Maybe the complete new hud for the team preview is impossible due to the lack of ressource available.
Here why i think its a good idea, i recently posted a thing about add some battles musics , but in showdown the battle music come too soon, so some song may waste their beginning/start (u know, the mindblowing effect that some songs can occure when the timing is good).
it should start at the same time that the fight , not sooner , not during the team preview !
But for the ressource, i think its possible, the hud wouldn't be as good as Pokemon battle revolution or stadium but it can do the job.
We can keep the red and blue square ( maybe offer a customizasion for that ? ) and make the background 90% transparent and make it blur. To help the player to focus on the square.
The time remaining bar should be here and stay even if the team preview is finished only if the other player actives the timer, like this , it would be easier for a mobile user to see the time remaining ( see the timer without have to check the tchat ).
I swear , with ambient sound for the team preview, pokemon showdown will be taken much more seriously by new players.
