Ability: Fur Coat
EVs: 252 HP / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Parting Shot
- Foul Play
- Toxic / Taunt
- Knock Off

VoltTurn teams dominate ZU, with Alolan Persian being one of their most reliable pivots. It's both fast and bulky enough to check threats like Silvally-Ghost, Kangaskhan, and Froslass, and the combination of Heavy-Duty Boots, Fur Coat, and Parting Shot makes Alolan Persian exceedingly hard to wear down. Foul Play targets physical wallbreakers and punishes setup sweepers like Silvally-Ground and Kingler. Toxic pairs well with Knock Off, since both moves are useful for wearing defensive Pokemon like Articuno, Piloswine, and Wishiwashi down. However, Taunt can be used instead to prevent these targets from using moves like Toxic and Stealth Rock. Alolan Persian performs its best when it can follow up Parting Shot with wallbreaking teammates like Choice Specs Magneton, Choice Band Sawk, and Centiskorch. Additional pivots like Uxie and Rotom-S complete a momentum core with Alolan Persian while also covering for its weakness to Fighting. Poison-types like Garbodor and Qwilfish also cover Alolan Persian's weaknesses, and in return, they appreciate the Knock Off support making their Spikes are more potent.

VoltTurn dominates ZU by easing in wallbreakers through defensive pivots, and Alolan Persian is one of the best Pokemon for this playstyle. It's both fast and bulky enough to check threats like Silvally-Ghost, Kangaskhan and Froslass, and the combination of Heavy-Duty Boots, Fur Coat, and Parting Shot makes Alolan Persian exceedingly hard to wear down. Foul Play targets physical wallbreakers and punishes setup sweepers like Silvally-Ground and Kingler. For defensive Pokemon, Toxic and Knock Off wear down the likes of Articuno, Piloswine, and Wishiwashi. Sorry for the last second addition! The ZU QC wanted to add Taunt as a slash, so I added the semi-colon phrase on to this sentence:
"For defensive Pokemon, Toxic and Knock Off wear down the likes of Articuno, Piloswine, and Wishiwashi; Taunt also works to prevent Toxic and Stealth Rock from these Pokemon."

Again I apologize for any issues ;_; Hope it's not too big of a hassle.

VoltTurn dominates ZU by easing in wallbreakers through defensive pivots, and Alolan Persian is one of the best Pokemon for this playstyle. (it might be me, but "VoltTurn dominates ZU by easing in wallbreakers through defensive pivots..." reads weirdly. if you said "VoltTurn teams dominate ZU, with Alolan Persian being one of their best and most reliable pivots." or maybe explained *how* exactly VoltTurn teams dominate ZU without explaining the *purpose* of VoltTurn, then it'd be fine.) It's both fast and bulky enough to check threats like Silvally-Ghost, Kangaskhan, and Froslass, and the combination of Heavy-Duty Boots, Fur Coat, and Parting Shot makes Alolan Persian exceedingly hard to wear down.
