Introduction
Hello people my name is Monte Cristo, also known to some as "Oiawesome", "yungcheesybred", or "The annoying arrogant guy who's not even being serious about him being the best" . You might recognize me from my previous RMTS: Inferno, good dragonite, M.A.A.D metagame, Adventure Melody and Goldfish. However this time I don't have an Overused tier rate my team for you guys and gals, I have an Almost Any Ability tier RMT. This team, in my opinion, is one of the best hyper offense teams in the metagame right now (not to shit on the others, I love the hard work and creativity being put into the metagame right now, but full hyper offense is becoming a rare playstyle in AAA so I can actually say this without trying to sound ego-boosting.) Behind such greats as "the imas team" by Kl4ng and "like every team" by aesf.
For those uninformed, Almost Any Ability is a metagame, or rather an "Other Metagame" where players get to use ALMOST any ability on their pokemon, however with this concept comes limitations so there are special metagame-specific bans for pokemon, move(s) and abilities. However there are also uber unbans that come with this, and even recently- an ability clause! With this simple but complex ruleset and lots of viable ideas you can see how this metagame can truly be a blast, and I encourage you to try it if you haven't. But enough about the metagame, lets talk about the team.
This team is a team I've been using for about half a year now and I've put a lot of hard work and effort into. I've specifically gone out of my way to make sure that this is a viable hyper offense team for not only half a years meta, but now too. While this team does have trouble with specific threats, there is nothing that this team can't overcome with good plays and smart thinking.
Now speeches, filler, introductions and praising aside, how did this team really come into formation?
Teambuilding
Mamoswine (pre=ban)
Yes, I am afraid to admit it, but it is true. This team did not originally feature the oh-so "ballin" Sneasel set as the first member. This was originally meant to be a team based around proving how broken Mamoswine was, however this was short lived as I made another team that was arguably WAY more lame but way more broken in order to prove my point (it was a balanced team with 3 PH + 3 strongmons autopilot that won me games easily for no reason). I chose Mamoswine because I honestly just love how underrated and powerful the Ice-type has been and I have ALWAYS repped the Ice-type in my "good" AAA teams (more like luckee-en-bad) and I'm even willing to use Articuno in order to rep it. (fact: http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/almostanyability-208127968 ). So I orginaly wanted to build around a strong Ice type.
Sneasel/Deoxys-S
So after I decided to put the focus of Mamoswine being broken on another team and eventually the Mammoth was banned, retested, then banned again. So after that whole fiasco, I found myself with more time to play as I took a back seat as a council member instead of a direct metagame leader. After the refocus of the team, I decided it'd be a good idea to use the other big ice type left- Sneasel. Sneasel has always interested me in someway and it finally seemed viable in some way via its swords dance and pursuit sets. With Sneasels unique ability to break Chansey, Doublade and Zapdos all at once I decided it would be the perfect fit for a hyper offense team to break down important fat defensive cores. Which it excels at. After this I decided to add hazards support as no AAA hyper offense team is perfect without a little Mold Breaker/Turboblaze (Teravolt is for nerds :^I) Deoxys-S. Deoxys-S and Sneasel actually make quite the good pair as they not only support each other, but both work together well to support other pokemon.
Sneasel/Deoxys-S/(Mega)Metagross
It was not too long before the creation of the team that Kl4ng exposed me to one of the most threatening and powerful sets of all of AAA. Defiant Metagross with metagrossite. While it sounds really mediocre at first sight, at this time Kl4ng was just using his team not vs everybody yet so this was a new experience for the metagame entirely. Having a defiant user that could also set up easy speed boosts, and was also a super strong mega evolution meant that defog could be punished both on stall and offense to a ridiculous amount. This influenced the team a lot and gave the team a huge shift in direction and provided an amazing offensive back bone.
Sneasel/Deoxys-S/(Mega)Metagross/Victini
So at this point I had realized I have become extremely weak to rain and that weather in general was a big threat. So I added one of my favorite pokemon in the tier - Victini - to the team. Victini provided amazing support vs things like Manaphy by having the new Desolate Land mixed attacking set then popularized and used by aesf before me. This also helped my rain troubles quite a lot, but I didn't think it was enough so...
