April showers bring May...AP Testing!

What what AP tests are you guys taking and any study plans?

For me it:

US History
Calc AB
Physics C - Mech
English Lang.
Environmental Science

I know I can do pretty good on the calcm history and physics but english and environmental science is going to be hard. especially since i did quite bad on their mocks.

I took bc calc last year along with java, so this year I am taking only english.

English is possibly the most awesome AP out there. Pretty much if you did well on the SAT verbal you will do well on the AP. And it would help if you knew stuff like structure, syntax, and other "formal writing devices."

Haha, AP Tests. Man, I hated those (except for Studio Art) but at least getting +.5 on your GPA for each AP class is sweet.

I took

English Language - 3
English Literature - 3
Calculus AB - 4
Environmental Science - 4
Studio Art - 5

I have Calc BC and English Language this year, and took Calc AB and US and Euro History already. Apart from possibly Spanish I didn't really have a lot a options at my school, even though I would have liked to take some of the other tests like Physics and Comp Sci.

my school pretty much forces you to take AP classes if you want a decent class rank. i think about 40 people in my class have 4.0's and like 15 of them have 4+ AP classes. sucks to go to my school.

edit: AP is also the reason i'm not buying diamond/pearl til it's over.

took biology last year and got a 5.

taking chemistry, world history, US history and european history this year and taking probably around 8 or so next year (challenging a few)

edit: AP is also the reason i'm not buying diamond/pearl til it's over.

me too but I still need to take SAT I and 3 SAT II's in the next two months

This year I'm only taking English Language (When we took the mock, I got a 4 despite getting a 4 on one of my essays :/).

Next year I'll take
Calc BC
English Literature
Physics (I'm not really sure if it's C or not, whatever)
Spanish
Statistics

EDIT: The reason I'm not buying D/P is because I'm poor, if that makes you feel better.

i am taking:
English Literature
Physics (mechanics)
and
Psychology

i managed a 790 on the written part of the SAT and got a 4 on last years english AP test so i am pretty much set for english this year. Physics is going to be a bitch and psychology wont be that hard.

I'm only taking the American History and English Language exams this year. I'm far too lazy and unmotivated to study for them, so I'll probably end up getting 3's like I did on last year's European History exam.

this year, i only have psychology, and last year i had human geography. next year, im going to be taking AP English, Chemistry, US History, 2-D Design and i might be taking Calculus AB if I get that class.

God, your schools offer so many AP classes, my school only has the basic ones. Must suck taking 8 tests at $80 a piece for $640 total. I guess it really outweighs having to take the college class though. Last year I took AP US History and got a 4 with a pretty poor teacher so I guess it was okay.

This year I'm taking AP Inorganic Chemistry and AP Calculus.

Next year I'm going to have AP Economics, AP Government, and AP English Literature. With that, I'll have taken all of the AP classes that my school offers except two (Psych and Bio).

Taking calc bc, world, language and composition, and biology aps this year.

I'm probably not going to do well on any of them!

Ah....I was going to take Calc AB, but alas... it's $100 and I'm not going to gain too, too much from it so I decided against it (not to mention I'm cheap XD). But, good luck to you all =P

I thought people in other countries took IB tests? At least that's what I was told.

AP tests are a godsend for GPA (unless you go to a school that doesn't accept them), if you think about it $100 isn't that big of a deal compared to the tuition you're going to have to pay in college anyway. I took 5 junior year and then got lazy and only took Physics E&M senior year. Lucked out on CS too because it was the last year in C++.

I only took one AP class in highschool, that was Biology.
Later On, I took some Pharmacology classes that may as well have been AP, as the info in them is way more than I could handle.

IB's only if you go to international schools, or luck out like me and do bilingual education culminating in an English A2 degree.

Other than that, I have taken regular Dutch high school exams and passed them. :/ System is so different here..

Our school forces students to take AP classes, and they're going to be forcing all incoming freshmen to take AP World. I just took Honors world, and last year I took AP Euro as it was forced upon you. I did ok on it, 3, but I mean, I expected it to be easier so I didn't study so yeah..

Only Calculus AB for me. I'm taking the college course anatomy and physiology also, but it's not an AP test offered by college board... I have to go to the college and take the final there! Our AP US History is split into two years (sophomore year, then junior year), so I'm only going to be taking that exam next year.

I've taken

Bio -5
Chem - 5
Us History - 4
English Language - 4
Spanish - 3

And this year I'm taking Calc AB and English Lit
