a bunch.

EDIT: If I go with Mamo as my lead, should I keep LO on it or go with Focus Sash?