Sneasel/Deoxys-S/(Mega)Metagross/Victini/Suicune/Shaymin-S
By this point I still hated rain, and still do. I will be a rain hater till the day I die, and I will never be converted. So I added Delta Stream Shaymin-S and Poison Heal Suicune. Suicune handles the infamous Mega-Swampert drizzle to swift swim rain set and so does Shaymin-S to a certain extent. (forces to get rid of rain by removing it and you can't revert a mega, so therefore it kills Mega Swampert's momentum entirely). However I felt a bit overboard with this and felt like Shaymin-S could help my lack of special attacking firepower on this team so I converted Shaymin-S to Adaptability however after losing to rain once, I have made a little tweak to make it a slash instead of having a guaranteed ability. Though in tournaments with rain I will most likely bring Delta Stream.

Deoxys-Speed @ Focus Sash
Ability: Turboblaze
EVs: 248 HP / 8 Atk / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Spikes
- Taunt
- Knock Off
From the day asterat decided to unban this thing, I've always had mixed feelings about Deoxys-Speed. And I feel that's the best way to put this pokemon, mixed feelings. Deoxys-Speed is far from cancer to the metagame but it's always been kind of shady to introduce this kind of pokemon to mold breaker abilities and 100 more possible defiant support options for anti-defog. Comments about tier balance regardless, Deoxys-Speed is a fantastic pokemon that enables this team to be successful and is one of the key reasons why it even works. Deoxys-Speed is a must have for all hyper offense teams in the current metagame. Not only does it cripple Chansey & Doublade (Taunt + Knock Off) heavily, but it gets 1-3 free hazards depending on the opposing teams structure. Generally the game plan vs offense is to lead this or pick another pokemon to anti-lead, and if I do lead with Deoxys-Speed, then I first set up Stealth Rocks and usually the prediction game can get me able to knock off an item off of an important pokemon like an opposing Victini's scarf. If they generally play safe and just try to knock you out as soon as possible then you should just try to get as much hazards as possible. Many pokemon like Skarmory will try to set up on you and get around taunt by threatening Brave Bird or the other way around. Always use taunt. It is ALWAYS more important to get the possibility of Skarmory sweeping as soon out of the way, as Mega Meta will generally come in after, thunder punch almost kill, and then Skarm gets +4, Brave Birds Mega Meta, doesn't kill, but does ridiculous (about 80%) damage. Also it is important to prevent the rare but annoying defensive Skarmory that can taunt you back or set up its own hazards. The game plan versus stall is to preserve Deoxys-S tbh. What you really need to do is set up Stealth Rocks, and then make a safe play or a safe switch like Knock Off, Taunt, or switch to Mega-Metagross. It is not worth losing Deoxys-S early versus stall. A lot of newer or even good and experienced Hyper Offense players make this mistake and often have to play dancing around stuff they could really eliminate if they had Deoxys-S like Chansey. Deoxys-S' role on this team is the generic hyper offense role, annoy stall sure, but mainly to set up hazards over the opponents team to bait a defog or cause passive damage for wallbreakers/win conditions/sweepers on my team to break through.

