Anit-Weather Team with a Trick(Room)

This is my first year doing VGC, so I am trying to get all the help I can get. When I started making this team, I knew that weather would be a main strategy, so I wanted to be able to counter it. As i was choosing which mons to use, I noticed that most of them were pretty slow, so Trick Room would be a great option to use. I cant think of much else to say about this team, so with out further ado, I present, my VGC team:

Rhydon (M) @ Eviolite
Trait: Lightningrod
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 SDef
Brave Nature (+Atk, -Spd)
- Earthquake
- Rock Slide
- Megahorn
- Protect
First up, we have Rhydon. With Eviolite, this thing reaches massive defense, while still maintaining a high attack. Rhydon also has GREAT synergy with the team, most notably with Gyrados. Earthquake is great for hitting both foes at once, and most of the team is immune to it anyway(there's also Protect). Rock Slide also hits both foes, but is weaker. The flinch is always nice though, Protect is a necessity in doubles, and Megahorn is merely a filler but can be useful for Psychics. Not much else to say here. Overall its a very valuable member of the team.

Rotom-W @ Rindo Berry
Trait: Levitate
EVs: 252 HP / 252 SAtk / 4 SDef
Quiet Nature (+SAtk, -Spd)
- Thunderbolt
- Thunder Wave
- Protect
- Hydro Pump
Rotom-W is mainly useful for it's fantastic typing which gives it no weaknesses(with a Rindo Berry. It also has pretty good coverage with it's 2 STAB attacks so when Rotom attacks with Hydro Pump or Thunderbolt, it will usually do a good amount of damage. Thunder Wavel is used mainly as a filler, but can help if I want to slow them down when Trick Room isn't up. Protect is there to not get damaged while someone else attacks if need be used.

Metagross @ Occa Berry
Trait: Clear Body
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 SDef
Brave Nature (+Atk, -Spd)
- Explosion
- Protect
- Meteor Mash
- Bullet Punch
Metagross is the main powerhouse on the team. With base 135 attack, It can do so much damage and KO a lot of mons that could be potentially threatening to the team. Just as I am about to faint, I can simply use Explosion to KO both foes(as long as they don't resist it). Even though this can easily be predicted, it still works. And if I'm slower than my opponent, then I can just use Bullet Punch instead to get a quick attack in there. Oh, and Meteor Mash is there to kill a bunch of stuff.

Gyarados @ Leftovers
Trait: Intimidate
EVs: 128 HP / 252 Atk / 88 Def / 40 SpDef
Brave Nature (+Atk, -Spd)
- Waterfall
- Taunt
- Protect
- Avalanche
Good old Gyarados. Gyarados is another powerhouse on the team who can really wreck shit sometimes. Taunt is there to prevent either other mons from setting up or preventing me from setting up. Waterfall is there for strong STAB, while Avalanche has somewhat good coverage with Waterfall and will be useful as Gyrados will usually be attacking last anyways. As mentioned before, Gyarados pairs well with Rhydon as Rhydon as Lighningrod which can rid Gyarados of it's Electric weakness as well as being immune to it's Earthquakes.

Cresselia(F) @ Sitrus Berry
Trait: Levitate
EVs: 252 HP / 120 Def / 136 SDef
Sassy Nature (+SDef, -Spd)
- Trick Room
- Psychic
- Helping Hand
- Icy Wind
Cresselia is the main Pokemon on this team used to set up Trick Room. One of it's main selling point is it's ability, Levitate, which makes sure that it wont take any damage from Earthquakes. This means that I can set up a Trick Room while Rhydon uses Earthquake, which can really help me at times. A Sitrus Berry is used as it's item to help it regain help after being damaged from setting up Trick Room. Psychic is there for an attack to do some damage, and Icy Wind is useful for slowing foes down when I'm unable to set up Trick Room.

Chandelure (M) @ Fire Gem
Trait: Flame Body
EVs: 252 HP / 252 SAtk / 4 SDef
Quiet Nature (+SAtk, -Spd)
- Shadow Ball
- Heat Wave
- Trick Room
- Protect
And here we have the backup Trick Room setter. Chandelure is pretty much a more offensive version of Cresselia, as it can KO many enemies. It can set up Trick Room and fire off a Fire Gem boosted heat Wave which can do some massive damage to both foes at once. Shadow Ball is there as my other STAB, and has somewhat good coverage with Heat Wave. Protect is there for obvious reasons, but mainly to protect Chandelure from not getting hit with Earthquake damage from either Rhydon or another attack from my opponent.

Well, thats my VGC team. I hope you enjoyed reading this and will give me a rate to help me improve this team. Either way, thank you for taking your time to read this VGC RMT.

I'd go with Flame Body over Flash Fire on Chandelure, just to spit in the face of Crunch, and because there's not much switching in VGC. Good team, otherwise.
