[OVERVIEW]

Alolan Exeggutor has an amazing Special Attack alongside a great STAB move combination and nice coverage in Flamethrower, which makes it an excellent choice for either a wallbreaker or a Trick Room sweeper. Its solid bulk and defensive typing allow it to take advantage of Pokemon like Vaporeon and Palossand and gives it an easier time setting up Trick Room. While other slow wallbreaking Dragon-types such as Guzzlord do give it competition, Alolan Exeggutor's offensive typing and ability to set up its own Trick Room manage to set it apart from them. However, Alolan Exeggutor is held back by its low Speed outside of Trick Room, weakness to common types such as Ice, and reliance on prediction due to its various switch-ins, such as Silvally-Fairy and Talonflame.

[SET COMMENTS]
This set aims to come in as much as possible and deal raw damage with its nukes in Draco Meteor and Leaf Storm. Giga Drain is there to help Alolan Exeggutor stay healthy and allows it to be played more aggressively, while Flamethrower hits incoming Steel-types such as Alolan Sandslash and Silvally-Steel. Although it is slow, maximum Speed investment allows Alolan Exeggutor to outspeed and KO various Pokemon before they can get a move in, such as Guzzlord and Vikavolt. Alolan Exeggutor is best at breaking past physical walls such as Regirock, defensive Mesprit, and Jellicent, but it also breaks various special walls such as Gigalith and Lanturn. Therefore, Pokemon that appreciate these walls being broken or at least weakened, like Sneasel and Scyther looking to set up and sweep late-game, work well alongside Alolan Exeggutor. Scyther, as well as other Pokemon such as Togedemaru and Mesprit, can also get Alolan Exeggutor in with U-turn.

[SET COMMENTS]
Trick Room allows Alolan Exeggutor to take advantage of its low Speed in order to wreak havoc against many offense and even balance teams. Flamethrower is there for the Steel-types that resist Alolan Exeggutor's STAB moves, such as Silvally-Steel and Togedemaru, while also hitting Grass-types such as Virizion and Tsareena without Draco Meteor's Special Attack drop. Alolan Exeggutor can be run on or off dedicated Trick Room teams. If run off of a Trick Room team, Alolan Exeggutor wants to be sent out late-game to clean up the match after Pokemon such as Aromatisse and Silvally-Fairy have been weakened or taken out. In this case, it benefits from slow pivots that can get it on the field safely such as Uxie and Vaporeon. On a Trick Room team, it can be used either as the late-game cleaner or as means to weaken teams and set up Trick Room for its sweeping teammates, like Wishiwashi and Marowak.

[OVERVIEW]

Alolan Exeggutor grants an amazing Special Attack alongside great STAB combination and nice coverage in Flamethrower which makes it an excellent choice for either a wallbreaker or Trick Room sweeper. It also supports solid bulk and an decent defensive typing that allows it to take hits before hitting back hard, setting up Trick Room, or switching into various attacks. While other slow wallbreaking Dragon-types such as Guzzlord and Drampa do give Alolan Exeggutor competition, this previously mentioned offensive typing and its ability to set up its own Trick Room manages to set it apart from them. However, Alolan Exeggutor is held back by a few qualities such as its low Speed outside of Trick Room and weakness to common types, especially Ice, which is coverage carried by many Water-types it would otherwise be able to switch in against.

This set aims to come in as much as possible and deal raw damage utilizing its nukes in Draco Meteor and Leaf Storm. Giga Drain is there to help Alolan Exeggutor stay alive if need be while Flamethrower hits incoming Steel-types such as Alolan Sandslash and Silvally-Steel as well as certain other targets like Frosmoth. While it is slow, maximum Speed investment allows Alolan Exeggutor to outspeed various Pokemon before they can get a move in such as Guzzlord and Sandaconda(replace Sandaconda with Vikavolt. Sandaconda shouldn't be staying in on Exeggutor-Alola anyway.). Alolan Exeggutor is best at breaking past physical walls such as Regirock and Jellicent, as well as various special walls such as Gigalith and Vaporeon. Therefore, Pokemon that appreciate these walls being broken or at least weakened like Sneasel and Scyther work well alongside Alolan Exeggutor. (mention Pokemon that can get Exeggutor-Alola in with momentum and setup sweepers that appreciate the breaking power.)

Trick Room is the main spectacle of the set as it allows Alolan Exeggutor to take advantage of its low Speed in order to wreak havoc against many offensive and even balance teams. Thanks to Draco Meteor's high power, Alolan Exeggutor is able to get it off multiple times before having to switch out. Giga Drain helps keep Alolan Exeggutor alive, especially with the Life Orb recoil and other factors such as hazards, but Energy Ball can instead be used for its higher power. Finally, Flamethrower is there for the Steel-types that resist Alolan Exeggutor's STABs such as Silvally-Steel and Togedemaru while also being its best way to hit Pokemon such as Frosmoth. Alolan Exeggutor can be run on or off dedicated Trick Room teams. If run off of a Trick Room team, Alolan Exeggutor wants to be sent out late-game to clean up the match. (specify pivots that can get it in safely.)If run on, it can be used either as the late game cleaner or as means to weaken teams and set up Trick Room for its sweeping teammates like Wishiwashi and Marowak.

[OVERVIEW]

Alolan Exeggutor grants (idk if this makes sense here? like smth else like "has" would make more sense) an amazing Special Attack alongside great STAB combination and nice coverage in Flamethrower which makes it an excellent (rlly nitpicky, and it's up to u but i feel like excellent is kinda overstating how good it is) choice for either a wallbreaker or Trick Room sweeper. It also supports solid bulk and an decent defensive typing that allows it to take hits before hitting back hard, setting up Trick Room, or switching into various attacks. (just say that its bulk allows it to take advantage of x and y mon and gives it an easier time setting tr) While other slow wallbreaking Dragon-types such as Guzzlord and Drampa (drampa cringe lol) do give Alolan Exeggutor competition, this previously mentioned offensive typing and its ability to set up its own Trick Room manages to set it apart from them. However, Alolan Exeggutor is held back by a few qualities such as its low Speed outside of Trick Room and weakness to common types, especially Ice, which is coverage carried by many Water-types it would otherwise be able to switch in against. (the only one that often does is lanturn. i'd rather have u mention how it can be a bit prediction reliant bc of all of the immunities / resists running around)

Alolan Exeggutor is best at breaking past physical walls such as Regirock and Jellicent, (mention one that isnt weak to its stabs / coverage. otherwise there's no real point in making a difference between special and physical walls) as well as various special walls such as Gigalith and Vaporeon. (vaporeon typically runs physdef tho, lanturn perhaps) Therefore, Pokemon that appreciate these walls being broken or at least weakened like Sneasel and Scyther work well alongside Alolan Exeggutor so they can more easily set up and sweep late game. (i'd also highlight how it hits grass-types without needing to drop a draco, which is useful when u dont want the spa drop) Alolan Exeggutor can be run on or off dedicated Trick Room teams. If run off of a Trick Room team, Alolan Exeggutor wants to be sent out late-game to clean up the match.
