Another Australian tournament

The level cap sucks. Really. I can't EV my Azelf properly. But oh well. I'm going for the novelty anyway and hopefully i can get somewhere this time.

Also, it's awesome that you guys get one already. I wish that the U.S. one would be announced soon. Yesterday marked exactly 1 year since my JAA stop in Detroit.

Anyway, I like how halfway through the ad, they realized that the accent on Pokemon goes the other way.

Yeah same here. I ebayed mine for the exclusive stylus too though :P

But the majority of Australians will not have imported their game and so to be fair on those people, the limit of lvl 50 pokemon doesn't seem too bad.

But I'm just going to check everything out and hopefully have a great time

If we analyse the actual wording of the rules...there might be other pokemon that are banned as well. mmm ;S :D
 
I have my imported game! I already have my Azelf and Garchomp.

And yeah, it'd be awesome if someone got footage (I might get my little brother to use his camera)
 
My brother is annoying, but considering he doesn't annoy randoms that he doesn't know and I'm going to threaten him, it shouldnt be a problem

hopefully we won't get the same homo for an announcer, that's all I can pray for.

P.S. Everyone must get a level 100 Palkia and name it Herpes so that kids can come and say "I WANT YOUR HERPES".

oh and just for an estimate, who from smogon is going to the WA tournament, reply and tell us or something (bar myself, steelicks, jus and quite possibly wstfgl?)
 
you do realise that holding around signs when your battling is just as bad as americans cheering on their flamethrower mewtwo
 
i realize it is a tournament for pokemon and i am going to have fun, and that comparing myself or my actions to americans (in a negative fashion) on a site that is run by americans, is kinda retarded
 
I didnt say all americans have flamethrower mewtwos and cheer them on, I'm just saying that watching some of them on youtube is really horrible - you shouldn't get physically exited over pokemon of all things.

there's a difference between having fun and making yourself look like a tool. i'll have fun sure but im not gonna make signs or something stupid like that.

don't think i'm being a lamer, im just being reasonable

also at the moment i dont even think that these tournaments are going to be run on battle revolution as the Standard Cup mode on the DS has an in build stadium mode feature.

can anyone confirm yet that the pokemons levels will be lowered to 50, or if they actually have to be 50? because tangrowth not having power whip will be gay
 
it's on the nintendo site, and standard cup deems (even on DS) that max level is 50, you can have under if you want
 
i meant over though. will the pokemons level be lowered to meet lv50, like on wifi or battle tower?
