Age: 17
Time zone: gmt+1
Regular Online Hours (Eastern only!): What exactly is Eastern time zone? =o Here in Germany (gmt+1) I'm usually online between 5pm and 10/11pm... On weekends nearly the whole day... If anyone tells me how to do so, I'll calculate the "Eastern" times =)
Experience level*: Originally started competitive battling in late 2007 (October I guess), but I've started to play seriously at around February of this year. Since then, I have been in the Shoddy Top 100 multiple times with older accounts and once reached ~1650 points. With all those great players developing even further, I also need some practice - that's why I want to join this project =)
A little about myself: Well, yeah... I'm German but I think my English is quite good - at least good enough for tutoring purposes xDD Usually I learn very fast, so I hope that goes for this project too... Dunno what I should write here, so that's it =P

Shoddy Battle nick: Fire Praiser, or practically anythign that starts with Tsu
Age:16
Time zone: GMT-4, never use DST
Regular Online Hours (Eastern only!): I assume it is 6 PM to 11 PM, but I can stall it up to 12 AM sometimes.I think Eastern time would be 5 PM to 10 PM.
Experience level: On a 1/10 scale, I would put myself between 7 and 8.I'm decent, but I don't tend to listen to my instinct, something that always seems to be right whenever I ignore it, but I should do ok.
A little about myself: I would like to call myself a "regular/average" internet denizen, and I like Pokemon.

My first pokemon game was Pokemon Red, game that I played on an emulator because I never liked asking for stuff, but I was pretty happy with it.I also played Yellow, but just to test it.

Then I moved to GSC generation via a friend that lend me Crystal, and I pretty much kept it.

Years later, the R/S era came, and I was still the same, metagame-wise; nothing special, your usual young, careless kid that just wanted to beat the E4 and try to get a decent number of pokemons in my pokedex.Up to this moment, I have never got into breeding, EV's and such.

In about 2005/2006, I joined Pokemon Netbattle, and slowly started growing up into the ADV metagame(Emerald came out much later). From that time up to now, it has been pretty much the same, until DP got out.

I got Pokemon Diamond relatively "late" due to money issues and my shyness, and was obviously different from RBY and GSC, thanks to Metagame.I had a more-balanced ingame team, and when I was done, got some OU pokemons and fought on the Wifi(still doing it).

Never got interested in Shoddy, up until now.I had to get the program to sign up into this...and here I am.

More information about me would be that I have never won a high place in any tourney I have signed up on, but I doubt I have got in even 5 tourneys.

What I'm looking forward to is to be able to make my own teams, get a better prediction, and try to get more confidence and believe in myself.

I had arranged to have Taylor as my tutor, and had made the forehand preparations, but stuff came up and this was unable to do.I would like jrrrrrrr as my tutor, if he's available.

Time zone: USA estern time
Regular Online Hours: Well now that summer has arrived usually at night from 7 pm on to 9ish. And sometimes from 4-6 pm. These are during week days because I have a job. On weekends I'm on at least these hours and most often in the afternoon and late morning as well.
Experience level: I play ladder extensivly, but as of late I have been in a slump. My rating is fluctuating in the 1400s usually mid to high. Looking to crack the top 100.
A little about myself: Just looking to get myself a few teams and more good experience from top battlers. My main goal is to improve my team building skills because right now in my team builder files I have about 100,000 xD.

As far as info I grew up with the games ect. and got netbattle late. Was a member of TO, an "elite" clan until it dispersed. Got shoddy right after it came out. Been playing shoddy and making teams ever since.

-----------
As for requests, these are in no way rigid but I would like sombody that I know such as Taylor, imperfectluck, or husk. Great sage or jrrrrrr would be fine as well. But really anyone with great team building skills that is willing to be flexible with my not so solid schedule.

Thanks in advance.

Shoddy Battle nick: Lawman, LTest (I plan to make a new alias after the program for the ladder to start over, seeing as those accounts have many losing streaks...)

Age: 15

Time zone: Central (GMT -6)

Regular Online Hours (Eastern only!): I'd say it varies from day to day, but most of the time its usually for any 2 hour period between 11:00 AM to 10:00 PM. However, knowing my schedule, there may be days where I can't get online for extended periods of time thanks to stuff my family drags me into doing with little-to-no notice. I have plenty of time for the most part however.

Experience level*: On a 1-10 scale... I would honestly rate myself a 7 on my best days, but most of the time I can get down to the negatives. I have trouble keeping up with current trends and such that my teams usually fail. I hope by the time I can finish this program, I will have a shot of at least making the top 500 or so (or heck, even higher if I get really good.)

A little about myself: I must admit that I was in a previous Tutoring program, but that was near the beginning of my school year, and since then I have probably battled a total of about 10 times really. If I am not allowed to participate in this program due to this, please let me know, but I am still as much as a noob as I was back then to be perfectly honest. I wish I was actually able to apply myself more back then, but now I am sure I can.

About my actual self, I am going to be a Sophomore this fall, and I am enlisted in an advanced program that is features the best of the best students in our school. I have been playing Pokemon since I moved up from Texas to Illinois back in early 2000.

I found out about Smogon and competitive at what was really the peak of Netbattle and the R/S/E era. I found my self trying the Battle Frontier with success thanks to Smogon (all silvers, but no gold however).

Anyways, I joined this community last fall after lurking for about two years, one of which was because I wasn't old enough to register, the other was due to me being nervous joining what I thought was some elite clan, ha. This was when I first really got "competitive", and since then, even though I feel I have learned a lot, I still feel that I can learn so much more.

I usually catch onto things very quickly. If not, I keep practicing and trying any methods or strategies until I realize I need to move onto the next one or I know how to use it now.

I plan to be much more active in this community in more ways in one. After going through this program, I plan on participating in many more tournaments than before, actually be able to back up several arguements I make in discussions in the main Pokemon boards, actual contribute to the corrections and contributions forum, and heck, I am even going through the WiFi Breeding Apprenticeship Program, so I will be more active in the WiFi boards even.

One major reason I want to partake in this program is because of the fact that, even though I have been hear for about 9 months, I don't feel like a true member of the community, just some random user. I know for a fact that this program is the way to go to accomplish this, so if I am accepted, I will greatly appreciate it.

To quote Hipmonlee, Have a nice day. :toast:

Regular Online Hours (Eastern only!): sorry this is in my time zone i couldn't find a working converter too EST
week days: 3:30m pm to 11:30 pm week ends: mostly all day but don't count on it
Experience level*: have been up to 1400 on shoddy a few times,
i would call myself a good player but very far away from the pro's you can meet.
i know the basics but i would like to have someone to help me in taking my game much further.
i can build team's but i would like to know some advanced stratergies. i know i could do it myself in time but
some guidence would help fantastically.

A little about myself:

I would like to request jrrrrrrr because he is my pokemon hero

Regular Online Hours (Eastern only!): I'm on summer vac, i'm going to japan soon though, that shouldnt be a problem it's only for a week, and I will have internet access there, now though, anywhere from 1PM to 12PM
Experience level*: I'm pretty good. This game isn't that hard to get good at, just takes good prediction skills and a well thought out team. But I have trouble with the latter

A little about myself:
My names Josh. I got into competetive at the end of the ADV era..soo im not THAT new. I just need help with team building and minor prediction help. I can get fed up with the game upon losing streaks, that cause me to take a break for a day or two, then I have to get back into it. But for a situation like this, where I would be learning and "trained" I can ge over that.

All tutors have been assigned. Sorry if you didn't get a spot this round. Try again next round.
