Tell us a little about yourself: I joined Smogon about a half a year after watching BlameTruth's videos on Youtube. Strange how one goes from CoD/BF to Pokemon. Anyway, I am a long distance runner and I enjoy playing Basketball/Soccer too. I have really fallen out with videogames, Pokemon is really the only one I play. Baking is perhaps my favorite hobby. I make a mean strudel and have a specialty in making cookies.

Edit: I forgot to mention that I am more so focusing on ADV OU and DPP OU than BW OU. ADV OU is completely foreign to me, while DPP is a bit more familiar due to its similarities with Gen 5. BW OU I feel that I have a good understanding of it, but always hit a wall around the 100's (highest I ever got was 79 only to go back down). However, with BW OU I feel like I can go much more in depth with my tutor.

Tell us a little about yourself: I am a normal 15 year old that wants to learn how to team build in LC even better. I have gone pretty high on the ladder, but eventually my team's "magic" runs out and I start losing battles and going down. Other then pokemon I play soccer listen to rap, metal, and classical at times, I like watching basketball, but suck at the sport. Like living life, hate anime <3 and love playing trumpet. Well thats it about me~.
Why Should I Be Tutored (Less Than 25 Posts):I want to be tutored because Smogon has the best LC battlers imo and I really want to learn from them. I really want to learn how to team build great and also learn how to play game better. I want to improve my prediction and also make it to the top of the ranking. I can make it, but I need to improve on my team building skills, so that is why I want to be tutored. I will be committed to this program and will be on most of the days, so there will not be a problem with inactivity. The reason I don't post is that i feel outclassed by the people here, and don't feel helpful. Hope it will change.

Tell us a little about yourself: My name's Nick, I've liked Pokemon for as long as I can remember, and it's the closest thing to a hobby that I have. I started playing competetively about a year ago and am mostly self-taught. I had a tutor for a couple weeks on another site, but his busy schedule got in the way. I can do pretty well if I don't make some retarded mistake, but I feel I have a lot to improve on. I just started getting into UU and am better at it/am liking it more than I did OU.
Less Than 25 Posts:I'm pretty new and haven't posted too much because I feel that I'm not good enough to have much to contribute. I'd most likely be more active and contribute more if I got a tutor and improved.

Preferred Tier: I'm willing to learn any, but I think I'd like to start somewhere in the lower tiers (UU RU or NU), since there's less in them, and I m still pretty new when it comes to competitive Pokemon. I'm also partial to Monotype, but that's less a tier and more a tournament style.

The James Bell Story: Looking at the other posts in this thread, I'm apparently an old man compared to all the kids that post on here, but I guess I'm okay with that. I've been playing since i was in elementary school, in the good old days of Red and Blue versions, with my Blastoise that packed Water Gun, BubbleBeam, Surf, and Hydro Pump. I've come a long way since those days, but I can't seem break above a 50/50 win/loss record on PO. I prefer building teams around themes and around specific Pokemon, but the lack of practical competitive knowledge keeps me from being able to do very well with them. The other reason I'd like some tutoring is so I would have something useful to contribute the next time a CAP project starts up. My favorite things to do in-game are breed pokemon and hatch eggs. I also like themed runs of the games. (Nuzlocke, Monotype, solo, etc.)

When it comes to non-Pokemon life, I graduated from the University of Cincinnati 6 months ago, (I saw that Louisville guy up there, GO BEARCATS) and I'm starting a new job soon.

I'd love to get picked for tutoring, so hopefully someone finds me to their liking.

Tell us a little about yourself: I'm attending college so my schedule is slightly wonky at times. I've been with Pokemon sense it came out but I'm brand new to the competitive scene. I was honestly surprised at some of the placements in the tier list. (Blissy being OU really threw me off from her crappy defense.) I prefer using non-standard strategies, but I have no problems with tried-and-true ones. I also have a quirky sense of humor and I am currently doing a scramble challenge on my white version. I am a Brony so there will be the occasional pony reference, but I will not force you to join the herd.
Also, I have no intention of using weather.

Tell us a little about yourself: Got back to Pokemon some months ago and I'm still adapting from all changes since Gen 4. I do have some decent knowleage in Team Building and Predictions, but I know that there's still a lot to improve.
Less than 25 posts explanation: I would really like to participate more on the forum discussions or help on the RMTs but I don't really think I have enough knowledge right now to really help anyone, getting tutored would certainly help me get more into the game and also be more active here.

I got a tutor on Round 58 but unfortunately we weren't really able to talk to each other that much, so if possible, I would like to try again.

I'm hoping that by getting tutored I'll feel comfortable enough with my battling skills to join the discussions on the site.

Tell us a little about yourself: I love weather teams, currently using a sun team that I have found fairly successful, however currently haven't gone so well due to lowered activity and illness (therefore countless misplays) - I know my basic concept, and like most styles, but usually prefer to use weather (be it a summoner or move user)
I don't have the best internet access for PO thanks to internet cutting off at 10pm, as well as often going out with family. However, I will pre-warn of any unforseen circumstances and try to be online as often as possible...

I've been on smogon for a while, and while I haven't posted a lot, I'm enjoying all the help it brings. My peak has been 75th (which isn't much, I know) and until recently, my rating has been ~1300 (Although it's dropped down to ~1150 now thanks to a horrendous string of losses ._.) in OU - I haven't played UU for a while but when I did last, my team went fairly well. (But it might need to be changed thanks to the whole concept of banning evasion abilities) - my RU team absolutely sucked and I didn't have too much interest in the tier, but I desperately want to be tutored, and if I can be for any one of those tiers, it'd be absolutely Awesome!!!

tl;dr, I like weather, often am not home (but will warn if I can't access PO) and am OK at OU, haven't played UU for a while, and suck at RU, would love to be tutored for anything, but OU is preference...

I've always liked Pokemon, and I've been paying some attention to the competitive meta since the DPP era. I've played a bit competitively, and read a lot on Smogon and the forums, but I've never really focused on trying to be competitive as opposed to just messing around. Aside from Pokemon, my interests include mathematics and Magic: the Gathering.
Misc. stuff: I haven't posted much because I simply don't know enough to usefully contribute. I also haven't been active that much during the BW era; I first came around before Excadrill et al got banned, and didn't stay for long. I've only recently started paying attention to the meta again, and I haven't picked up on all that much knowledge. I've got plenty of spare time to devote to this, and a definite desire to learn!

Tell us a little about yourself: I'm a student in computer programming have been interested in pokemon since I was I think 8 years old. I love competitive gaming and have been in some significant competitive gaming events (top 200 in WoWs online competitive tournament 2010. Won Go4LoL 31 -league of legends- participated in numerous SSBM and CS tournaments etc..) I thought I decide to try my hand at competitive Pokemon and it's much more difficult then it seems on the surface.
Why I should be selected: I was interested in competitive Pokemon attempted on my own but realize it would be much more helpful with aid. I would always be on when I have schedueled lessons with the tutor that is assigned to me.
