Rejected An "Are you sure?" option for move selection

In a lot of games I reconsider my move choice then my opponent has already chosen a move and its already too late.
Now I know your probably saying that the cancel button exists, but what I am suggesting is that once you choose a move, it says "Are you sure?" before you actually do a move. I would appreciate this:).

The obvious response of "99% of players would hate this because it doubles how often you have to click" (me included) is avoided by having this be a battle options toggle FWIW. Still probably not that important since eventually learning to consider your moves properly before you move is a skill, but this suggestion has some virtue as a toggle.

I feel like this wouldn't actually help the problem all that much. I suppose the delay would help a little bit, but I think most people are just going to develop muscle memory for clicking confirm, so you'd only have an extra split second to realize "no wait I don't want that"

I think DrPumpkinz's response is a good one, but also consider that the games don't have a similar "are you sure" functionality (yes, yes I know the cancel button). Just be sure to think before you choose your moves!
