Thanks to Swords Dance, Slush Rush, and high-Base power attacks, Alolan Sandslash is a great mid- and late-game sweeper on many hail and semi-hail teams alike. Earthquake hits Fire- and Steel-types like Chandelure, Registeel, and Metagross. Knock Off ensures it doesn't get walled by Bronzong and debilitates switch-ins like Golisopod and Milotic. A Jolly nature is preferred over Adamant, even with Slush Rush, to outspeed Choice Scarf Flygon. Wide Lens as the item allows all hits of Triple Axel to land more often. Alternatively, Alolan Sandslash can opt for power over accuracy with Life Orb, OHKOing threats like Registeel, Metagross, and Umbreon with boosted Earthquake and Triple Axel, respectively.

On full hail teams, Aurorus and Abomasnow get hail up and further help Alolan Sandslash to set up and sweep, as they gift Stealth Rock and check Water-types, respectively. On said full hail teams, Arctovish is an amazing partner that breaks down bulkier walls like Umbreon and Gastrodon, paving the way for Alolan Sandslash late-game. Alolan Sandslash also works on semi-hail teams, with Vanilluxe as the hail setter instead. On semi-hail, Alolan Sandslash has a better defensive typing than Arctovish, making it more resilient to revenge killing from Golisopod and Gardevoir, alongside giving it a setup opportunity versus Crobat. Under hail, Alolan Sandslash can also outspeed Choice Scarf Flygon, unlike Arctovish. Alolan Sandslash struggles with breaking through bulky Water-types like Miltoic, but Vanilluxe helps in this regard with Freeze-Dry. Electric-types like Raikou and Xurkitree also assist against bulky Water-types without having to risk your hail setter. Calm Mind Raikou can benefit from hail with an Ice-type Weather Ball to hit Ground-, Grass-, and Dragon-types in one move. As Steel-types like Bronzong and Registeel tend to wall Alolan Sandslash without any prior chip damage, it appreciates Fighting- or Ground-types like Heracross or Nidoqueen, or entry hazards like Spikes from Klefki and Golisopod, to soften them up for a viable sweep. Fire- and Fighting-types also threaten Alolan Sandslash, so it appreciates teammates than can take care of them like Milotic, Xatu, Crobat, and Nidoqueen. In return, it removes pesky Grass- and Ground-types for them.

Thanks to access to Swords Dance, Slush Rush, and high base power attacks, Alolan Sandslash solidifies its role on many hail and semi-hail teams alike as a mid- to late-game sweeper. Earthquake hits Fire- and Steel-types like Chandelure, Registeel, and Metagross. Knock Off ensures you don’t get walled by either Golisopod or Bronzong. A Jolly nature is preferred over Adamant even with Slush Rush as you can then outspeed threats like Scarf Flygon. Wide Lens is the chosen as the item as it allows Triple Axel to land more often; however, Life Orb can be used over Wide Lens. It is highly discouraged, though, as it limits your longevity as a sweeper and can only secure a certain amount of hits. i think lo is pretty good, you can get cool ohkos at +2 like hitting rocks gross, registeel, and umbreon (if u hit 3) which can be super nice for the teams ur usually on. id reword this and give it a more positive/balanced spin

On full hail teams, Aurorus and Abomasnow aid with getting hail up and with setting up and make it easier for Alolan Sanslash to setup and sweep, as they gift Stealth Rock and Aurora Veil, respectively i don't think aurora veil is the main benefit of abomasnow, id probably mention hainvg a good water resist is more appreciated, maybe merge that with the vanilluxe bit about handling waters. On said full hail teams, Arctovish is an amazing partner that breaks down bulkier walls like Umbreon and Quagsire, paving the way for Alolan Sandslash late-game. It also works on semi-hail teams too, with Vanilluxe as the hail setter instead probably worth mentioning its good defensive typing (comparatively) and speed vs arctovish which is more common on semihail. Vanilluxe takes care of bulky Water-types with Freeze-Dry such as Milotic and Quagsire that Alolan Sandslash struggles with. Electric-types like Raikou and Xurkitree can also assist with breaking bulky Water-types without having to risk your hail setter. On Raikou's Calm Mind set, it can benefit from the hail with an Ice-type Weather Ball to give a shock to Ground-, Grass-, and Dragon-types. In return, Xurkitree is given speed control to revenge kill faster, weakened threats i don't really get what this sentence is trying to get to, make it clearer or delete. As Steel-types like Bronzong and Registeel are hard for Alolan Sandslash to break through without any prior chip, it appreciates Fighting- or Ground-types, like Heracross or Nidoqueen, or hazards, like Spikes from Klefki and Golisopod, to soften them up, allowing it to be a viable win condition. Fire- and Fighting-types also threaten Alolan Sandslash, so it appreciates teammates than can take care of them like Milotic, Xatu, Crobat, and Nidoqueen. In return, it clears pesky Grass- and Ground-types for them.

Knock Off ensures you don’t get walled by Bronzong and cripples switch-ins like Golisopod and Miloticeither Golisopod or Bronzong. (I think this makes more sense, Triple Axel does similar damage to Knock Off.)A Jolly nature is preferred over Adamant even with Slush Rush as you can then outspeed threats like Choice Scarf Flygon. Wide Lens is the chosen as the item as it allows Triple Axel to land more often. Sometimes, it lacks power, though, so it can opt for power over accuracy with Life Orb, which OHKOs threats it couldn't before like Registeel, Metagross, and Umbreon with boosted Earthquake and Triple Axel, respectively.

On full hail teams, Aurorus and Abomasnow aid with getting hail up and with setting up and make it easier for Alolan Sanslash to set up and sweep, as they gift Stealth Rock and Aurora Veil,(Aboma doesn't even always run veil, you could mention it checks Water-types.) respectively. On said full hail teams, Arctovish is an amazing partner that breaks down bulkier walls like Umbreon and GastrodonQuagsire,(More relevant) paving the way for Alolan Sandslash late-game. It also works on semi-hail teams too, with Vanilluxe as the hail setter instead. On semi-hail, over Arctovish, it has a better defensive typing, resisting many types thanks to its part-Steel typing making it more resilient to revenge killing from Golisopod and Gardevoir, and giving it setup opportunity versus Crobat,(I elaborated on how exactly a better typing could help.) and a better speed tier-under hail-, outspeeding Choice Scarf Indeedee and (Hardly relevant)Flygon. Alolan Sandslash struggles with breaking through bulky Water-types like Miltoic, so Abomasnow or Vanilluxe can take care of them for it with Wood Hammer or Freeze-Dry, respectively. (Mentioning Abomasnow would be redundant with the first sentence if that's changed could be like "Vanilluxe helps in this regard with Freeze Dry" )Electric-types like Raikou and Xurkitree can also assist with breaking bulky Water-types without having to risk your hail setter.
