AOPS and I stepped into the bar, told me it was his local hangout. Admittedly, I'm not too familiar with this guy save the fact that he's a regular at the arena and that I just fought him 20 minutes ago. Makes me wonder why I took up his offer to pick up chicks.

At least we didn't go to Irene; if Harry caught me being someone else's wingman, I'd never hear the end of it.

In any case, we found a couple of girls sitting at a table, played our cards, and before long AOPS walked off with the blonde one, leaving me with her brunette friend. Ultimately, I ended up regaling her with a story. Initially, I was gonna tell the tale of one of my forays into Egypt, but the only one that came to mind was the run-in with a giant Revenankh that I can't talk about, so I ended up talking about that fight with AOPS, which...actually was pretty bizarre. It was a tag battle; a doubles match between four trainers, two mons each. When she asked who my partner was, I told her he was some random 12-year-old boy trying to become a pokemon master.

I lied about that, of course. No point in getting her jealous - My partner was actually a 23-year-old woman. One I knew personally.
