"As soon as the starting pistol sounds, Decoy begins Charge-ing up power, ready to unleash it! Lovely stalls this, however, by sprinkling some yellow dust over the ball. This isn't fairy dust, however - not unless fairy dust hinders movement. Nah, these are Stun Spores!
"Taking advantage of Decoy's sudden slowness, Lovely sprinkles more dust over the Voltorb. Judging by Decoy's sudden slumber, I'd guess that was Sleep Powder! Indeed, Decoy seems to be snoozing away on the battlefield.
"During Decoy's slow slumber, Lovely sprinkles yet another Powder on Decoy, this time Poisoning it! Such beauty! It's too bad this is an official match and not a contest, or the lovely Lovely would get top marks! As is, Lovely seems to be doing rather well - oh, wait! Decoy's just woken up! He's Charge-ing up some more - and now he's unleashing it in a powerful Beam! Amazing!

"Now, the second round is beginning! Lovely quickly fires Supersonic waves at Decoy, apparently unaware that it is completely Soundproof. It misses, anyway. Decoy takes the opportunity to create a box of Light around it, Screening it from special attacks.
"Apparently ignoring the Light Screen, Lovely fires a Psychic beam at the Voltorb, scoring a critical hit and completely bypassing Decoy's defensive boosts! Decoy quickly recovers, however, and slams into Lovely, Sparks flying through the air at the sheer power of its attack. Lovely falls to the ground, paralyzed.
"Continuing its momentum, Decoy Charges up even more power and fires a Beam at the Butterfree, doing even more damage and increasing its attack even more. Recovering from the onslaught, Lovely uses her little psychic power in an attempt to shake Decoy into Confusion. Its screen of light, however, prevents it from taking but a little damage from the attack.
"As we stand at the end of the round, both Pokémon are paralyzed, but Eternal Drifter seems to be taking a much more strategic approach with his attacks, wheras Classical appears to be using the classic 'create as many status problems as possible, then do as much damage as possible' strategy. See what I did there? Eh?"

"Lovely gets back up and merely continues waiting, ready to absorb more damage. Decoy, however, does not oblige this time, as it seems to paralyzed to do much of anything at the moment.
"Just before Lovely releases all the energy she has been storing, however, Decoy Teleports out of the way, and all the waiting this round became a mere waste of about 31 energy.
"Well, one could say the parahax gods blessed Classical in one way, preventing a second Thunder from costing Lovely the battle, but she's still rather worse for the wear."

Well... he seems to be ordering Lovely to Chill out and recover some energy. A bit odd to do with so little health, but oh well.
"Realizing that the way to victory is through accuracy rather than power at this point in the match, Eternal Drifter has Decoy send a Sonic boom at the Butterfree, hitting and falling just short of a KO. Despite all the tension at this moment, though, Classical continues to have his Butterfree relax on the spot, Chilling out even more. Hmm.
"With Lovely so badly hurt, Decoy Swiftly sends stars flying straight at her! Lovely, apparently freshly full of energy, attempts to dodge, but the stars fly straight at her! They're gaining... gaining... they're almost upon her... and BAM! Lovely is unable to battle! The winner is Eternal Drifter!