Metagross @ Metagrossite
Ability: Defiant
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Rock Polish
- Meteor Mash
- Thunder Punch
- Earthquake
This. This pokemon is one of the deadliest in the entire Almost Any Ability metagame at the moment. It isn't because of just one specific reason either. Mega Metagross is not the best pokemon in the metagame, but its ability to suddenly becoming pressuring under 1 turn of mind games or something similar is what makes it so troubling for a lot of unprepared teams. Mega Metagross is an intimidating threat that helps this team function properly by serving as a win condition / sweeper and also removing the threat of defog, or at least supplying an opposing threat to challenge defog users. Mega Metagross is a must have for not only this team, but also hyper offense in general due to its ability to deal with Skarmory like no other pokemon, ability to crush balanced teams AND deal with stall and offense extremely well (not as well as it does vs Balanced though). The general game plan with Metagross is to actually play very patiently or even sometimes extremely aggressive depending on how the opponent plays. Now let me get a little more in depth with that. When I say that, I usually refer to the variation of player playstyle, team playstyle and team matchup. If I'm playing balanced you generally want to reserve Mega Metagross until they defog, and if they don't, you want to take out their check or weaken it before Metagross comes out. After that it's a matter of getting safe opportunities to sweep. Usually this means Pursuiting Doublade or scouting Doublade to see if it is Levitate or not, and capitalizing on that. After the Doublade or other pokemon has been put into a weakened position, it would usually be time to Rock Polish depending on the speed tier of the opposing pokemon. When it comes to stall, it really is variant on if I get the defog or not. If they have Levitate Doublade, then you have the same general plan as stall for dealing with it. However stall players generally play more reserved with their Doublades so it's a lot of baiting. After that there's stuff you have to watch out for like Levitate Heatran and Zapdos. I didn't touch upon Zapdos in balanced because I want to say it specifically here: Never challenge Zapdos, at most you should only challenge it with +2 thunder punch and hope it's specially defensive. If you're not boosted, just bait it out and go into Sneasel to apply pressure. I have considered Ice Punch over Earthquake for bolt beam however that could make it more trouble to fight non levitate steel types aside from Skarmory and Fire types. I also considered Hidden Power Fire over Earthquake and Rock Polish however they make the Offense match up a lot less favorable.

Closing Comments, Threatlist, and Shoutouts
bad luck- Rain - Actually not that bad to this specific team because of the prepartation but F U C K R A I N. Hate that shit
- I'm lazy right now I'll add more soon
aesf - you inspired this team so much, I barely knew you as well as I do now back then but holy shit you were a real big help with your playstyle and team building influence when I was first starting to get back into the metagame. You're also a really good homie man
Kl4ng - no matter how many times you've said I've challenged you whether our record be 3-3 million or 3-3 I have the most respect for you as a player and you really helped the foundation of this team by theory monning with me and giving me the Metagross set
Lcass4919 honestly you're pretty neutral to me but I just wanted to thank you for being victim #1 of this team
Either way you're really good at this meta don't think I just post that replay to shit on you man
motherlove you helped me get back into AAA after my hiatus a lot man, thanks
Adrian Marin - You were a really really good friend and you inspired my playstyles in all the VGs that we played vs each other whether it be smash or pokemon. Your stall and my stall were some of the best before I switched to offense, but don't be sad, I'll be back to the greatest playstyle of all time (stall) soon.
jeran Even though I always lose to you you're humble as fuck about it and you often say we're around the same level of skill or something of the sort which is really nice. You also helped me figure out the holes in this team and get some theorycrafting done with your matches and playstyle vs me
that about wraps up my shoutouts for my council friends
Leafshield and The Reptile kreygasm
E4 Flint I realize offense is bad and I'm a scrub I will switch to stall shortly. lel
Firebot- lot of you people are annoying b8ers/like whores but you guys are fucking hilarious the 10% of the time and that's all I care about since that's when I'm on my phone lurking instead of getting b8ed in the threads lmao. So yeah, you guys are weird and annoying but somewhat enjoyable
Except user Arcticblast - Doubles is bad and you should feel bad

This has probably been my most successful team in any tier aside from Inferno to date so I'm really glad I finally got to retire it and RMT it. Thanks to all that read. Drop a rate(hopefully one that just doesn't consist of "7.8/10" or "8/8 gr8" but those are fine too) or possible changes to the team please!
e: oh I forgot to shoutout THE TANNED CHARIZARDS. Nani man the GOAT imo (I was not paid to say this, er, well if I was I wouldn't admit to it, oh whatever)
double edit: forgot to say this too- shoutouts to ready2go202 for stealing the team and admitting it, if he said it was his own I prob would have killed him but I can respect it when he admits to it
