Am I Missing Something?

Okay, I'm breeding a Careful Ditto with a female Adamant Scyther. The Scyther has an everstone attached to it.

Now, I've hatched 22 eggs, and only one has been Adamant. Is my luck really just that bad, or am I missing something?
